The cpu and GPU locked in a certain frequency power can be achieved not so serious and be fluent game approach.
The first machine to ROOT then RE Manager to set inside the file!
1 Open the SYS-Devices-system-CPU-cpu0-cpufreq-cpuinfo_block_freq , use a text editor to open, modify the value of 600,000 or 800,000 or 700,000 can which is locked cpu frequency, save and exit after completion of editing,
2 Locate scaling_cpu_lock_nun , a method using phase inside the 0 changed to 4 . It is locked cpu cores. Save and exit editing can! In power management policy settings in a super-power standby.
GPU in accordance with slim post to unlock ! But I set 480000 360000.
Heat is also not so great to play the game is very smooth! Power consumption is not serious enough for everyday use heat is also better!
I charge 100% after setting the screen brightness is not open to the minimum WIFI playing whitewater boats two effects 30 minutes of high power consumption 23% is power! But look at the beep beep miles 720 miles to see 24 minutes of animation power at about 7%! Several times hovering at about 7%.
After rebooting modify things will revert to re-edit

The translate is not best possible... I tried to change cpu_max_frequency (or something like this) from 150000 to more, but it will restore to 150000 right after i change the value. I also changed scaling_cpu_num to 4, but it just reduced my phone perfomance.

Nope. I frankly have no clue of all this.
In SYS-Devices-system-CPU-cpu0-cpufreq-cpuinfo_block_freq I have "zero", so I really shoulf change it to 600000?
Also I can't understand the phrase "Replace the file from the kernel to mount the The CPU / GPU frequency profile" from second method.
Not working at all!
For best performance in games. Go to root directory-sys-devices-system-cpu-cpu0-cpufreq/
1.Open file scaling_cpu_lock_num. Change value from 0 to 4. Save.
2. Open file scaling_ddr_block_freq. Change values from 0 to 450000. Save.
3. Open file scaling_gpu_block_freq. Change values from 0 to 480000. Save.
4. In power management set the power mode to normal.
5. Go to settings-application management. Open settings for your desired ( setting were you can chose to move application to sd card ) apk and select the performance mode.
This should help running games smooth. I tried it on nfs most wanted. The difference between stock B119 performance and this mod is huge. But I somehow think that this also has a big hit on battery life. Havent tested yet.
Hope this helps.

I don't know why, but this helps me to make NFS work better than stock settings:
1. Root
2. Install "No-frills CPU"
3. Set max CPU freq to 1Ghz /not 1.5Ghz/
4. Set governor to K3hotplug
ps - battery drain is lower when Governor is set to "Ondemand", but there is a little lag, which is not a problem when use the phone only for calls.

Doesn't work. I used FPS meter and in games it gives same result every time (with or without this setting). I think that it's visual effect of smoothing because the proccessor becomes hot slowly and lags appear later than usual.

After browsing here for quite a while, there are two things I see that aren't documented too much about our phones, and that is How to use the V6 Supercharger, and overclocking the ARM-Mali 400 (GPU). I shall discuss the latter first.
GPU OVERCLOCK:
To overclock the ARM-Mali 400, you will need a kernel that supports gpu clock control (Such as the LostKernel or Team Rouge's "Outlaw")
and a way to enter terminal commands (ADB, Terminal Emulator, SSH)
1. Load up ADB
2. Enter a shell
3. Type "cat /sys/devices/virtual/misc/gpu_clock_control/gpu_control" (Without the quotes)
4. This tell you the current clock speed, at a min and max. It should be 160 and 267
5. Type: "echo 267 310 >/sys/devices/virtual/misc/gpu_clock_control/gpu_control" (Without the quotes) [This changes the min to 267 and the max to 310]
6. Reboot
7. Enjoy!
-You can try other values, but I have not, so I would advise backing up before doing so-
{Thanks to chris41g at Android Central}
Next is using the V6 supercharger:
This is a longer procedure but worth it
You will need:
Busy Box (Version 1.8.2 ONLY) and V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-update9_beta_6.3.sh.pdf from (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=15948434#post15948434)
1. Go to market and install Script Manager
2. Rename V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-update9_beta_6.3.sh.pdf to V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-update9_beta_6.3.sh.txt
3. Open up Script Manager and navigate to where V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-update9_beta_6.3.sh.txt is on your phone
4. Click it and hit the button that has the root icon and hit run
6. Once it loads, it asks you for text scrolling speed, tap the screen to bring up the keyboard and enter 1,2,3 or 0 (I like 2)
7. It load up some more
8. There will be a prompt asking for options [1-27] enter: 9
9. Let it run
10. It will return you to the prompt when it's done
11. Now enter 26
12. The phone will reboot
13. Congrats, you have supercharged your phone!
{Thanks to zeppelinrox for his awesome script}
Have fun!
Very informative.

