Hi everyone
i have an lg g3 d855 EU working just fine for 1 year and a half ,
And lately when i upgrade to Marshmallow and then i stated flashing a different custom roms and they all work fine!
But a week ago I got a strange problem! A sudden msg appear for few second and then phone keep rebooting:
“Mobile network will be unavailable until you restart with a valid sim card”
I’ve done a lot of research and tried them all but still the same probe:
-put a piece of paper on the top of the sim cad
-replace the sim card
- Factory reset
-flashed android 5 the original kdz file got from official lg firmware using my IMEI
-....
So I decided to get it to a technician!
-so he replaced the sim card reader with a new one! After that the phone went just fine for 4 days and then the problem come back, so I get it back to him, so he replaced the reader with second new one and he told me that the reader is not the problem and is 100% working so when I put the sim card and reboot it ask me for "pin code" but when I after put the pin code, the phone keep searching for signal for few second than it stay no service at all.
the technician sad that there is some file in lg g3 responsible for the service detection and stuff like that only be obtained from another working lg g3 and only solution is that he can get those fil from a working lg g3 and put it into my phone and he told me it will be working again for sure !
So please guys help me I’m stuck !! Is there anyone know something about these files or their names?? And if he can provide me them I’ll be so grateful. :good:
Haven't seen this problem before. A file issue? Perhaps do another complete factory reset then do a complete wipe flash of the global rom, using the LG flash tool. Get the rom here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/lg-g3-android-marshmallow-discussions-t3216143
I use that rom so there shouldn't be any issues. Hope this helps

HI all,
First post, go easy on me!
I've searched the forums trying to find the answer to this problem but have been unsuccessful. I successfully flashed my Galaxy W with slimbean 3.1.0 and had been using it successfully for over a month. I put it in airport mode to save battery, as I had done many times before, but this time when I turned it off the service never came back. I haven't had service since.
I have tested the SIM in another phone and it is working fine. I have also tried flashing a different ROM (CM10 Alpha 1) with no luck. I would reflash the phone with the stock firmware if there is any chance that would help, but I haven't been able to figure out how to do that via CWM. At this point I'm not exactly sure what to do. Is it possible that the this is a hardware issue?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes it´s possible it´s a hardware issue you got after a while.
First thing I would try is to flash back to stock ROM and see if this fixes your issue. (With Odin)
There is a guide about how to do that, but am sorry not to point you to it right now. Its 4am here righ now and I already am having difficulties to write correctly. (need to go to bed soon )
If this helps I would suggest to update the baseband and then to try again with CyanogenMod.
But if reflashing the stock ROM doesn´t help either, I would suggest to contact the Samsung Service Center.
By flashing back to the stock ROM make sure you are flashing the one used in your specific country, because in the first place it also inculdes the baseband used in your country and in the secound place it also inculdes the country code Samsung might look at while testing your phone.
In Germany for example most SGW´s were sold with it´s specific coutry code. But there were also a few sold with the county code for the whole EU.
So you must care about such things when flashing back to stock ROM. For fixing it the country code is not important. Only the baseband used in your region is important. But I case you need to contact the Samsung Service Center it will be important.
Hope this helps a bit. Now I really need to go to sleep.
Does your IMEI number still ok? Cause I lost my Efs folder with IMEI number some time ago, in another Galaxy fone i had.
you can check it in Settings / About fone / Status / IMEI
If you lost it, you will have no service, no matter what rom you try.
In this case, you can try to repair using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1308546 , not simple but saved my fone.
Hello
I have LG G3 the international version with installed stock rom 5.0,
Before I install it, I backed up the previous kitkat rom.. When I installed the lollipop stock rom I decided to go back to my previous kitkat rom. After restoring it and booted it everything was ok but it says no service, emergency calls only. And the signal at the status bar was refreshing every second automatically. I tried to return to that lollipop rom to see whether the signal is ok or no but there was no problem with it. But I dont know whats the probkem in that kitkat rom.... Plzzzz helpppp mee!!
I have the same problem! I used a custom lollipop rom and messed with something so I had to restore the stock Kitkat.
Now it keeps searching for the signal and says "no service" It found the signal for a few times but lost it immidiately.. Wifi works fine.
i would be rly thankful if somebody can fix this.

