Problem with uploading video on Insta, Messenger.. - ZenFone 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Few days ago I got ASUS Zenfone 2 ZE551ML 16GB/4GB and I today when I tried to upload a video (25secs) to Instagram Story I got instantly error. Then I tried to send it on messenger and I got the same error. This happened to me only once when uploading a video edited in Premiere Pro CC to Instagram and it didn't worked cuz that codec isn't compatible. But this video is recorded with my Zenfone 2, with stock camera. Does anyone know how to fix it ? Video size is about 65MB, and it length 25secs. That is FullHD quality, I have changed to HD quality and recorded test video - 25secs (24MB) and it still won't upload to Instagram Story. Now I tested recording directly in Instagram Story and that works fine, but Boomerang doesn't work - Error, retry.

That's normal. On Froyo you are able to record in 640x480 but on gingerbread not. Switch to Froyo
I asked to some devs but anyone can solve this problem. It's a pity!

[Q] 4K video uploads to Youtube not working

Not sure if this is an issue with the phone or Youtube, but I've uploaded two videos now testing the 4k footage but when I select the 4k option, it loads for a little while then switches to 480p
Anyone else had this problem?

But this one doesn't
Can you see this one? It was taken with my G3 and uploaded with my G3 and it showed as 4k when I watched it with my PC

Video Recording Problems on 4.4.4 and newer

Hi
I am having issues on all CM based ROMs
I have a Canadian Variant of this phone
My camera recording is not working correctly.
Recorded video looks interlaced. Like lines of pixels don't line up when things move if played back on the phone or on VLC player. On Windows media player video playback is choppy like frames are missing.
When sent through any sharing program (Watsapp, Facebook etc) recipient only sees black screen with sound.
When i upload video to Google back up or YouTube video playback is normal but quality seams diminished.
On TW based ROMs i don't have this issue.
Reading through the forums i found other people complaining about this but have failed to find a solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Its been bug that has been there for over a year, so dont get your hopes up.
Which roms have you tried that worked? Neither of the ones I have tested works.

Video is not rendering in any Application [Lineage OS 14.1] [Android 7.1]

Hi Team,
I have an issue on my phone. When I record any video using the in-built Camera App, the video is working perfectly fine. But When I try to upload it somewhere through any app (say, Instagram) I am getting the error says, Video can't be rendered. If I capture any video through Instagram or Snapchat, the video will not be proper. It has grains and lines and it will not be played or upload properly.
Help?

Video Recording Question

Hello everyone,
What app are you using to record videos? The stock camera app?
I just recently got the Redmi Note 8 Pro. I was using the Xiaomi Mix 2. One of the issues I had back then with the Mix 2 was video recording especially from the stock app so I downloaded Open Camera at that time. In the end, I stuck with recording videos at 1080p, 30fps. Videos range from 15 minute to 40 minute for sports. That's why I don't record at 4K because it breaks apart the video into 8 minute segments.
Last night, I recorded a video using the stock camera app at 1080p, 30fps... video seems average and more zoomed in? While I know the Open Camera app was more wide angle or something.
The camera by itself is impressive but not too sure about the video.
Any recommendations?
Open camera works good and you have many options.depends what you want.but most third apps have a problem recording videos on rn8pro.so maybe we need to be patient