I don't understand why you'd want to overclock a phone if it doesn't have performance issues to begin with. As far as I've noticed, the GS2 has no trouble running anything. Why increase the power draw for no reason other than a higher benchmark score? On a desktop, overclocking can make sense since you don't have to worry about draining your battery, but the GS2 already has battery issues without increasing the voltage--so it seems kind of silly to be exacerbating that problem.
This isn't a criticism of people who enjoy overclocking, just a bemused observation.

I didn't mean to say that the GS2 had awful battery life, just that it wasn't a low power device where increasing the power draw wouldn't make a big difference.
Regardless, I understand that whether or not someone overclocks their phone comes down to personal preference. So if you want to overclock, more power to you.
anyone have any issues/benefits from the GPU overclock? just wondering if your mileage has varied.
Some emulators run better. Such as n64oid

Your ROM/kernel MUST support init.d scripts
How do you know if your kernel supports init.d scripts? There are a number of ways to check, but the best way is to ask the developer of that kernel. You can also check in the ROMofCHOICE.zip by navigating to /system/etc/init.d. If the original .zip of your ROM has an init.d folder with scripts in it, then you are good to go.
What is Lightning Zap!?
Lightning Zap! is a set of tweaks that I have written and compiled to make the LG Nitro Lightning fast, super smooth, and contain excellent battery life!
I have used these same tweaks on devices like the Samsung SGS4G, Samsung Captivate, Samsung Skyrocket, Samsung Blaze, Sony S Tab. I have also assisted others with adding Lightning Zap! to their devices such as the Nexus S and various HTC devices. They have been proven time and time again to add amazing improvements to all devices.
What's the difference in the various version I find of Lightning Zap! when I google it?
Simply put, all devices are setup, formatted and created differently.
What's included in Lightning Zap!:
Battery tweaks for awesome battery life
Governor tweaks for amazing speed and performance without sacrificing battery life
Kernel tweaks
Memory and Ram tweaks
Cleaner tweaks
Build.prop tweaks
Internet speed tweaks
and MORE!
I used ParanoidAndroid ROM to test these tweaks. Although I have used the tweaks from froyo to jellybean, the the mounts, on some devices, are sometimes different as well as some kernel differences on each android version. If you are using a different ROM, feel free to test and post your results in this thread.
Install instructions:
Make a backup and then backup your data with titanium or something alike
***Download link is at the bottom of this post***
Download Lightning Zap! v1.zip to pc (Can be downloaded to sdcard also)
Place Lightning Zap! v1.zip on sdcard
Flash
Allow phone to set for 10 minutes after reboot
Enjoy
Confirmed ROMs & kernels
This space is going to be used to track the ROMs and kernels people have tested and confirmed Lightning Zap! installs and functions correctly.
Gningerbread:
ICS:
Jellybean:
ParanoidAndroid
CM10
Miui 2.9.27
CodeNameAndroid
I'm also adding some helpful tips on how to test Lightning Zap! to get the most positive results.
Testing option 1:
After flashing Lightning Zap!, download SManager from the market, navigate to /system/etc/init.d
Press menu key/more/advanced options/mount /system as rw and click ok
Press on each script individually then a ui will come up
In the ui, tap the icon at the top that is a skull and cross bones (has SU under it) then tap run.
An output will be displayed. Note the output for errors and report errors to me. Please use pastebin.com to upload your outputs
