Hey All....I tried all versions of this app (LG camera Pro) on Froyo 2.2.2....And recorded 480p
Now i have 2.3.3 But Can't record 480p with any version.... Whats the prob??? I don't understand....!!!When i switch to 640x480 resolution it records the video but after recording its resolution changes to 320x240......
Also i recorded 480p with galaxy y....My gio is fine i tried it on another 1 but still same prob
That's normal. On Froyo you are able to record in 640x480 but on gingerbread not. Switch to Froyo
I asked to some devs but anyone can solve this problem. It's a pity!

Just wanted to check.
I see that the video camera settings have a HIGH setting, but I'm not sure this is 720p ?
Can anyone confirm yes or no that GB ROMS (CM7/Evervolv/OMFGB) do NOT have 720p capture ?
Hi I ve just installed gingervillain 2.3 on my desire and I'd like to know if there is any option of recording 720p video like the the stock rom. Also is there a way to focus by touch to the point I want just like in the stock rom ? Thanks.
With AOSP you won't get a camera app like the stock on. In the changelogs it doesn't mention about 720p recording but have a look in the camera app.
Unfortunately I ve checked every possible setting in camera app but no 720p setting. Is there any other camera app on the market tha offers 720p recording or is it locked by the rom ?
Try lgCamera from the market.
I just tried it and checked the 1280x720 video option but image froze upon recording and the output video was not playable. So I guess it has to do the rom itself. Should I try another rom ? Is any other, AOSP rom preferably, capable of recording 720p video and has generally better camera application? Thanks for your help so far.
Try to use different settings, not just changing the resolution. Try to switch between H.264/MP4 and bitrate, audio codec (this should be AAC) and see if works. People reported working 720p on AOSP ROMs with LGCamera, but you have to mess around with the settings.
guys and ladies
720p was working 100% on the official froyo rom right?
or was there issues also?
wondering why its not working on the 2.3.3 roms and wondering if it will be fixed with the official release?

I had some problems with sound.
It was always dissynchronized.
I think it happens because of MPEG-codec..
also fps was bad
even with change in ISO settings to 800
basically it tries to reduce noice by lowering Framerate.
that suck...too much motion blur and low quality video recording in the end
i loved my 30fps recording on nokia
I have the Leedroid 3.3.3 ROM on my HTC Desire, and when i try to record 720p in the mp4 format it does lag alot. However when i changed the file format to .3gp it seems to be working alot better now than it did on when it was set at .mp4.
Hello,
I'm facing the same issue as Shadowchaos mentionned in the thread dedicated to that rom.
He sais :
"hi,
Is that normal defy can only record with 15fps?
I 'm using ms2ginger3.0 rtm ,whatever 720p or 720×480 or vga,all recording shows 15fps (dynamic),settings are 30fps."
I use the stock camcoder app.
I can add that this issue also occures in QVGA and CIF resolutions.
It seems that the FPS is decreasing with time (first shot in 720p @ 19fps, last one in CIF @ 12fps...)
Same thing with LGcamcoder.
Does anyone have an answer for that?
Thank you and sorry for my bad english
By the way, I ve got a 16Gb class 4 sdcard by Transcend.
Use Wajkiui
I used that MS3Ginger rom, but FPS are limited to 15,but u can record up to 1280x720. While Wajkiui rom u can record full screen resolution with 24fps.
It's being some time since 1080p 60fps video recording was broken on Xiaomi.eu rom. Brightness is way too low and sometimes motion gets laggy I think. Other resolutions work fine including1080p 30fps. Is there anyone else having the same issue on this or any other rom? Any solutions?
