Suggeste a best kernal pls
Theres only one right now. See my sig
Wrong.
Xceed compatible too.
Two at the moment, blu_spark is the only one I know for sure.
Can someone provide link for Xceed karnel?
AFAIK blu spark is the only one but since there are no sources out for this kernel, so use it at your own risk.

I've installed Marange ICS MIUI Rom and its very slow and buggy, I was wondering if installing a kernel could help? Now I know nothing of kernels and I tried searching on XDA but I can not understand any of the kernel related terminology or which one is compatible with this ROM?
IF anyone can give me a list of kernels I could try which are stable and make the ROM faster, I'd really appreciate it. Plus a link to how to install/flash kernels and the risk involved would help aswell. Thanks.
EDIT: Current Kernel according to "About Phone" is: [email protected] #1 Sunday May 27th.
MIUI Version: 2.8.20

I am using the tiamat kernel and that seems a lot better. Try it out.

First, I recommend you flash Elemental X in recoveries instead of GOO.IM amanger, download it from the developer's xda thread here, and flash it in recoveries.
Which AOKP are you using? The Official one in this thread which is the same as the on AOKP's own website? or the Unofficial one posted here on XDA?
The Official AOKP is currently based on CM CAF Kernel, which means you should use CAF ROM with it, ElementalX is not going to work with CM CAF based ROMs so if you are on this version of AOKP I would stay away from ElementalX for now.
The Unofficial AOKP is based on stock AOSP Kernel and work fine with ElementalX, If this is version you are on I would recommend you get Elemental X 1.8 Beta as other users have said it provides really good battery life.
Thank for the help but I have a few questions
What is the difference between installing in recoveries and goo.I'm
And would I want to install aokp first, then elementals or vice versa.
Would I have to completely uninstall too in order to not use it for the installation
I think I initially tried installing it in recovery mode but it couldn't see the target file
Hi everyone, I write this post because I would to know which is the best kernel for stability/battery life in one plus 3. I tried Elemental X months ago but I would also try Franco kernel which has a good reputation, what would you say?
Tell me about your experience
Thanks
There is no 'best' kernel... I found Render and Xceed to be really good while they are quite underrated.
This thread was here several times. Stop posting same threads over and over again...
And there is no best kernel. You chose a kernel based on your personal preferences, so nobody can recommend you any kernel because nobody knows what you expect from a kernel.
I flashed latest version of Franco kernel and battery life is really improved. I am in OOS 4.1.3.
Resurrection Remix + ElementalX Kernel + AKT 1.4.1 = good configuration, very good autonomy (according to the regalges)
One day i will try it, I just wanted to keep stock ROM, I also uncrypted it so I can use multirom if I would.
Hey devs.
Will anyone build a kernel for N7100 nougat?
Since we dont have any custom kernel available currently. Void is outdated and dev is not updating it.And Agni is not working on N.If anyone will build a kernel it would be very helpful
Or at least guild me to build one
Cheers
i wanted to start a discussion about kernels since i dont see too many threads on them. ive been looking for a good one to install as im not liking the current kernel too much. i saw the boeffla kernel but its only available for the international variant. im using lineageOS 14.1
I use stock kernel with root.