Testing option 2:
Plug phone into pc, open a terminal/command prompt and type each command individually
adb shell
su
cd /system.etc.init.d
Now type the file name of each tweak individually, eg:
01governor
Now note each output that is displayed and look for errors
If errors exist, report errors to me. Please use pastebin.com.
There may be some errors that exist that are not true errors. I know what they are, but haven't noted them yet.
If you have failures, please get them to me as soon as you can so I can fix it
FYI, since I installed Lightning Zap! on my wife's Nitro, she is at 100% with light use at 4.5 hours... I know it is not a normal day for her as she uses her phone much more than what she is using it today, but this is just to give users an idea of how great my scripts are. Typically on my S2 Skyrocket I get about 30 hours under moderate use (many texts from my wife, 5-10 calls, 30-45 minutes of web browsing, etc.) on a single charge...
More improvements and tweaks
The governor tweak is set pretty high for performance. If you find yourself needing battery life over performance, you can make some minor changes. Here's how:
1 Download Script Manager from the market (it's free)
2 Open Script Manager and navigate to /system/etc/init.d
3 Press menu/more/advanced options and select mount as RW
4 Select 01governor and select "edit" at the top (this will open the file in atext editor)
5 Change:
Code:
echo "45" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold;
To:
Code:
echo "[COLOR=red]70[/COLOR]" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold;
6 Select menu/save
7 Press the skull and cross bones icon at the top (this will allow Super User)
8 Press run, close app and enjoy
This will result is slightly slower performance but higher battery life.
If you want even better battery life:
1 Following steps 1-4
2 Add a # at the begining of lines 11 to 19
3 Scroll to "pwoersaver" section
4 Remove the # at the begining of lines 28, 30-38 and 43
Code:
#AWAKE_GOVERNOR="ondemand"
#SLEEP_GOVERNOR="ondemand"
# echo "70" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold;
etc
Code:
AWAKE_GOVERNOR="powersaver"
#SLEEP_GOVERNOR="powersaver"
echo "20000" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate;
5 Follow steps 6-8 (no need to select super user icon if you already did)
This will result in lower performance, but ultimate battery life
When running in a higher performance mode (especially for gaming) you can disable powersave_bias by changing the 1 to a 0 like this:
Code:
echo "1" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/powersave_bias;
echo "[COLOR=red]0[/COLOR]" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/powersave_bias;
Powersave_bias only allows the CPU to peak for small increments at a time, and not allow the CPU to remain peaked even when the system calls for it. In gaming, that could result in choppy, laggy perofrmance and slow FPS..
Although it says not to in the script, you can change the sampling rate as well. Do not go below 50000. I left it at 57500 as I found this seems good setting for smooth scrolling and performance.
Code:
echo "[COLOR=Red]57500[/COLOR]" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate;
Always leave SLEEP_GOVERNOR="powersave" uncommented (no #) and do not uncomment any other SLEEP_GOVERNOR as this will keep ultimate battery save while screen is off.
Only change values in increments of 5 for the up_threshold.
I am not resposible if you do something wrong. Make a back up just in case.
Working on CM10 latest nightly. Noticing a slight speed up. Will keep an eye on battery and post back if I notice any notable changes. Thank you!!

