How Can you Help ME ??

Link for Jiofi 2? Which version?
Any development in Jiofi M2 unlocking. Could you confirm Internal memory and RAM? I saw on quora that Jiofi M2 has RAM of 2GB LPDDR2 and 4GB NAND(what will they do with 4GB also it's not user accessible) . Why they need such a high RAM and memory capacity as device never consumed more than 106MB(RAM). Also new one has(Jiofi3) 512 MB(That too only LPDDR instead of LPDDR2) and only 1GB NAND. Seems like Jiofi2 is actually better than Jiofi3. Also i think they are using cheaper cpu and motherboard(like spreadtrum) as a cost cutting measure.
Btw after Feb 2017 firmware update which only add help menu decreased Internet spees. Now speed no longer as fast as oct firmware.

Hey OP why are you flashing Jiofi JMR 520 bin. It's for Jiifi 3 not Jiofi M2.

I couldn't find any info on Qualcomm mdm 9307. Are you sure it is 9307 not 9207-1?
Also Juifi M2 looks like Andromax M2Y. Maybe both are same.

yes the new PEG_M2_B34 update has made speed slow with frequent disconnections (internet does not work unless JioFi is restarted). Did you find any solution? Went to service center and after a lot of queue (they do not deposit device, sit there like idiot waiting for your turn) finally when my number came the JioFi worked pretty smooth with downloading speed of 3MB/sec. Trolled me.
Any updates in unlocking JIOFI 2 device. Actually, the device switches to Band 3 or 5 effectively reducing the internet speed. I'm looking for a way to have the device stick in Band 40 on which it gives awesome speed.
Any progress yet ?
As Abraham79 said, the speed on band 40 (~8-13 Mbps) is way faster than band 5 or band 3(~300Kbps to 1Mbps)
My jiofi 3 also had a firmware update and since then it rareeeeeeeeeely connects to band 40. :crying:
On using web developer tools and disabling all styles for the admin page I found it had many hidden setting like changing the mode between FDD and TDD :fingers-crossed: ......................but it cannot be saved as page doesn't work after disabling styles
am totally fed up with this poor speed, will research and try for some more days then quit this:crying:

Looks like its impossible to lock jiofi2 to band 40. If someone can take firmware from jiofi i.e. Jiofi 1 and make it able to install on jiofi2 then we can get band 40 only because jiofi 1 has only band 40 supported
JioFi Me is working horribly after a new auto update of firmware version PEG_M2_B34. The speed is incredibly low and intermittently disconnecting. All rebooting, resetting done with no use. Anyway to uninstal the update or other firmware update etc. Please help. I stopped uding the device

MIUI V5 on honor2/g615 it's not so good ATM.
The battery consumption is very high, RAM management is poor and is very slow compared to EMUI...
Our phones are very similar, I hope it will works better than the honor2 porting..

Looks nice. Is there any possibility for Emui 2.0 running as native android ? So it wouldnt be emulation anymore? And,, is there any release date specified?
A post about EMUI 2.0 made at the end of last month. He attaches a screenshot but im not sure if his source is that screenshot or its something else. Blunt P6 could help translate that screenshot. Anyway im not sure of the accuracy of the info as of for now.

I wonder if the Geekbench 4 scores would differ from those posted here.

He just said he does not have it yet. I am pretty lucky to have one with 9377 WiFi/BT chip.
Sorry for the double post, I tested the custom ROM yesterday. Netflix works out of the box, without the need to modify anything. Everything else is pretty much the same. It does have some apps preinstalled that I do not want. I went back to the official one, especially since the guy in charge for the ROM does not have the device anymore and did not develop a version for the box with the other WiFi chipset.

I found the ROM quite a bit better then the 106 firmware.
-seemed a bit smoother (although this is highly subjective)
-kodi dark screen issue is gone
-I like the reboot app he added
-youtube works perfectly as is up to 1080p
most importantly, it looks like he might be continuing development, some of the members at freaktab are working to get him some donations so he can buy another GT1, hes very close to having the enough to buy another GT1.
I never had any black or green screen, none of those issues that some other people complained about with official firmware. I gave it away, since I got the Q10 Pro at a very good price. I will continue to monitor it because I gave it to a colleague and I want him to have the best experience he can get on the GT1.

- NTP Server setting (Date and time -> NTP Server)
- Fixed ext4 support
- Added choice of actions for sleep timer and power key on RC (Display -> Daydream -> Power key action)
- Added ability of disabling wake up from motions (Display -> Daydream -> Wake up from motion)
- Added Debug Settings (SC settings -> System -> Debug Settings)
I dont think its needs the brightness fix... i leave that to you guys/girls to decide... the control app is there if needed!

On 1º boot when you setup in english language the on screen keyboard may not show when you going to put you wifi password, to fix it go back and change to another language go to the wifi password click it to show the on screen keyboard when it shows go back to the language selection screen and choose english again and it should be ok now on the wifi password. YOU ONLY NEED TO DO THIS ONCE!
Only update "su" if you are going to to stay at root if are not going to stay at root and you are going to be doing a lot of changes between the two dont update it! Or you will get a boot animation loop...
Ugoos Firefly after you enable it and reboot still says its off but its not true, its on!
Google cast dont work(missing Widevine L1), use ugoos Firefly for casting videos and pics of your phone to the tvbox.

