LET US KNOW ABOUT ANY PROBLEMS THAT ANY ONE IS HAVING WITH (MIUI) PLEASE...
Phone earpiece didn't work properly (Reboot fixed that)
WiFi
Having a lot of apps open and trying to "back" out of them will send you into each app
Camera is only 5MP (although pics look fine to me)
Acceleromoeter doesn't seem to be working
Stock keyboard has no dictionary/lib whatever
I guess thats about it for now, of course the parts still in chinese are a problem but I'm sure we will get a fix soon enough now that they have it for the N1.
sdcard is mounted and i can see it via adb shell. going to market to install anything says there is no free space and trying to view the sdcard via settings causes a force close.
OK fixed sdcard issue somehow. I pushed a new vold.fstab from a fresh rom to /system/etc/ and maybe that fixed it. Not sure. Still force closes in settings though.
BUT NOW: I installed the translation pack from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=8268876&postcount=2 and it shows me as always roaming.
Bluetooth never enables
WiFi as stated above
Shell when using adb is not root and using su will not give you root
Dictionary didn't work for me... I ended up pulling the dictionary from CM6 converting to a txt file that works with User Dictionary Manager and am currently running an import from it... going to take a while!
So that dictionary fix really sucked. Put LatinIME.apk on /sdcard/, Rebooted to recovery and did the following:
#mount /system
#mount /sdcard
#rm /system/app/LatinIME.apk
#cp /sdcard/LatinIME.apk /system/app/
and now the dictionary works as it is supposed to!
Fixed always roaming! Push eri.xml to /data/ and it works.
-cannot send multiple mmms messages at once
-voicemail icon will not go away
-cannot get dolphin browser app to stay on bottom portion of main screen, keeps dissapearing (no idea where to)
Help! I did a stupid thing in CWM recovery as I saw these 3 options in "mounts and storage" when doing a factory reset:
format/persist
format/sns
format/firmware
I went ahead and formatted all 3 after my factory reset (too trigger happy), just to make sure I wiped everything. After my fresh CM install, my screen doesn't rotate and auto brightness doesn't respond. Basically, all sensors (except for pressure sensor) don't work! Proximity, ambient light, accelerometer, gyro, magnetic all show up as blank in CPU-Z. And the phone's screen doesn't shut off when I put it to my face when making a call!
On rechecking, I believe all the sensor data I wiped was located in the /persist and /sns folders, as I see a "sensors" folder in /persist and /sns is supposed to have some files too but the folder is empty now.
Please help! I don't think flashing a stock KDZ will work as this member tried it and it doesn't work.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2379069
Can someone please upload your /persist and /sns folders here for me please? For the LG Optimus G E975, but I believe any other variant model would work also. They folders are all very small in size, in total less than 1MB. The 2 folders are located in the root. I have attached a pic of them.
You can use ES File Explorer to copy them out to a USB accessible folder on your phone ("/Download" for instance) and zip them up and kindly upload it here please... I will be very very relieved and thankful....
Thanks in advance!!!
Replacing the Persist folder did it for me on my nexus 5, thanks for figuring this out man!
did you fix it?
Hi, I did the same thing, how did you fix it? did you get the firmware?

I solved the problem already thanks whoever replied.
Basically the only way - restore stock. Everything worked fine after that and I kept it at stock, and my mother is using the phone now.

I have an LG F180L that I converted to an E975,
it was working properly for the last few months but now after installing an app called GreenPower, my sensors stopped working.
I tried reverting back to different Korean versions of the F-180L, but my attempts were fruitless, the sensors still don't register info.
Sometimes, after several reboots, light and proximity sensors work for a while but motion sensors never do.
Any ideas, solutions?

I just reflashed the stock firmware back to the OG. All sensors started working again, and I verified with CPUZ. Use the sensors section to check if everything works.
Unfortunately I've tried reverting back to stock F-180 version, tried multiple different versions including formatting all partitions on the device (system, boot, firmware, etc).
I did manage to get all of the sensors working once on F-180 4.4.2, but they stopped working after reboot.
Usually only proximity and light sensors work.
Any ideas?
I did the same mistake, and I could repair it.
I did the same mistake, I made a factory reset and format /persist, /sns & /firmware. When you erase that partitions you remove all information about phone and drivers of phone's hardware.
To repair it you need this things:
- A Custom ROM in your phone
- Nandroid Backup of your LG Stock ROM
- Download Mode available
- LG FlashTool 2014
- Stock .KDZ of your phone's variant
With those things I could repair my phone.
First of all, go to CWM o Phliz recovery is better, and flash any custom rom, CM, Omni, LG Stock KK. Only Wipe data, restart your phone and when the phone starts up,
Find any Nandroid Backup from your PC of Stock ROM 4.1 and move them to phone "/clockworkmod/backup/" . Go to CWM and make a restore of your Nandroid Backup.
When it finish the restore, restart and wait until phone's starts up. Power Off your phone and put it on Download Mode (Volume up & Down + USB) . With LG Flashtool 2014 flash your .KDZ in CS EMERGENCY MODE. Wait more or less 20 minutes until process finishes. Restart your Phone, and It will be working normally.
You will have signal, audio, wifi, bluetooth, sensors, IMEI, all we be normally like when you bought your phone.