I have found a lot of threads and people reporting this issue. Bought a D855 32Gb from China that has this problem...
Phone tries to get signal a couple of seconds and then a cross.. and so on..
I tried everything I think, I passed for all the bricks the phone can do: Automatic Reboot / Boot Loop / Fast Boot / Security Error / Factory Reset Status 2 / Dead (QHSUSB_DLOAD) - I can help anyone that has any of those problems : )
In one of the flashes my phone turned to D855RE, similar case to other people, also the message "Current version is not available for user. Can't find matched cust for NT-Code mcc/mnc".
Please if anyone was able to fix the problem report here, there is a lot of people waiting for the answer 20 threads in different networks, I will post the solution in each of those. Thanks!

HI. i tried to change to several radio but I still don't have a signal. I just can't find the thread from other site, that it could be a D850 not an D855 motherboard. He tried to change the ROM to D850 and finally got a signal.
I have the same problem, any help is welcomed.

If you can, return the phone. As previous post suggested, its a popular thing from some chinese sellers to change the model. You will see the original model in your motherboard (you have to disassemble the phone) and have to flash the proper stock image. First confirm that the model is the model you ordered.

The phone was okay, this started happening when I flashed stock Marshmallow, then I flashed MIUI KitKat rom to see if its the the marshmallow that does that only, but it was on MIUI as well, after that I flashed Fulmics, but still the same. Now I'm on stock Marshmallow and it's doing it as well. I found a little "thing", when you set the network type to WCDMA/GSM there is no more no service, everything works. But when you put LTE it goes down.
If you suspect this can be the case of model tempering by seller, open your phone and unscrew the upper plastic cover, at the right you will see the Motherboard factory code with the phone model in it. Youll have to flash an according complete stock with flash tool.