Want to raise your scores even higher, refer to the second post but lower the up_threshold to 15. Of course this will take from your battery life, but it will seriously enhance your performance. You can also change powersave_bias, io_is_busy, down_differential, ignore_nice_load to "0" and play with sampling_rate a bit too... Keep in mind, the more you add performance, the less battery life you will have...

From my experience, when flashing tweaks, you want to reboot immediately after so they fully install. Same with ROMs, kernels and recoveries... Otherwise, you can cause gremlins to take over and corrupt your partitions...

Not true, but whatever. It's a minor point anyway.
I have some trick for hard gaming if you is a trully gamers
First. Use Disable CPU rendering+adrenaline™boost+unlimited™tweak in every rom. Go to setting and then developer option, enable force gpu rendering. If you're using CM9 Go to performance setting, disable surface dithering, enable 16bit transparency. Go to memory management, disable zram and disable allow purging of assets, enable kernel samepage merging(KSM). It will improve your phone.
Trick 1:
If youre using cm9b2 or other rom who based on cm9b2. You can flash adrenaline™engine+boost+KickAssKernelizer+disable cpu rendering. Use forfivo kernel and set to 1.5/1.6/1.7/1.8ghz(test one by one). Choose the clock who made your phone smooth and less lag while hard gaming. Set governor to brazillianwax/smartassv2/ondemandx/lagfree/performance. And dont forget to type 'su' enter and then type 'boost' in terminal emulator before gaming.
Trick 2:
For cm9b3 or other rom who based on cm9b3. I think its no need much script or tweak. Because, its have some bionic tweak. But i have some improvement. Use custom kernel, i preffered to use castagnaIT oc version+adrenaline boost+disable cpu rendering. Set governor to lagfree/brazillianwax/ondemandx/smartassv2/smoothass/performance. And dont forget again to type 'su' enter and type 'boost' before gaming
Trick 3:
For stock CM kernel. Use my conservative governor script+adrenaline engine+adrenaline boost+disable cpu rendering.
Trick 4:
For GB. Use v6 supercharge latest version, set to superUL. And use loopy smoothness, ive not tried this combo. But, some people say this trick will improve your phone performance. And then u can use cow oc kernel, set governor to ondemandx/smartassv2/performance. If you want you can use adrenaline boost
Trick 5:
If you want to play any game without lag or perfect. Try to take your phone, put on your side, and play PS3, i promise you can't see any lag while gaming. Lol
---NEW TRICK---
TRICK 1;
Use Seeder.zip and combine with kernel by hadidjapri, its have a great perform. Set clock to 368mhz-1.0/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4ghz, and set governors "smartassv2" or "lulzactive" with zen/sio/cfq scheduler.
TRICK 2;
flash seeder.zip! Andd combine with some tweak from pimp my rom;
-Open PMR, go to Dalvik VM Tab
-Change the 'Flags' to v=n(None) o=v(verified only) m=y(yes), Apply!
-Next, turn on the Just-In-Time Compiler
-Go to Kernel Tab
-Apply disable i/o stats and scheduler sysctl tweak
-Go to Android Features
-Turn on Hardware acceleration
-Go to Miscellaneous tweak
-Apply Zipalign
-And then swap your ram
TRICK 3;
Use SeederV7.zip! Combine with the latest version of RTMixManager.
Install all the tweak. After all, go to system/etc/usrsetting then edit VALUE 6 to 2, and VALUE 10 to 0. Finish.
TRICK 4;
Use seederV7.zip! Download Titanium Backup from here (old version). Download sysctl config pro on blapkmarket.cz or blackmart app.
**Odex with TB
-open app
-click menu button
-choose integrate sys dalvik into rom.
-finish
Check using root explorer, go to /system/app. If it work, you will see .odex file on every app
**Open sysctl app, then set;
-dirty ratio = 30
-dirty background ratio = 15
-vfs cache pressure = 50
Next, click advanced. On key bar type this;
1. Type "kernel.sched_latency_ns". Set the value 600000. Click apply
2. Type "kernel.sched_min_granularity_ns". Set the value 400000. Click apply
3. Type "kernel.sched_wakeup_granularity_ns". Set the value 100000. Click apply
4. Type "kernel.sched_features". Set the value 24188. Click apply
5. Finish
**WARNING**
Make sure you are using a kernel that use CFS scheduler (Not CFQ!! Its IO scheduler!! CFS is Complete Fair Scheduler. It is kernel scheduler)
TRICK 5
I recommend you all to use hurtsky kernel. Download SManager, Crossbreeder and this Universal Odex Script . Step by step;
-Flash crossbreeder via cwm
-Open SManager. Go to /etc/crossbreeder.
-Disable all script in there, except "disable crossbreeder"
-Enable Governor Tweak
-Flash Universal Odex Script via cwm
-After reboot, open terminal emulator.
-Type su. Then enter. Type dexo
-There will be appear seven option for odexing
-Choose one. I have been choosed "odex all rom" in term "dexo -all"
-Finish
TRICK 6
There's two option:
--Avcore by LENAROX Download +ram script
--Nx02engine by Pizza_dox Download +ram script
For applying avcore, copy the file to /system/xbin, set permission rwxrwxrwx. Then go to Terminal Emulator type su<enter>avc -h <enter> to see how to install the tweak. But, i recommend to you to set
Su <enter> avc -k -p200 <enter> avc -m -p190 <enter>
For applying nx02engine and ram script, just apply with smanager. Dont forget to set run as root for nxengine, run as root and boot for ram script. Leave nx engine to run in background.
Ram Script : https://db.tt/Ut8WVdtq (thanks to Lenarox for the help)

As long as i'm using it no problem with my phone. Just if you can don't frequently overclock your cpu (don't if you can) because it could damage the cpu.
The 1.4ghz is already enough for playing some hard games for me and i encounter no lags. If lag try to use tweaks or clear some ram before playing
Pressing "Thanks" button will be much appreciated if user's posts useful for you

