Hey guys. I have a Verizon LG G3 running Resurrection Remix Nougat 7.1.1_r9 Nightly build. Before I was running this ROM I was running CM12 and then one day my phone said no sim card detected. I went back to stock and updated and I still had the same issue. I am now on Resurrection and my phone was fixed for a little bit. Then it stopped working. Then it worked. Now it has stopped again and only came on once yesterday randomly when my wifi wouldn't connect (I restarted my phone). I have tried just about everything I could. I got a new sim card from Verizon, I cleaned the sim tray and did not notice any damage to the tray (all pins are in contact). I'm at a brick wall right now and could use some help. Thanks!
I have the same issue with my LG g3 vs985 . With the same rom also . When I press on cellular networks in settings, it says that "com.android.phone has stopped " . I've cleared cache and data of com.android.phone app and it still the same problem. I need help . Thanks .

Exact same thing happened to me. I just got a new battery and re-flashed the 35b bootstack and modem and still, nothing.

It would be better to flash this custom rom ; it's working perfectly ; just wait a moment until it recognise the sim card ; this Cr droid rom is based on android 7.1 and it comes also with night light . Now , the problem is solved for me !! :good:
go to the " androidfilehost " website and search for this " crDroidAndroid-7.1-20161029-vs985 " then download the zip file

I have a weird issue with my vs985 it takes too much time to boot up.. some time it boots and some time it does not boot.. i had to pull out battery fot 20 or more minutes .. i dony know either its software are hardware issue . may be some one experienced this issue .. is there anyone who know about this issue .. i need help...

I bought a few weeks ago from amazon this phone: LG G4 H815 5.5-Inch Factory Unlocked Smartphone (Metallic Gold) - International Stock (No Warranty)
I know it says no warranty but I have to try. The thing is that yesterday, out of nowhere, the camera stopped working. Whenever I open the app it shows the buttons but the screen remains black. After a couple of minutes it shows the message "Cannot connect to camera".
I tried the following without success:
-Stopping the app and clearing the cache and data
-Rebooting in safe mode
-Disabling Nuplayer in the developer options
-Factory reset
Please help.

I flashed it to 5.1 h811 10n (mine is the t mobil version) via LG UP , the problem persisted . the same day i got an OTA update to MM 6.0, same problem dialer and camera don't work . I guess it's a hardware problem ; maybe the motherboard it has the infamous 506xxxxxx s/n

mines h811 too.. well its not the infamos MB hardware failure.. as that will not boot phone... i suggest to get it repair. where did you get it..? as i see you from another country.. did you flash refurbished i=option??
I got the same issue and had to take it to service center to get it repaired. Since mine was under warranty the repair was done for free. I was told they replaced the board.

Hi everyone
i have an lg g3 d855 EU working just fine for 1 year and a half ,
And lately when i upgrade to Marshmallow and then i stated flashing a different custom roms and they all work fine!
But a week ago I got a strange problem! A sudden msg appear for few second and then phone keep rebooting:
“Mobile network will be unavailable until you restart with a valid sim card”
I’ve done a lot of research and tried them all but still the same probe:
-put a piece of paper on the top of the sim cad
-replace the sim card
- Factory reset
-flashed android 5 the original kdz file got from official lg firmware using my IMEI
-....
So I decided to get it to a technician!
-so he replaced the sim card reader with a new one! After that the phone went just fine for 4 days and then the problem come back, so I get it back to him, so he replaced the reader with second new one and he told me that the reader is not the problem and is 100% working so when I put the sim card and reboot it ask me for "pin code" but when I after put the pin code, the phone keep searching for signal for few second than it stay no service at all.
the technician sad that there is some file in lg g3 responsible for the service detection and stuff like that only be obtained from another working lg g3 and only solution is that he can get those fil from a working lg g3 and put it into my phone and he told me it will be working again for sure !
So please guys help me I’m stuck !! Is there anyone know something about these files or their names?? And if he can provide me them I’ll be so grateful. :good:
Haven't seen this problem before. A file issue? Perhaps do another complete factory reset then do a complete wipe flash of the global rom, using the LG flash tool. Get the rom here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/lg-g3-android-marshmallow-discussions-t3216143
I use that rom so there shouldn't be any issues. Hope this helps