My phone lg e975 touch randomely repeted not properly. Work
Hi there guys,
From my time being on Android, I've come across a few errors that say they don't have enough "space" and this is usually down to SD card errors - but in this instant I'm completely stumped. To the point I think it is a very very bad virus.
Mum's phone: Note 2 - SIM unlocked, bought outright - she's been using it for over a year now
Symptom: When trying to open ANY picture (be it screenshot ON or OFF the EXT SD card - the erro (attached) crops up.
Things I've tried:
-Changing folder location of the camera app
-Clearing cache for camera, my files and gallery
-Clearing dalvik and cache in recovery
-Removing EXT SD card (with safe to remove and pulling out suddenly)
One thing I've noticed: I CANNOT move the DCIM folder. It says it "cannot be copied/deleted/moved"
The DCIM folder in "My Files" in fact doesn't exist as a folder - looks like a .DAT file - and when trying to click for details on the folder - it force closes the "my files"
One thing that's curious is that she can get the photos OFF her phone and view them on her PC without any problems.
I thus think the phone has a virus (also because there was two apps installed on there, which I've never seen before - apps that are from the play store, but apps I've never installed nor imagine my mum installing them)
Any ideas?
My only trail of thought is:
TB up and factory reset the phone.
-Dubbed
(Dead zone) - no one care to help?
I just completely wiped the phone, even wiped the system - re-flashed the ROM from scratch - as I restore the apps - the "gallery FC" what the beep is going on - I've had enough of these crap Samsung phones!!!!!
Okay I've read a lot of threads about this already but not a single one had any solution for this. So I press the camera button in order to take a picture (my phone is locked btw), the camera app will start and when i try to snap a picture i get "error camera not available". I just set my phone to factory reset a few days ago. I don't have any custom rom or anything on it so Sony's own **** doesn't even work. Getting real tired of this.
I do not use an SD card or have an SD card inserted if thats some important information.
Could you try
Settings > apps > all > camera > clear data and clear cache > restart your phone
After boot loop issue with my LG G4 in February. It was replaced by the repair station without firmware and now with the firmware and Lollipop 5.1 installed with no updates available for Marshmallow.
Now I have noticed that camera crashes when selfie mode is used or front facing camera. This maybe the beginning of things going wrong again....
Can anyone recommend a fix. Phone is not rooted. And I don't want to use the very unstable Android 6. I bought this phone u locked via Amazon and unfortunately don't want to return it to them as LG has changed the serial number.
Totally stuck between a rock and a hard place as can't be without a phone for another 2 weeks.

Look for the camera app in the apps manager - all apps and try to clear cache. Test.
if that does not work, try clear data option above.
Test again...
had a similar problem with another device because i twiddle a setting. and lost the camera. The above fixed it. I learnt not to twiddle that setting again.
Hi, I had this issue and none of the software workaround worked for me. The issue is related to a defective hardware part, the power switch (B0181RDMM6). I replaced this and it fixed the issue. When this part is defective, it can hinder the call screen (meaning that when you dial or receive a call, the screen will not turn on for about 10 seconds) and it can also make the camera useless (meaning that the user will receive an error message on boot and when trying to use the camera. the error message is "unfortunately camera has stopped working". This is because the camera cannot work when the flash is used as a flashlight. It seems that when this part is defect, the phone thinks that flashlight is always on.
you can easily find the part on amazon at amazon.ca/s?k=B0181RDMM6&ref=nb_sb_noss
Unfortunately camera has stopped working Android error
Method 1: Restart phone
Well, this is a very straightforward step that could easily fix the camera has stopped error on your smartphone.
Method 2: Clear cache and data of your Camera application
Most of the time, the application cache may cause this error. To fix it, simply follow these steps:
Go to Settings >> Apps (or application manager) >> Swipe to go to “All”
Now scroll down the list of apps, and tap on “Camera”
Tap “Clear Cache” & “Clear Data”
Now restart your smartphone
Open the camera app and check for the error.
Method 3: Formatting external microSD card
This method is applicable only if you save your photos on your external microSD card. Simply remove the SDcard and move all of files stored on it to your hard drive. Then insert the microSD card in your PC or Laptop’s SDcard slot and format it. To format it, right click on the microSD card drive after it appears on your PC, then select “Format”. Before formatting , you can also try checking for error by right clicking your SDcard and selecting “Properties” >> Tools >> Check