Hi Everybody,
After v45 update, we all are facing huge drop in performance in our Redmi 1s.
One of my dear provided one patch by modifing some system files.
But that patch will yes revert back the performance BUT IT WILL ALSO BRING BACK THE OVERHEATING ISSUE.
So i am presenting you all with this patch.
It will restore your performance and also will control overheating.
NOTE: THIS MOD ONLY CONTROLS MAX CPU+GPU FREQUENCIES AT HIGHER BATTERY TEMPS. SO IT WONT HARM BATTERY PERFORMANCE AT ALL.
How to do:
NO ROOT IS NEEDED NOW.
JUST FLASH ZIPS EVEN THROUGH STOCK RECOVERY.
How to undo:
Just flash undo zip.
Download:
Updated in attachments as recovery flashable zips.
NOW IT CAN BE FLASHED THROUGH STOCK MIUI RECOVERY.
What have i done:
(1) somebody ask me to remove some of the line from the file but if we remove them our redmi will start overheating as it wont control the cpu.
So i have not removed them but i have set them to frequencies which will neither make phone overheat nor will hang it.
(2) file is patched with little help from my nexus.
(3) in the v45 update the cpu was limited to use less than 1ghz. It hangs the phone. So i changed it.
Now reboot and you device will go easy.
Please comment if you find any issue or suggestions.
A thanks will motivate me.
Also if you want to use my mod in any rom then plz give credits.

My Nexus
Update (17-11-14)
1. Removed density data from patch. Now only used cpu and gpu to control it.
2. Uploaded Hard Gaming, Power saving and Balanced patch for specific usage.
3. Cleaned and power saving based on original parameters.
What have i done :
Lets have a close look at the original \system\etc\thermal-engine-8226.conf file:
algo_type monitor
sensor batt_temp
sampling 1000
thresholds 380 390 420 500 550
thresholds_clr 370 380 400 450 500
actions cpu+hotplug_2+hotplug_3 cpu+hotplug_3 cpu+hotplug_3 cpu cpu
action_info 998400+1+0 998400+1 787200+1 600000 600000
In above lines, the sensor is batt_temp so here battery temperature is observed.
When the temperature of bettery reaches 380 (i.e. 38*C) then cpu+hotplug_2+hotplug_3 will be performed. Means cpu will clock at 998400 mhz and core2 will be hotpluged. Here your device will start hanging as 1.6 ghz cpu is asked to run at only 0.998 ghz with core2 hotpluged.
Similarly, at 390 (i.e. 39*C) core3 will also hotpluged.
35*C is normal temperature. But you will reach around 39-40*C even at light internet browsing/gaming.
At 42*C your cpu will die with only 0.787 ghz speed. This is less than half of 1.6 ghz.
Now what have i done is i have pushed the limits to little high level.
I have stopped hotplugging of cores and to low down the temp. i have used cpu & gpu both.
algo_type monitor
sensor batt_temp
sampling 1000
thresholds 390 410 420 450 550
thresholds_clr 380 400 410 440 500
actions cpu+gpu cpu+gpu cpu+gpu cpu+gpu cpu+gpu
action_info 1344000+450000000 1344000+320000000 1190400+320000000 787200+200000000 600000+200000000
Here at 39*C the cpu will go to 1.34 ghz but the gpu will remain at max of 450 mhz.
Then at 41*C the cpu will remain at 1.34 ghz but gpu will lower down to 320 mhz.
Likewise, at 420*C the cpu will go to 1.19 ghz and gpu will remain the same.
Above 45*C is too hot so the device is really needed to cool down. So above 45*C both cpu and gpu will lower down a lot for enough cooling.
Again when the temperature with lower down, you will start getting the normal speeds.
All the above information is also observed closely with the help of cpu-z apk.
is it really works ??????
why you didn't just simply configure the ondemand governor to do the same thing? Is more easy and can be done manually or using Trickster mod.
Thanks a ton for the patch but flashable zip file be a lot easier to install. So please make a flashable zip.

Ya but as per me if we have limited something in the thermal config file to behave at a specific battery temp. then we can not use any app or mod to change the cpu frequencies.. I have tried that also..
Also this mod controls cpu+gpu+dencity at specific battery temps...

I also had same questions so me and my friend have tested it with the help of cpu-z app...
Cpu-z app gives you details of your battery temp. and your current cpu clock speeds. Set governor to performance and start playing games like need for speed... Then in between checked the temp of the battery and the cpu clock speed ...
It really works it changes the frequencies as per specific temps...