Have u tried flashing the modem ??? Thats the file u need for ur model u can flash it via twrp recovery... Also try flashing any custom modems of ur model since MM doesnt work

i was using 4.1.2 android with no issue with signal at all
then i updated using recovery tool and install android 6 , CM 13 Unofficial geehrc v1 and gapps-600 all was working fine on phone after a month android crashed when i was booting it only logo appears and continue to load and load
so i tryed every thing to reinstall old version it using recovery tool and it installed back successfully but it also crash after 2 , 3 min it was very strange behavior , then i went to shop for repair and they flashed with android 4.4.1 kitkat but now problem is no IMEI number and network service is disabled so i just want to get network service back either with reinstalling rom or by flash or any menthod that can recovery my service back so please help me to get network back , mobile is showing U+ sign in left corner i thing it is korian version software installed may be that is the reason,
also LG f180L version only support korian sim network according to my thinking , well any expert can give better solution on this thanks for understand my story above

You have to install flash stock 4.1.2 F180L KDZ again (yes! the korean one). Regarding IMEI/ No service, no one can help u if the EFS partition is lost (because that contains the phone info to be registered on the network).
The bootloop u had at CM13 has even easier fix than all of this KDZ mess. When I had my E975, The problem I had was no signal in CM12.1/CM12 so I had to resort to CM11. The F180's are so much falling into this crossflashing mess that its difficult to diagnose what can be the culprit.
Get the JB firmware flashed and check if u have imei.
I used to have signal normally but then i flashed marshmallow rom which screwed my phone in many ways one of them is the signal .. well as for now I have flashed back to stock kitkat d855 TWN and i tried flashing many modems to no avail ... i still have no signal what so ever other than that my phone functions normally - my IMIE matches the one on the box so I can't figure our how to fix it ? any tips?
*additional info* - at settings the mobile networks option is greyed out and the data icon at top(where u open or close 3g) is unuseable it got smth like that "/" on it and cant be turned on. .. my IMIE is correct and it shows .. currently I'm setting on kitkat 4.4.2 rooter with kingroot and have latest twrp ... I tried almost all the solutions on the website so any idea what shall I do ?

Well ofcourse .. but marshmallow seems to have screwed something with my phone the problem is that I flashed a wrong marshmallow rom I didn't flash the global one , I flashed one for lg d858 HK and that screwed my phone that I hardly repaired it (it was almost hard bricked) but now im back to stock still with no service though ...

Hello, I'm having problem with my zuk z2. I've had phone for more than a month and it worked fine. I flashed mokee rom and was working excellent. After one update it couldn't connect to network and phone was stuck in airplane mode. It's not showing that airplane mode is on, only when I press power button it says it's on, but nothing happend when pressed. It detects both sim cards but can't get registered on network. Also in secret menu (*#*#4636#*#*) shows Radio off and can't turn it on, or change anything in that menu. I changed a lot of custom and stock roms, with locked and unlocked bootloader, nothing solved the problem. When flash fresh rom it has network (not after every flash), but after some times it just gets disconnected. Please, help me. If someone have solved this problem or have any idea what problem could be.
Edit: I found out that my sim slots IMEI change places, IMEI1 goes to slot 2.

Same problem Here.... bought on banggood and after one month network signal disappeared. Today I've unlocked the bootloader and installed Mokee stable ( 13-4-2017) and Lineage 14.1 of 16-01-2017 .... nothing! Still not working.
I suppose it is a failed lot from ZUK delivered from banggood/gearbest/ali ...

I install the Z2plus_MIUI8_6.12.1_zukkati.zip ROM and recover the radios. I feel good!!!!!
Then I installed 2.5.334ST via Qfil, installed TWRP and install other ROMs and everything works fine.

I had this problem also one month ago, bricked the phone and endly I could it get working again with lingeage on it. Was working perfect.
Today the problem is there again.
When I start the phone without the simcard airplane mode is off (when I touched the power button) with the simcard in the phone it starts with airplane mode on.
Is there a possibility to disable airplane mode complete?
Anyone any idea?
This problem has been around for ages, and no apparent solution to it. Sent it back to warranty and it got flashed frm Custom ROM and back to stock ROM with same results. Useless. Dead.

I also had same problem tried all methods described here and in zukfans.eu, but failed. At last discharging(shorting) some capacitor related to network IC did the job.
