I've got myself a crafty T-800 and I got LineageOS on it, but what I really miss is the sound enhancement options in Faux mod. I'm not a dev myself, so I can only ask if anyone tried porting it, or anyone is interested in porting it?
S5 has a fine custom kernel that has this mod enabled - it would be nice to have the same for Tab S too: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/unified-development/kernel-project-kltexxx-t3564206

Just D/L new SOS 6 in 1 and flashed. Wondering who else thinks this is the ultimate in user input experience. Worked awesome for me.!!!

I think its a little over the top but it it really nice being able to customize your Rom before flashing

I hope the future of flashing all custom ROMs goes in this direction. Still has some bugs to work out, but defiantely better than flashing your ROM, then your kernel, then your mods. In one download and one recovery session you get it all.
I liked aroma. it was nice to get everything done in one shot. Wonder when more developers will make the switch to aroma. Thanks to swag and other developers for bringing us this great tool and hopefully more to come.

Glad to hear people like it! I personally love it! Props to amarullz for developing AROMA!!!
It is great, choose the mods provided by the developer of the rom which should better ensure compatibility. Love the choice of kernels that some roms are providing, people always wonder what kernel works best with "___" Rom, the top kernels are provided. Theme support for roms, more themers would be nice for a variety of visual styles/schemes. Bloatware, choose what to keep, what to remove at instal, a guy could go on all day here
The installer is great, been using SOS since November & can't get enough. Only issue is since the Aroma Installer update my speaker seems to have a crackling sound, tried all the kernels and same problem.
hey guys i was wondering if anyone new if the same volume hack that was in
the tweaked rom exist for maybe an aosp rom. i really like the rom but i am an aosp guy.
the reason i am still on it is because the volume increase is real and actually makes a deference.
i have tried things like n.e.a.k kernel on aosp roms but didn't hear a difference. so thats why i want the one used in the
touchwiz rom..
Has anyone tried flashing acid sound mod / beats (actually not sure what it is actually called) on their 2013 N7? I have it on my SGS3 running CM10.1 and it is fantastic. Does it work on 4.3? On my N7 I am currently running clean rom fyi. Any help would be appreciated.
Bro, trust me you don't need this ****. Even tho you would not really hear any difference.
Enjoy your stock sound, it's great IMHO.
Best wishes.
Hey Everyone,
Recently I've been trying like heck to get any ICS/sense based ROM to boot with the current available kangarookernels (r19.1 and r21) and I've had no luck. I know there are other decent sense kernels out there but my primary interest is in fauxsound. I have a fascinate (galaxy s) here that I use for a music player and because of the voodoo hardware and kernel it blows basically any other phone I've come across out of the water in terms of headset output. Otherwise, do you guys know of any other AOSP/sense based kernels that incorporate fauxsound for our device. Thank you very much for reading and I look forward to any input that's out there.

-Should have mentioned that I'm S-OFF, currently running viperinc with havesense kernel. always follow the proper format for flashing and i'm havning no issues with the current combo. also i've used the antivenom script and it unfortunately did not help.
Build your own kernel?
It would allow you to have any configuration of options...

Thank you for the vote of confidence....but I'm not savvy enough with the programming language to build a kernel. I looked into adding kernel patches and tried getting a general feel for the Linux language....and I still don't know what a GIT is. I have a lot of respect for you folks out there who can make it happen but I'm not one of them.
Hey guys I have the N900T and I am so jealous of my wifes S5 look and feel. Does anyone recommend an S5 port for my note 3.
I noticed the call minimizes to the top left of the screen when she is on the desktop and also here slide down is completely different and cool and her settings is just circle icons and you just scroll down.
Is there a ROM or MOds I can get you guys to recommend to look exactly like hers and have her same features. I'm running infamous ROM with BioShock over clocked kernel.
If I can accomplish the whole S5 features without another ROM I'm good with that.
Also does anyone know what the latest radio is for the T-Mobile N900T? I wanna compare it to my current one. I have a screen shot of my info.
Thanks guys
I think NF4 is the latest.
I've seen some apps ports from S5 in themes and apps forum I think, but can't help with info on whole ROM port.
I'm running this port on a tmo N900t, it is excellent

[ROM][N900x]RC ELITE TEAMS S5 Port V17 [08-07-2014]
It is nf4
Hey thanks guys. I'm gonna RC Elite a try. I appreciate the feedback.
I was gonna start working on my own port to add/remove features but I just don't have the time like I used to.
With work and a baby on the way I wouldn't have time to support a thread. I couldn't just make a ported ROM and not share with my folks here.
