If I haven't reset, the battery will keep decrease until zero.
So I try to reset and afterward, it can charge again to 100%.
After use it to about 50% and charge it again, the battery keep decrease and I have to reset again.

battery use graph

Hello frnz
just shifted from wm to android so bit noob about android
is there any way to reset battery use graph without rooting mobile.
please also let me know does it get automatically resetted after any particular time
The battery stats and graph reset after plugging off the charger or rebooting the phone.
It resets when you disconnect the charger after a 100% charge.

Battery calibration

I just wiped battery stats. I let it drain fully, charged it fully. Unplugged for 5 secs and plugged back in light still charging for at least 30. I've on my third time. Just wondering if things are different with the incredible 2 battery. It didn't take this long with my eris. Basically, my phone has turned to fully charged within in 30 seconds or sooner. Wondering if i'm doing something wrong.

On the Inc1 I would do as follows...
- Charge phone fully with bump charge
- While phone was bump charged and charger still plugged in, boot into Recovery and wipe stats
- Reboot into ROM and unplug cable and use the phone until it was completely drained, not even able to boot.
- Plugged in charger and turned on phone.
Thats all you should need to do. To be honest I dont feel battery recalibration is important anymore because after constantly wiping stats I noticed that battery wear doubled. If you are changing from ROM to ROM then the stats should automatically wipe themselves over time.
Just my two cents and my battery life is fantastic - without wiping
Okay, i was wondering because i've flashed 5 roms in the last week. I wasn't haven't bad battery life, just thought i might need too. Thanks
Calibrating your battery doesn't improve battery in any way. It merely seeks to reset how the battery reports it's usage to the OS, since over time with normal charge/discharge cycles, the battery stats adapt to the user and reporting accuracy is degraded slightly. It's good to do on a periodic basis to correct this.

[Q] ~4 hours battery life on standby after factory reset and new battery

Hi Guys,
Recently my USB charging port stopped working. I tried to clean the area and move the pin back up but nothing worked. I ordered 2 spare battery's and an external battery charger. At that point, I was getting 2-3 hours of battery life. Once I did a factory reset on my phone, I began to receive 4-5 hours of battery life, which was okay since I have 3 batteries. I've also ordered the part to fix the USB port.
My guess is that fixing the USB port won't solve the battery usage problem right? I've noticed that if I turn off my phone at 20% battery and turn it back in the morning, the phone is dead, as in battery is being used even when the phone is turned off, which is weird.
Is there any fix to this issue? What would be causing such battery depletion?
Thanks for the help!

how long has this been happening? new issue or recent.
try DLing disable service from play store. allows you to go into each app and turn things off thats running in background.
also, wakelock detector, lets you know whats draining your bat
If device is discharging quickly even when turned off, factory resets, kernels or other software tricks probably can't help. Replacing USB port however sounds useful. It may be damaged in a way that drains battery.

its been going on for a month now. The battery life has slowly gone down over the past few months but I don't exactly know when it became so drastic. What's bothering me though is that when I did a full factory reset and nothing was running on my phone, not even google apps only wifi and regular cellular data, I got ~4.5 hours. How does that happen on a new battery? That must be a hardware issue right?

Ah okay, so even if I'm not using the USB port currently, it could be linked to the battery drainage problem?

[Q] Problem with battery sensor

I have problem with battery sensor. My phone says that battery is charged in 50% and can't charge it more. When I check battery in different phone it's fullly charged.
When my phone is discharged, in second one is about 70% left.
What can I do to solve this problem? I tried wipe cache partition, factory reset and reflashing rom. Currently I'm running CM11-M12

Battery drain even when phone is switched off

Hi, I've been experiencing an issue with my a5 2017 for the past few days. The battery has been draining a little faster than usual. Battery drained 30% even when phone was properly switched off. Battery also discharges a lot when phone is idling. Need help! Thanks!!
I have the same issue. A fully charged battery will only last me 12hr52 minutes even with power saving mode on. I've Aleši tried the usual stuff - factory reset, clear cache etc but to no avail.
