Sorry for my bad english
I had installed CWM custom recovery and I had rooted LG D-722 on android KK.
I downloaded zip file with Lineage OS nightly 14.1 from 2017-03-29 09, version from 2017-04-05 09 didn't work: error status 7.
I flashed the Lineage OS (before that I wiped data and I created backup)
The software was successfuly flashed but I didn't installed gapps (error: You don't have android 6.X.X).
I rebooted my LG and it stuck in boot with a error booting error boot certification verify. I flashed android KK by LG Flash Tool and phone is working.
My question: Where I made a mistake? How install the lineage OS for my phone?
Please help
Hey
First if all you need to be asure that your bootloader can boot android N or v7.
After flashing Lineage, you have to flasht the proper gapps. Before rebooting the device

Hi, I recently flashed an official CyanogenMod 14.1 Nightly. Shortly after that, TWRP Recovery was wiped from my phone (I would boot into recovery mode, the OnePlus logo would be visible for a while and the the screen would go black). I re-flashed TWRP again and then the stock Oxygen Recovery but the same kept happening. I eventually got into a bootloop trying to root my phone so I could use flashfire, so I tried flashing CyanogenMod Recovery. This one booted up perfectly, so I wiped system, data and ADB sideloaded Oxygen OS. I got an error, so I flashed an unofficial nightly via ADB sideload and booted to the system. I tried flashing TWRP again but the same keeps happening. Apparently CyanogenMod doesn't want you using anything other than Cyanogenmod.
Please Help!
UPDATE: I was able to ADB sideload Resurrection Remix (Nougat), but still can't flash TWRP (or any other recovery, or Oxygen OS)
I have recently built Lineage OS 14.1 for an unsupported device nobleltechn (Galaxy Note 5 SM-N9200). And while flashing the installation package generated by the build process, my device got stuck at about 80% progress. It says "Patching System Image Unconditionally" but nothing happens. I'm using the latest TWRP recovery, and I've also tried Lineage OS recovery, neither of them worked. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Hi,
This morning i tried to switch from Resurection remix to Fulmics,
- Upated to TWRP 3.1.1-0 with success
- Wiped dalvic/cache/data/system with success
- installed fulmics 7.6
got the message in twrp console : "starting aroma installer"
But my phone rebooted on Resurection Remix animated logo.
After that it showed me the "new android installation" screen (where you set your google account and all that stuff).
Tried the wipe/install a second time and got an infinite LG logo
I can still access TWRP.
I'm wondering if this have anything to do with the 21c baseband modem i had to install for resurection remix.
Any tips to solve this guys ?
Thanks.
Newest twrp does not work with aroma instaler.
Flash back older version 3.0.2
Thanks !
Flashed TWRP 3.0.2 and installed fulmics successfully.
[HELP] Get stuck in bootanimation &then only boot to TWRP after upgrade Magisk & TWRP
I have sucessfully rooted my phone but yesterday when i upgraded Magisk from 16.4 to 17.1 and then flashed lasted TWRP, my phone some how corrupted .
After that I tried to flash Factory Image and boot TWRP portable -> Flash ElementalX 2.05 -> Magisk 17.1 -> VerifiedBootSigner-v8 -> Reboot but my phone get stuck in bootanimation about 5 min and then reboot to recovery. Then it will always boot back to recovery when I reboot.
I have searched here but couldn't find any solution.
I tried to flash ElementalX and TWRP only and my phone booting normally. But anytime I flash Magisk it can't.
Please help me, I don't know what to do next, Thank you and sorry for my bad English. :crying:
I had the same issue as well. I think is is due to the latest TWRP update. I was running Magisk 17.1 with no issues, but once I tried installing the latest TWRP build, I was unable to boot. I even tried connecting to my computer and trying to boot using the boot.img from android. I am currently running the official release of android P. I ended up just doing basically a dirty flash of P over what was already installed to reset the bootloader, radio, etc. I'm going to just end up running the previous version of TWRP until the dev releases something that is confirmed to be stable.

What version of TWRP did you use?
I unlocked my bootloader yesterday and tried to install Lineage OS 18.1 custom rom. I was able to install it but I wanted gapps so I rebooted to my recovery. I am confused between the A/B partition system. I accidentally flashed TWRP on A and Lineage Recovery on B. I restored both of them to the original one. How do I install Lineage OS with Gaaps? Should I flash the Lineage OS zip on A (so that it is installed on B), change the slots and flash Gapps?
"fastboot boot <image_name>" just gets stuck on the androidone logo which is why iused "fastboot flash <image_name>.
install lineage os 18.1 and reboot to lineage os recovery from there flash gapps .dont do anything on twrp except flashing lineage os 18.1

Thanks. I figured it eventually. I installed OS on my b-slot and gapps + magisk on my a-slot.