and from where i can find japanese version of lg g3 sock firmware?
Hi there developers. First of all sorry for my so bad bad ENGLISH.
So I have purchased a used LG G3 F400k Korean Variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB ROM. When I first used the phone it runs stock lollipop and all seems working fine, not to mention it's Battery life and heating issue. Until then I got boring with its stock Rom, I rooted it and installed a Bumped TWRP via Flashify. The Flashify says I am installing a recovery that can replace my boot, but I still flashed it. It was succesful as it directly boot me into TWRP. Now when I tried to reboot it gives me an error boot like that and an infinite black screen with disco light led notification. I have no memory card yet and so I get my laptop and searched for its solution here on XDA. I flashed it using unofficial lg flash tool with 2 files such as ott and I forgot the other one. It was succesful an I reverted back to stock kitkat. And now the problem I faced is I CAN NO LONGER RECEIVE CALLS but I can make an outgoing call and it takes too long to ring when I am dialing and my network here has a menu when accessing *100# but it always failed and it gave me an invalid mme code or connection problem. I then flashed a twrp back and before I did that I have already downloaded the Fulmics Rom and flashed it through TWRP, thinking of the problem is by the rom itself. It was succesfull again. But then again my problem didn't solve by flashing another Rom.. And now I don't know what to do my imei is still here but still I have this problem. Would be appreciated if anyone would just reply to my thread and provide me some idea
Sorry I can't provide you screenshots coz I can't upload due to restrictions to a new members.
My Internet is so good. It's fast. Its LTE. I also turned off the VOLTE calling and Call forwarding or call rejecting. But still, my family is having problem contacting me because their call is directing to my Voice Mailbox. I tried putting my sim card in other phone and it's fine. I tried putting different SIM card to my phone and still facing the same issue. I think it's a hardware problem? Please help me.! I haven't tried bringing this to shop coz it's very expensive and thinking of someone could help me here instead. Please HELP!
Hello, I'm having problem with my zuk z2. I've had phone for more than a month and it worked fine. I flashed mokee rom and was working excellent. After one update it couldn't connect to network and phone was stuck in airplane mode. It's not showing that airplane mode is on, only when I press power button it says it's on, but nothing happend when pressed. It detects both sim cards but can't get registered on network. Also in secret menu (*#*#4636#*#*) shows Radio off and can't turn it on, or change anything in that menu. I changed a lot of custom and stock roms, with locked and unlocked bootloader, nothing solved the problem. When flash fresh rom it has network (not after every flash), but after some times it just gets disconnected. Please, help me. If someone have solved this problem or have any idea what problem could be.
Edit: I found out that my sim slots IMEI change places, IMEI1 goes to slot 2.
i got the same problem
Same problem here with offician Indian ZUI
damn.. i thought this happened only with china rom.
didn't know it got same issue here.
Same problem
Same problem here. 2.0.133 ST official indian ROM. Any news about this problem?
I have the same issue running Slim 6 on zuk z2
i installed mokee os and the signal comeback again but actually not worked
Yes, I also installed mokee nightly 4/22 and its been working great. Signal is back
me too
Same problem Here.... bought on banggood and after one month network signal disappeared. Today I've unlocked the bootloader and installed Mokee stable ( 13-4-2017) and Lineage 14.1 of 16-01-2017 .... nothing! Still not working.
I suppose it is a failed lot from ZUK delivered from banggood/gearbest/ali ...
I've just wrote an email to zuk support in order to complain about it ...
Yes, because, right now I cannot send back in china at my expenses the equipment and pay for a substitution with another defective terminal.
I've just asked them hoto behave....
I suppose we need to start a class action like the one against samsung for S7 note
However, I'm very disappointed, 1 month and it was looking like a wonderful terminal ...fooooook.
Same problem here. Anybody please share the QCN backup (or valid link to download this) to try repair QCN and IMEIS ?
Same problem here:
I tested different roms and different baseband-versions still no network.
Edit: I also tried flashing it via an external tool - still does not work
http://www.androidbrick.com/zuk-z2-z2-pro-qpst-qfil-miflash-rom-flashing-guide/
I install the Z2plus_MIUI8_6.12.1_zukkati.zip ROM and recover the radios. I feel good!!!!!
Then I installed 2.5.334ST via Qfil, installed TWRP and install other ROMs and everything works fine.
Any Luck guys? Please help if anyone manage to resolve this issue.
Thank you!
Same with me
I had this problem also one month ago, bricked the phone and endly I could it get working again with lingeage on it. Was working perfect.
Today the problem is there again.
When I start the phone without the simcard airplane mode is off (when I touched the power button) with the simcard in the phone it starts with airplane mode on.
Is there a possibility to disable airplane mode complete?
Anyone any idea?
This problem has been around for ages, and no apparent solution to it. Sent it back to warranty and it got flashed frm Custom ROM and back to stock ROM with same results. Useless. Dead.
Got a partial refund instead .
Guys there is any solution?? I have this problem with my Zuk Z2.. Plz help me
Problem Solved
I also had same problem tried all methods described here and in zukfans.eu, but failed. At last discharging(shorting) some capacitor related to network IC did the job.

Hi everyone,
After my attempt to flash custom ROM to my RN8P, my device can't recognize my SIM card no more, before that it was working just fine.
The SIM card itself seems to be working just fine (chcecked on other device), it's not a problem with a carrier either.
Since then I've tried: rebooting, turining airplane mode on and off, even switching SIM cards. Also tried to install some other custom ROMS, as well as Official MIUI - unforunatelly without any success.
Has anyone faced similar problem?
I'd be glad for any ideas of yours on how to fix it

Last month I've also faced the same issue with my rn8p like my whole nvram+ nvdata was encrypted (both imei were gone) while rooting my device in PE rom.
I did try a lot, like for 4-6 days but eventually ended up doing this:
I gone to mi care center, and before going I already had locked my bootloader so they could not understand that I have done something which will void my warranty also I closed my developer options. Basically I told them this crap has happened with me while updating to miui12 by normal method and asked for help. They kept my device for about 4-5 hrs and my all nvram nvdata was restored.
(Please don't go for flashing eng rom method it will erase your 2nd sim imei permanently.)
I hope this would help, just give it a try and thank me later
