Hi guys,
I was trying to find out how to restore my phone because it's dead after receiving and installing the last firmware (Netherland PHN 4.4.2 stock ROM-there was no Custom ROM) by OTA. It was working for few days but after that my phone began restarting and finally it stopped work at all. I wasnt able to turn in on, charge it or simply connect to pc (PC didnt recognized driver - qhsusb_dload) there was no respond so it was completely dead.
I found some solution with debrick image here on forum, but when i putted debrick.img (found some for I9195 android 4.4.2 on web) into sd card via win32diskmanager and inserted it into my phone i was able to get some respond by a phone.
Withou debrick image on sd cart i can't turn my phone on at all but with inserted debrick image i have a chance to turn it on but with some kind of boot loop.
Boot loop:
BOOT RECOVERY MODE (Green row)
CHECK BOOT PARTITIONS.
COPY FROM T-FLASH.
BOOT RECOVERY..
WRITE 139008 sectors.
REBOOT
And it repeats all the time.
With SD Card PC can recognised samsung drivers for my phone but odin can't connect.
I dont know what i did once time but i get another message when odin was able to recognise it
BOOT RECOVERY MODE (Green row)
CHECK BOOT PARTITIONS.
COPY FROM T-FLASH.
BOOT RECOVERY..
WRITE 139008 sectors.
FLASH WRITE FAILURE (Red row)
ddi: mmc_read failed
ODIN MODE (Red row)
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9195
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
BOOTLOADER RP SWREV: 2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
But i'm not able to get into this anymore.
Last status is repetitive first bootloop and i cant get further.
I dont know what to do, to repair my phone or if its completely dead (mean eMMC fail).
Can someone help me with this issue or know some solution
Thanks in advance

Sounds like the emmc memory is dead. Try to use these debrick images that I had taken from my i9195 some time ago. Extract first. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_vlSjY0nNrkX001ZUs4ZUF6dXc/view?usp=sharing

I had the same issue, 2days ago (also so an Galaxy S4 mini).
I solved it by holding the 'volume down + home button' while connecting/disconnecting the phone to my/from laptop.
I have the same problem
When i put the sdcard with debrick image in my phone, It says:
BOOT RECOVERY MODE
CHECK BOOT PARTITONS..
COPY FROM T-FLASH..
BOOT RECOVERY..
WRITE 139008 sectors..
FLASH WRITE FAILURE
ddi : mmc_read failed
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9190
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
BOOTLOADER RP SWREV: 2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
And when i connect it to pc to flash by odin, it says "There is no pit partition"
When i put the pit file in odin, it says the same
What should i do?
Did you get it to work? I have the exact same problem with the same phone (GT-I9190) !!!!
my phone not boot , when I flash it with odin nothing happened just boot in recovery mode but without entry to recovery
Then I try with 4 files the result it's failed ( bootloader failed ) bootloader v1
Please if there's a solution or any thing to do or if there's bootloader ap swrev: 2 file to flash it
Imp: I can entry to download mode.
Sorry for bad English
Hi everybody,
I'm stuck in a pretty damn mess here. I have an Galaxy S20+ G985F device which is stuck in Download Mode with no ROM installed, a locked bootloader, and a changed recovery and vbmeta (one that came with a working TWRP image) image flashed. :/
Is thee any way to get out of this situation of which I don't know how exactly the phone got there? Seems like a mistakenly locked boot loader by long pressing the Vol Up button once in the Booloader Lock/Unlock menu.
When trying to flash with heimall the phone says, ie.:
Custom Binary (VBMETA) Blocked By OEM Lock
Any chance on recovering the device? There should actually no ROM be installed at the moment. Cannot boot anything, the device always goes into Download mode only showing an entry for "Vol Down + Side Key for 7 seconds: Cancel (restart phone)" which results in the device going to the screen again...
Flashing with "odin4" on Linux says:
odin4 -b BL_G985FXXU1ATD3_CL18335124_QB30559577_REV01_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 -a AP_G985FXXU1ATD3_CL18335124_QB30559577_REV01_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT_meta_OS10.tar.md5 -c CP_G985FXXU1ATCT_CP15511927_CL18335124_QB30141694_REV01_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 -s CSC_OMC_OXM_G985FOXM1ATD3_CL18335124_QB30559577_REV01_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5

And also you cannot turn off your phone? )
Prepare a recovery tar file with vbmeta and recovery in it. Flash with odin and reboot. Then disable encription.
Then redo the initial process of flashing tar file with or without the rest of the rom files.
If ur alao flashing rom files put your recovery tar file to others section in odin.
Hello everyone,
How do I resolve the message "MDM IS SET. Phone will be reboot 3 sec" and or "MDM MODE. CAN'T DOWNLOD [2] eMMC write fail: SBL1".
I have a device samsung galalxy A6+ (SM-a605GN) in a loop showing the message "MDM IS SET. Phone will be reboot 3 sec", I can't get into recovery mode or hard reset, I can only access download mode. However, I can't install a new rom via odin (stock or custom, I tried several versions of binary and odin), how do I solve or what would be "MDM MODE. CAN'T DOWNLOD [2] eMMC write fail: SBL1" or would it have some other way to fix without odin
You're in the wrong forum buddy.
