I switched from CM 6.0.1 back to Stock ROM and now completely unable to connect to wifi services. The network show up but it keeps say "saved".
Can anyone please upload a zip from their stock "\etc\wifi"? Some forum said it will have all the information needed for wifi in there.

Last night I tried flashing cynogenMod 10.1.3 on my stock 4.1.2 Note 2. I followed their instructions, and everything went well but the Wi-Fi never connected to my router. It stayed saying connecting... then network saved. The password was correct. I restored my backed up ROM and on it the Wi-Fi was working. I flashed the cynogenMod Nightlies 10.2 and the same problem was there. I downloaded a stock ROM and flashed with Odion, and the Wi-Fi worked. I flashed Ressurection Remix ROM and on it as well the Wi-Fi didn't work. I tried a few non touchwiz ROMs and all of them the Wi-Fi didn't work, it only works on stock ROMs and TW based ROMs. Is there a way to know more about the cause of this issue? Did other experience such an issue as mine?
I would be greatly obliged if anyone can offer me help.
I have tried many custom roms of every type and build, never had any issue with wifi
perhaps you can try to setup static ip address on the connection instead of DHCP, see if that helps, or try installing something like wifi manager from the store, and use it to connect, see if it gives any more info ?

I need help I am on CM 10.2 and my signal is low since I flashed the ROM and WiFi doesn't connect at all and data works but soon as i go to the play store it says no connection. In have tried different ROMs and I have the same problem. Carbonrom I can access play store but if I try and install anything it says error. I am thinking its the modem I'm using madmacks modem on cm 10.2. Any help be much appreciated. I am afraid I will need to go back to stock and I'm not if that's going to help....
Update... Really now its just WiFi not connecting. Is there any way to just flash some type of WiFi driver? Or does anyone know of a WiFi fix?

I may not be the only one having this problem as i've had reports of this happening on the fakejap thread. Basically my wifi fails to connect to my home network after flashing a 4.3 custom rom (Fakejap, Phoenix, DN3). It does however work when i flashed the stock MK4 rom.
Not sure if i may have done something wrong and odin broke something during the bootloader update or the wifi patch.

I have tried everything!... My Wifi only connects if im literally right beside it... I've flashed the mk4 rom with wifi fix, and it won't connect.. Ive went back to bone stock, still wont connect... I don't know what else to do... i use to be able to walk around the house, and be on wifi with no problem... Now i can't do so since installing the mk4 wifi fix!!! Please help!!!! any suggestions would help! Thanks
If the "back to stock reset counter" zip doesn't work, I think it's time to visit the Sprint store sadly. Keep us updated if you do find a fix tho.

I went back to stock using LGPNST and the Wifi worked, then back to CM11 nightly and the same problem
I think I need that file mmcblk0p18 to resotre it but I don't know how id anyone can upload the file from his phone would be glad
any other suggestions? please help
everything else seems to work fine (3G and other connectivity)
UPDATE: I tried another ROM Pac-man but same problem (I guess it's because AOSP)
