I have an MTCC unit with RK 3188 and my query is to know if from the hardware you
can modify the maximum brightness of the screen more than it comes from the factory.
I made the query in the software forum and I was referred to the hardware forum.
Is this possible to do??
Thank you

Hi,
i want to use the P3300 for outdoor navigation, but the display is not readable even if it is cloudy! There are display types which are called transflective displays, that are still readable if the sun is shining and the background light is switched off (e.g. http://www.sharpsma.com/Page.aspx/americas/en/42fbcfb5-685b-4c5f-a40f-8b800b6a1124/).
Does anyone know such a display that is compatible with P3300? It has to use the same display controller. Does someone know which display controller is used in P3300?
I found a good disassembly instructions in the following forum:
http://www.modaco.com/content/artemis-love-artemis-modaco-com/260167/disassemble-xda-orbit/
because it seams slightly different for P3300 and XDA Orbit.
Kind regards,
hqqh
hi,
after some internet search I found a page (http://handyersatzteile-versand.de/index1.html) where the following displays are listed as compatible for the p3300:
- Toppoly TD028TTEB1
- Hitachi TX07D05VM0APA
- Sony ACX357AKN8
But in order to check which display controller and which logical/physical interface is used I need a datasheet. But I didn't found one!!!
From Hitachi there is a datasheet for TX07D09XXXX, but I'm not sure what the differences to TX07D05 are.
Any idea?

Hello to you all,
I really need help regarding the touch screen of my HTC Touch Pro2, which has lost its former sensitivity for some time now. I now need to apply more pressure on it to have it respond. As a result, the touch screen is getting all scratched!
I've made extensive research on the subject right here on the forum and else where as well; however, nobody seems to have the solution for the Touch Pro2.
Following are the actions I tried to take, which were unfortunately to no avail:
- I downloaded and installed an application called iTouch, which can be found on the link below:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=469865
- I tried to edit my phone's registry as suggested by several posts I have read. The files whose values I was asked to change are:
(i) HKLM/Drivers/TouchPanel/PressureThreshold. The value has to be set at 80866 (using decimal, not hex).
(ii) HKLM/Software/OEM/TFLOSettings/FingerPressure. The value has to be set at 1 (using decimal, not hex).
Also, I'm currently running on Windows Mobile 6.5 and it is my guess that editing...TFLOSettings/FingerPressure is not making any difference in the sensitivity of the touch screen because my user interface in HTC Sense 2.5.
Sorry for the long post and your help will be much appreciated.
Thanks
Why is nobody helping me?
Please, I need your help.
Thank you very much!
Hello,
I would suggest simply running the screen calibration again and pressing very lightly the screen when asked to.
This will change the registry values to the appropriate ones.
The values you edited are the right ones for the pressure sensitivity of the device. Make sure you restart the device after applying them. If they make no difference, then there make be a problem with the digitizer. In that case, you might want to look into a warranty replacement, if you have that option. If not, digitizers and their instruction kits go for about $50-80 on eBay.
Hi all! I have a problem that I cant understand if is it an hardware or software issue.
The screen occasionally wobbles in the bottom like if it should be adjust the resolution.
Now I have tried to change the style and apparence of the htc layout... and for now the problem is disappers.
Someone can tell me if has look the same freaky behavior or can help me to know if it hardware or software.
thanks in advance!

So, where should i start. I needed someone who's really into android to help me with a certain problem. I'm a tattoo artist, using a german made Tattoo Touch power supply. This is basically a power box with an android tablet as a control unit, they are connected via bluetooth. I attach a photo of it. The control tablet is a cheap kt712a device, with a really low resolution of 1024x600. I extracted the Tattoo touch apk, installed on my 7x to see if i can use that also as a contol unit. I can, it works, but the user interface maybe because the different resolutions, is completely messed up. The buttons are all over, etc. Everything works tho. My question is, would it be possible to somehow adjust the dpi, resolution or whatever to get the perfect interface on my 7x too? I hope i could explain my problem properly. Thanks for any help in advance!
