I'm not sure why you want to do this, but do a search for changing DPI. There are a few threads and tutorials here on XDA.

Well, it has nothing to do with high performance mode. But only the max frequencies of the little cluster are shown actually. This is due to Selinux security changes in Android 7. Change Selinux to permissive and the big cluster frequencies should be shown as well :good:

Doesn't that defeat the object?
Having it on Max (as it originally was) would make no change at all.
Idea is to slow the processor down in certain circumstances and help reduce power and battery drainage.

Undervolt reduces power usage, not underclock.
Non-sense roms can be overclocked but you have to set it. Ie set it to Max.
whats this about using a text file on the memory card to make it run better?

Yes, it will make your battery last longer. I use "CPU tuner" (free) to set my processor to 246MHz all the time (using the "Extreme Save Battery" governor).
I also use "AutomateIt" (also free) to disable mobile data and disable sync when the screen turns off, and re-enable them when the screen comes on.

be careful and don´t go under 100 mhz because can be possible that your DHD don´t has strong enough to exit of the standby mode!
I use a modified CM7.1 and at 122-244 it works pretty smoth and fast....I could get used with it...and on quadrant i get around 600
Hi,
i did undervolt for the CPU and the GPU, but i have a question, on Stweak, we can put the mini frequency of the GPU at 54mhz or 108mhz.
On stock, it is set on 160mhz, anyone tried to set to 108mhz or 54mhz in order increase the battery life ?
54mhz = 825mv (stock)
108mhz = 850mv
160mhz = 938mv (stock) and mine is 875mv
Should i try min at 108mhz and undervolt at 800mv ?
Thanks
I actually don't think there will be problems since the kernel is providing it..
I guess you should try them without setting on boot.. If you had no issues then you may set it on boot.. That's the easiest way to know weather it's good or bad

Hi, i turned back to 160mhz because i got some bootloops, i was affraid of SDS.
But indeed i could remember that i got a better battery life but not impressive... You can see this when screen is on, but i got some wakelock due to low frequency i think.
So battery drained faster in deep sleep while not when screen on.
You should try but be careful, you should put a file .zip which can be flashed in recovery mode to reset settings on the kernel, because if you want to put 54mhz you have to click on "enable on boot" on the kernel settings.
sorry for my bad english

[ Practical Guide ] the cpu and GPU locked! Daily fluid and energy saving
The cpu and GPU locked in a certain frequency power can be achieved not so serious and be fluent game approach.
The first machine to ROOT then RE Manager to set inside the file!
1 Open the SYS-Devices-system-CPU-cpu0-cpufreq-cpuinfo_block_freq , use a text editor to open, modify the value of 600,000 or 800,000 or 700,000 can which is locked cpu frequency, save and exit after completion of editing,
2 Locate scaling_cpu_lock_nun , a method using phase inside the 0 changed to 4 . It is locked cpu cores. Save and exit editing can! In power management policy settings in a super-power standby.
GPU in accordance with slim post to unlock ! But I set 480000 360000.
Heat is also not so great to play the game is very smooth! Power consumption is not serious enough for everyday use heat is also better!
I charge 100% after setting the screen brightness is not open to the minimum WIFI playing whitewater boats two effects 30 minutes of high power consumption 23% is power! But look at the beep beep miles 720 miles to see 24 minutes of animation power at about 7%! Several times hovering at about 7%.
After rebooting modify things will revert to re-edit

Nope. I frankly have no clue of all this.
In SYS-Devices-system-CPU-cpu0-cpufreq-cpuinfo_block_freq I have "zero", so I really shoulf change it to 600000?
Also I can't understand the phrase "Replace the file from the kernel to mount the The CPU / GPU frequency profile" from second method.
Not working at all!
For best performance in games. Go to root directory-sys-devices-system-cpu-cpu0-cpufreq/
1.Open file scaling_cpu_lock_num. Change value from 0 to 4. Save.
2. Open file scaling_ddr_block_freq. Change values from 0 to 450000. Save.
3. Open file scaling_gpu_block_freq. Change values from 0 to 480000. Save.
4. In power management set the power mode to normal.
5. Go to settings-application management. Open settings for your desired ( setting were you can chose to move application to sd card ) apk and select the performance mode.
This should help running games smooth. I tried it on nfs most wanted. The difference between stock B119 performance and this mod is huge. But I somehow think that this also has a big hit on battery life. Havent tested yet.
Hope this helps.

I don't know why, but this helps me to make NFS work better than stock settings:
1. Root
2. Install "No-frills CPU"
3. Set max CPU freq to 1Ghz /not 1.5Ghz/
4. Set governor to K3hotplug
ps - battery drain is lower when Governor is set to "Ondemand", but there is a little lag, which is not a problem when use the phone only for calls.

I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro - SM-J210F. How low can I set the frequency?
Currently it shows only 5 presets - 768 MHz, 900 MHz, 1200 MHz, 1350 MHz, 1500MHz
What is the best possible lowest processor frequency so that my phone does not reboot or freeze?
Also how can I enable hotspot in ultra power saver mode.
IMO the lowest network frequency setting depends on what network frequency band is used: GSM and/or HSDPA and/or LTE.

Only a false undervolting can lead to a freeze / reboot: the mentioned clock frequencies are stock ones hence none of these will lead to a freeze / reboot, means you can apply the lowest one what is 768 MHz.

I've already mentioned that it was a preset(the least one of the 5 you've mentioned). That itself is too bad and making it even lower will be like you're using a phone from previous century. So, don't decrease your processor frequency.
If you need a better battery life, I recommend you to debloat your UI and then keep and check on background running tasks from developer options in settings. Did you try checking the background processes(not the recent apps one)?

Only during that time, Android OS process spikes consumption.