Yo bro... Signed flashable zips are up... Also added undo zip to revert to stock.
This is what i am using ...
I prefer little more performance over heating...
Nice....now i can use the phone @1.6Ghz without heating !!
Beast Mode Unlocked
Thanks Man for this
In a sense. But you cannot run your cpu at 1.6ghz continuously for a very long time.. Every cpu will get overheat.
Here i have tried to make some balance between the performance and heat.
What miui did.. They just tried to limit us to use at 0.99 ghz when temp is above 38.c so i have pushed that limit to high level with help of other factors like gpu and density etc.
So simple you will not be limited if you go at a high limit of temp.. After that slowly slowly cpu gpu and density will be limited and cpu will cool down...

HI Ravindar,
Thanks for your post it is helpful.
I tried it. Given better improvement.
Ram performance better
No heating
But
Battery life poor
Can u rectify
Please
What to do to RAM management with thermal control guys??
It have nothing to do with ram dear its totally cpu+gpu+density hack...
Also, this hack comes into action when you overuse your cpu and it starts heating... But at normal usage it only improves your performance at no extra battery cost...
Simple there is no use of having 1.6 ghz if you are limited to use only 0.988 ghz over 38 degrees... I have extended this limit only... As this limit is manadatory for cooling process...
For hard gaming !!! Will be uploading in some minutes...

Mod for hard gaming is up... Plz check the op or attachment...
Redmi 1s Indian version has some worst heating problem. During gaming or video recording the external device temperature gets to around 45-50 degree Celsius which makes it difficult to even hold the device and is also dangerous. The reason behind this is poor heat management and its a shame Xiaomi could not still fix it after many updates. They further made a mess with MIUI 5 v45 by killing the performance still having the heating issue.
After experimenting with the device for about one month, I noticed that hot plugging decreases the battery backup and performance. It consumes more current for low performance. [Tested manually with 3C Cpu Manager and Cpu Temp Apps.] So I concluded Cpu Performance, Battery Performance and Hotplugging should be used optimally to extract the maximum out of this device without any sacrifice.
It is possible to have Good Performance with almost No Heating by enabling the default qualcomm MP decision, Core Control and Thermal Driver and a modified thermal config.
We can fix this in two simple steps [Make sure you have root access]
First Fixing Heating Issue
Download Device Control App from Play Store
Open the app and grant root permissions
1. Go to Extras in the Performance menu and select Thermal Driver and enable Core Control and MSM-Thermal.
2. Now go to Cpu Setting in the menu and enable MPdecision.
3. Goto Preferences >> Reapply on boot and choose Cpu settings and Extras.
4. Close the app and go to Security App >> Permission >> Auto-start management >> Add auto-start apps and choose Device Control
Second Restoring Performance
Go to this Thread by ravinder0003and download either Balanced Config or Gaming Config
Flash it in recovery or extract the thermal-engine-8226.conf file and move to /system/etc manually (Don't forget the permissions).
Now your device can be used at its full potential without any heat issue
This will work almost in every kernel with qualcomm thermal drivers and is found to the most efficient way of fixing Redmi 1s Performance without affecting battery backup.
If the thermal-engine-8226.conf file is deleted once and rebooted in the past then heating issue will occur even after above settings- try after installing the firmware again through recovery.
Other Settings
Go to Extras >> Powersaving >> Power Scheduler >> 2 - Aggressive in Device control App. It forces the tasks into 2 cores and doesn't wake the other two cores for simpler tasks improves battery backup.
Set the CPU Maximum frequency to 1344Mhz using Device Control if you don't want any heat on the device and get maximum battery backup.
If you want to use the device while plugged in to mains while watching movies or use youtube set the CPU Maximum Frequency to 600Mhz or 998Mhz. [Its highly recommended not to use the device while charging via mains].
Heating Issue for Redmi 1s
I have two questions ?
1. Whether the phone has to be rooted.
2. Whether it will work for the latest update of MIUI V50 for Redmi 1s

As above thread asked.. Will this work on V50 on latest release of Stable MiUI ???
Sent from my HM 1SW using XDA Free mobile app
It should work fine for all the version. I lost the device and moved to android one. Rooting is required and warranty is not lost if rooted for XIAOMI device. Make a full backup using philz recovery and try it
Sorry for late and incomplete reply.
The Power scheduler which forces apps to use 2 comes always resets after some time to its default configuration. Any fix?