I'm testing fast start up in windows 10 mobile and my device starts faster so far. If anyone wants to try this out, here are the keys to modify and add. Here's how all is by default and how to change it.
HKLM\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\POWER
1) HibernateEnabled is the only hibernate key. Once you turn it on (value 1) and reboot(shuwtdown the phone and start it again, don't do a soft reset), it will generate hiberfil.sys at 100% and creating a key called HiberFileSizePercent with value 100. Your storage sense will grow. 3) Once you do the HiberbootEnabled change, come back to this path
HKLM\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\POWER and create a value(integer DWORD) called HiberFileType and set it to 1 (1 means reduced) and set the HiberFileSizePercent to 0. This will make the hiberfil type to reduced and only be used to fast start up. Reboot(shuwtdown the phone and start it again, don't do a soft reset) again, and test.
HKLM\SYSTEM\CURRENTCONTROLSET\CONTROL\SESSION MANAGER\POWER
2) Enable HiberbootEnabled. Default value is 0, change to 1.
IMPORTANT: once you do the hibernate enabled, hiberfil.sys will appear. But,
not like pc, once you set it to reduced and enable hiberboot, the hiberfil.sys dissapears but the storage space keeps taken at 20% like if you have hiberfil.sys reduced (type reduced is 20% of your physical RAM) in pc, when you set it to reduced, it sets the HiberFileSizePercent to 0 but the page doesn't dissapear. My start up is a lot faster than it used to be, i also modified HighPerfBootDuration from 15000 to 2000 just for testing. The shutdown process when you finish this steps will take a little longer because it's saving the current windows state, drivers loaded and etc. to perform the fast start up for the first time.

-Found how to change to hibernate/sleep/hybrid sleep with power button but not tested yet.

I've tested this. Indeed, the phone boots faster, but only when your device has no apps on the SD card; or if you don't have the card attached.
No issues about connections.
Also, "HiberFileType" is not a key. is a DWord entry.
How fast of a boot are we talking here? I can test it on my 950 xl if you need....

Try testing and let us know your results but, i don't know how fast 950xl boots since i don't own one!
So whatever you achieved, you will loose when turning phone off what for me personally is more annoying than "stock" booting time...

Not really... The shutdown process only increases to generate the fast startup, it will shutdown normally after doing this!
If you want to speed up the shutdown because you feel it slow independently of the fast start up, you can always reduce the WaitToKillServiceTimeout value, not that much tho because somewhat obvious reasons, the kill abruption is not good!
Making it shorter you might cause the problem with unsaved app status even in freeze case while recording
After performing the procedure on my 930, I didn't notice any difference (timed before and after). I would like to point out that all the steps have been taken and that the NOKIA logo lasts as usual 20 seconds and then the Windows logo from 19 to 23 seconds longer.
However, the stop lasts 7 seconds instead of 14.

Hi, timed my 635 with 512 ram and it goes 18 seconds NOKIA logo and 5 seconds Windows logo. It used to be something like yours, around 20 secs the windows logo. I also have other tweaks on my phone that might be affecting this boot speed, i got rid of the carrier logo, that saved me around 5 seconds. What OS version are you on?

ConnectedStandby is located here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power
the value es CsEnabled, change it to 0.
For the .xml you need full system access, enable it. Once this is done, connect to the pc, inside Phone, you will see the system folders, enter the route, copy the .xml as a backup and save it in your pc. Modify the .xml, deleting the group that @xboxmod suggested.

Connected standby is what makes your device constantly waking up to get notifications, new emails, and these type of tasks, changes the sleep behaviour. I'm now trying to remap the power button to make the device sleep, connected standby is as per say, a "modern" sleep.

You need : Rooted phone, 5G Plan, 5G Coverage.
STEP 1 : Install the module on magisk to activate VOLTE and reboot.
STEP 2 : Install Network Signal Guru on the Play Store.
STEP 3 : Click on the 3 dots, Forcing control, select your sim card.
STEP 4 : Click on NR SETTING, and select on Opt2(0x10) and Opt3(0x01) on the ENDC menu.
STEP 5 : Restart the phone, if you are on 5G coverage, it should be working for you.
If your carrier doesn't allow you to select 5G preferred network on settings, you might have to select "NR/LTE/GSM/WCDMA" under Preferred network on the hidden *#*#4636#*#*
Of course, you do it on your own risk.

It's beyond stupid that this brand new and undocumented menu was the key. I had previously played around with it and figured it was dangerous since it was difficult to revert.
As a note, T-Mobile US ENDC defaults to 0x11, using both 0x10 and 0x1.
Won't users also have to set NR/LTE/GSM/WCDMA in the hidden *#*#4636#*#* menu if their carrier doesn't allow preferred 5G in network settings?

Without knowing what 0x10 or 0x11 means, we're just guessing.
Overall, I'm not sure if this will enable 5G standalone in addition to NSA. That will definitely require carrier support at the very least.

I'm using my P6P A12 in Hungary Vodafone HU, I did this settings, but my P6P is only sometimes connecting to 5G network. Today I tried to connect to 5G in Budapest where 5G coverage is, but there was no permanent 5G connection, only in a few brief cases. Do you have any idea to solve this problem?
Has anyone live in Thailand and tested this method? Does it work well?.
Also, if I'm root, I still able to use banking app right-0-?

I don't have this issue here, maybe it's a coverage issue ? We should notice that as we don't have a specified carrier file for our carrier (Vodafone HU for you or RO for me), network optimisation can be worse than if we were in a supported country...

Banking app should be working with Zygisk and SafetyNet fix on magisk, you can follow the tuto under "Pass SafetyNet" on the link.
For Thaïland, no one tested yet.
