I need help I am on CM 10.2 and my signal is low since I flashed the ROM and WiFi doesn't connect at all and data works but soon as i go to the play store it says no connection. In have tried different ROMs and I have the same problem. Carbonrom I can access play store but if I try and install anything it says error. I am thinking its the modem I'm using madmacks modem on cm 10.2. Any help be much appreciated. I am afraid I will need to go back to stock and I'm not if that's going to help....
Update... Really now its just WiFi not connecting. Is there any way to just flash some type of WiFi driver? Or does anyone know of a WiFi fix?

I flashed jelly bean on my google playstore GNex. since then the wifi performance has diminished. my laptop, ipad, printer and tv, all in the same room have full 5 sticks of connectivity whereas my nexus randomly changes between 1-3 sticks and sometimes drops for no reason. i have flashed the verizon wifi fix posted earlier but the problem seems to have worsend a little. it was fine when i was on 4.0.4. can someone suggest a fix or give me a flashable file of 4.0.4 wifi radiofiles? Any help would be resoundingly appreciated. thanks a lot in advance.
wifi "radio files" are within the kernel.
try franco kernel r210 or trinity's jb kernel

I have the same issue with weaker WiFi signal. I would rather stay on the stock kernel for now so any help would be appreciated.

@krnchicken753: cant complain when the 'possible fix' is there but you aren't willing to try it. you could always go back to ics which is more stable.
I am not sure what's going on... Wifi and Google play work perfectly on stock ROM but soon as I flash any ROM WiFi and Google play does not work... I can see wifi connections but can't connect and play says no connection. I get mobile data fine... This is really screwing with me @oblikas just came out with a 4.4 ROM and I can't even use it because of this issue please help anyone I'm begging you...

Had the same issue. I've only seen one other person mention it. Neither of us ever found the solution. Back to stock, unfortunately. Let me know if anyone figures it out.
Hey, I was able to get it working with the latest nightly CM build. The way I did it was to do a dirty flash on top of the LG stock Rom and then do a Data/Cache Reset. Now I'm not sure if it's been fixed in the CM build itself or if it was the dirty flash, but it's been running great so far.
I have tried everything!... My Wifi only connects if im literally right beside it... I've flashed the mk4 rom with wifi fix, and it won't connect.. Ive went back to bone stock, still wont connect... I don't know what else to do... i use to be able to walk around the house, and be on wifi with no problem... Now i can't do so since installing the mk4 wifi fix!!! Please help!!!! any suggestions would help! Thanks
If the "back to stock reset counter" zip doesn't work, I think it's time to visit the Sprint store sadly. Keep us updated if you do find a fix tho.
Hey guys, need some help. Ever since I have used KitKat roms, my data has not been working properly. It would say that I am on 4g but when using any app that needs internet service, it would say that I am offline and not connected to the internet. I have used CM11 monthlys and am currently on Paranoid android RC2 with the latest Gapps. If I toggle airplane mode, I do get data but can lose it at anytime. This has been frustrating. Is this a problem with the ROM or the phone itself?
I switched from CM 6.0.1 back to Stock ROM and now completely unable to connect to wifi services. The network show up but it keeps say "saved".
Can anyone please upload a zip from their stock "\etc\wifi"? Some forum said it will have all the information needed for wifi in there.
