Root Samsung S8+ on Verizon - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

I'm trying to root a Samsung S8+ on Verizon. I tried the CF Auto Root but it keep getting stuck in the Setup Connection and then fails. Does anyone know how to do it? Or if it's even possible?

If you have the snapdragon, not possible yet or ever.

Not possible on the US versions of the S8+ at this time.

Bypass galaxy s4 mini activation screen verizon

Hello All,
I am in the process of renewing my contract with Verizon and will be getting an s4 mini. I haven't gotten the phone yet but from what I understand I will need to activate it once I receive it. Before I activate the phone and start paying for the data I would like to play with it for a while and also try it with a European sim card. In the meantime I will keep using my previous phone until I am ready to switch. Can this be done?
I have seen a video online to bypass the activation screen for s3 and was wondering if there is a similar procedure for the Verizon s4 mini. Is it possible to root perhaps? I never had a smart phone but I have jailbroken a couple of e-readers.
thanks
or at least would it be possible to use my European sim card right away?

[Q] State of the Note Question

Hi All- I had a Note 4 for a few days back when they first came out, returned because of all the bloat between Samsung and ATT. Looking for an Android device now, but have a question. Has the state of the Note 4, for either ATT or T-Mobile changed to the point where I can solve my phone bloat problems? Through rooting, or some other technique (iPhone user learning the ropes here), can I address all the apps and Touchwiz stuff I don't like?
If you want root, get the t-mobile version or the developer edition with Verizon, there is temp root for this at&t version which is like a tethered jailbreak but now you can do the re-root on your phone no pc needed, but you lose it if you do a hard reboot... Good luck

T-Mobile Galaxy S9 Root?

Apologize ahead of time but been out of the Android/rooting game for a while now. Just want to know if root is still a thing and if the T-Mobile s9 can be rooted?
As far as what I know, which isnt much, there is no root for tmobiles snapdragon galaxy s9 or s9+ due to locked bootloader (no OEM unlock option in developer settings) There are only certain varients of the device that are able to achieve root. Exynos CPU based and international variants from what I understand. I too have the same tmobile galaxy s9 and have been checking every now and then just hoping. Sry to be the one to bring u bad news.

Root LG G7 Plus on Verizon?

Is this possible? If not, will international version work on Verizon?
I'm been looking for a flat screen phone comparable to S10e only with a little better screen. The G7 is also a way better price. But the question remains whether I can root the device.
I would also be willing to switch to T-Mobile is that is possible.
Please let me know.
No root for us im on tmobile version but it seems verizon and att are on the same problem.it seems that no one is working on the root maybe it will be better to move on to another phone

For now, I did get another phone. Hopefully they do get root because I would like this phone, but I would never get a phone without root.

Going from S5 (G900V) to S20? Is it worth it? Unlock bootloader and root?

First to mention my long time S5 is in hardware failure , this confirmed after flashing a stock rom and camera stops working and signal keeps dropping.
Should I upgrade to the S20 or S20ultra? I've read that I can pay for a service to have bootloader unlocked, and it can be rooted?
How is Verizon 5G vs say T-mobile?
I have no interest in the S21 because it doesn't have expandable storage.
It is your preference whether you want the regular S20, or the giant Ultra. What I hate about USA is that, their carriers demand locked bootloader. Therefore, they forbid people from enjoying the super powers of Android.
The phone can be unlocked & rooted. There's some ROMs available, too.
As for the 5G, Verizon was the king when the S20 came out, thanks to its millimetre-wave 5G. Today may be a different story.

I know about the locked bootloaders theres a paid service I can use to unlock it. I think i'm going with the S20 plus. This morning my phone finally got stuck in permeant boot loop wont boot any roms after it was pretty much fine for about a week.
