Hello friend!
I have a full touch screen dvd unit that I bought about 2 years ago. I love this unit, but recently, the display not works.
A strange image with a black background appears as if the flat is defective.
I'm very depressed, because I don't have technical assistance here in Brazil.
Kind regards,
Thiago

I recently got a 2nd-hand unit, and noticed some really bad flickering near the bottom of the screen. They seem to be especially evident when viewing the screen outdoors. It is so bad and obvious that the screen almost seems to be bouncing!
Anyone else have similar experience, or did I get a lemon?
bummer...it looks like you may have scored a lemon....

Hi guys. I just a have a problem with my display. Saturday I kind of droped down my phone (face down) and since then I have a spot on my display. I attach you 2 images just to tell your opinion. Is it a display problem that can be solved or do I have to change the screen. I don`t have any problem with my touch screen but it really bothers me that spot.
Thanks.
Hello everyone!
Recently i cracked the screen glass on my 5X. Normally it's not a very bothersome crack, but it goes right through the middle of the camera and makes it practically useless, so i'm planning on replacing the screen assembly, probably ordering it from aliexpress. Do any of you know of a certain "brand" i should be avoiding? Any feedback on the subject is appreciated!
I just bought mine yesterday on amazon, take a look

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy replacement touch screen panels for these units? My capacitive touch panel shattered while I was applying a screen protector (I know right, what the hell?!). The LCD panel and everything else is fine, but the unit is useless without a touch screen.
It's a Belsee 10.1" Android 8.0 model (sorry, I'm too new to post links) which appears to be a resold KLD/Klyde model.
I ended up sourcing one from Klyde directly via Alibaba. I’m surprised by how big a gap there is between the actual LCD and the touch panel. No wonder this thing is hard to read in direct sunlight!
Hi there,
I dropped the tablet recently on one corner and the screen cracked. The display is still working e.g. the screen is touch-responsive.
I watched several repair videos and YT. To replace just the glass seems to be quite a mission with the risk of breaking the new glass as well. I want to replace the whole display unit. Samsung charges a fortune, exceeding the value of the whole tablet (> 4 years old). Could somebody point me to a supplier where I could get a new or second-hand display unit. Does anybody have experience with changing the display? Many thanks for any reply. Cheers LJ

Nice video how to:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSKA3R8t5Qk
Good pictures of opening it here:https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Disassembling+Galaxy+Tab+S+10.5+Back+Cover/49981
google how to replace t800 screen there is plenty of info. You might only need to replace the touch screen. If you need to replace the entire assembly it is easier to do but more costly.

Hi there, thanks for the reply. I have seen this and other videos of the tear-down and screen or glass only replacement in the meantime. Why I posted my question here, is to get a kind of first-hand experience of members of the procedure. On the videos it looks relatively easy and straight forward. The glass only replacement is difficult and I will not attempt it. The replacement of the display unit is easier but, as you correctly point out, very expensive. An original Samsung display from a supplier in Spain is approx. EUR 200, thus much more than the time value of the Tab S. My conclusion thus far is to retire my Tab S and go for a brand new Kindle Fire as I use the tablet for reading only. Cheers LJ
