[Q] unfortunately, bluetooth has stopped

I have d855 and there is an error which appears 10 times during the day. It says: unfortunately bluetooth has stopped. It doesnt matter if the blutooth is on/off When it happens. I did a factory reset but it keep on going. what should I do?

Are you rooted? If you are did you disable anything that could have caused this?

But I can see now that this error appears mostly after i installing some app from the market. It doesnt matter which app.

mine has started to develop this too...didnt do anything out of the ordinary...and I cant for the life of me fix the thing..funny thing is, the message comes up even when bluetooth is switched off..

Anything? Read somewhere its a common problem with the g3 and lg knows about it

I'm not sure to be honest I've never had that issue with my D850 or F400S so I couldn't tell you. It could be a D855 issue.

Yeah might be.. I have the d855..i mean i can live with it..but its annoying as hell

I have a G3 d855, running v10i firmware. The phone is rooted.

Yeah, i think i had it for the last 3 firmwares...again, I read online that LG knows about this problem. However, no fix yet. If its common for all D855, than we should have more reporting it. But this thread has been fairly quiet

I re installed firmware via KDZ method. And I DID NOT restore my earlier LG Backup. Then the phone started working fine

no i have that isue on att d850 without root or with root

found a fix
i have the vs985 being a Verizon modal i used the Verizon update assistant it took some plugging and unplugging but once i got the mangier to recognize the device it downloaded the correct updated used for a week it worked now i was using the 4.2.2 OS and updated to the **5.0 or 5.1 **not sure will check and also downloaded the USB drivers from the lg web-sight

I have LG G3 the international version with installed stock rom 5.0,
Before I install it, I backed up the previous kitkat rom.. When I installed the lollipop stock rom I decided to go back to my previous kitkat rom. After restoring it and booted it everything was ok but it says no service, emergency calls only. And the signal at the status bar was refreshing every second automatically. I tried to return to that lollipop rom to see whether the signal is ok or no but there was no problem with it. But I dont know whats the probkem in that kitkat rom.... Plzzzz helpppp mee!!

I have the same problem! I used a custom lollipop rom and messed with something so I had to restore the stock Kitkat.
Now it keeps searching for the signal and says "no service" It found the signal for a few times but lost it immidiately.. Wifi works fine.
i would be rly thankful if somebody can fix this.

Flash suitable Kitkat modem for phone.

Im having the same issue i purchased a used G3 and it says " NO service" ive tried eveything and verified with sprint there is no block on the phone. got a new sim card from TING ... the phone will activate only over WIFI but i have never been able to get cell service Is this a hardware issue? im totally lost and TING is telling me to take it to a cell phone repair shop. ( i repair phones myself actually as part of my job but never run into this)
Ive flashed back to stock from via XDA instructions
Any help would be awesome!!

I have found a lot of threads and people reporting this issue. Bought a D855 32Gb from China that has this problem...
Phone tries to get signal a couple of seconds and then a cross.. and so on..
I tried everything I think, I passed for all the bricks the phone can do: Automatic Reboot / Boot Loop / Fast Boot / Security Error / Factory Reset Status 2 / Dead (QHSUSB_DLOAD) - I can help anyone that has any of those problems : )
In one of the flashes my phone turned to D855RE, similar case to other people, also the message "Current version is not available for user. Can't find matched cust for NT-Code mcc/mnc".
Please if anyone was able to fix the problem report here, there is a lot of people waiting for the answer 20 threads in different networks, I will post the solution in each of those. Thanks!

Same happening with me,
I have LG G3 T-Mobile version, it keeps searching the service, sometimes it finds when there is very good signal, or when I am too close to the GSM antenna, I was thinking maiby there is problem with antenna contact, I have opened cleaned, but with no success. When is has service it does everything, calling, sms, 4G.
any help with this issue?

Get the modem from here for your firmware version (mine is 10M) and flash in custom recovery,i had the same problem after downgrading,all will be good

HI. i tried to change to several radio but I still don't have a signal. I just can't find the thread from other site, that it could be a D850 not an D855 motherboard. He tried to change the ROM to D850 and finally got a signal.

I have the same problem, any help is welcomed.

If you can, return the phone. As previous post suggested, its a popular thing from some chinese sellers to change the model. You will see the original model in your motherboard (you have to disassemble the phone) and have to flash the proper stock image. First confirm that the model is the model you ordered.

The phone was okay, this started happening when I flashed stock Marshmallow, then I flashed MIUI KitKat rom to see if its the the marshmallow that does that only, but it was on MIUI as well, after that I flashed Fulmics, but still the same. Now I'm on stock Marshmallow and it's doing it as well. I found a little "thing", when you set the network type to WCDMA/GSM there is no more no service, everything works. But when you put LTE it goes down.

If you suspect this can be the case of model tempering by seller, open your phone and unscrew the upper plastic cover, at the right you will see the Motherboard factory code with the phone model in it. Youll have to flash an according complete stock with flash tool.

and from where i can find japanese version of lg g3 sock firmware?

lg g3 no service detected !

Hi everyone
i have an lg g3 d855 EU working just fine for 1 year and a half ,
And lately when i upgrade to Marshmallow and then i stated flashing a different custom roms and they all work fine!
But a week ago I got a strange problem! A sudden msg appear for few second and then phone keep rebooting:
“Mobile network will be unavailable until you restart with a valid sim card”
I’ve done a lot of research and tried them all but still the same probe:
-put a piece of paper on the top of the sim cad
-replace the sim card
- Factory reset
-flashed android 5 the original kdz file got from official lg firmware using my IMEI
-....
So I decided to get it to a technician!
-so he replaced the sim card reader with a new one! After that the phone went just fine for 4 days and then the problem come back, so I get it back to him, so he replaced the reader with second new one and he told me that the reader is not the problem and is 100% working so when I put the sim card and reboot it ask me for "pin code" but when I after put the pin code, the phone keep searching for signal for few second than it stay no service at all.
the technician sad that there is some file in lg g3 responsible for the service detection and stuff like that only be obtained from another working lg g3 and only solution is that he can get those fil from a working lg g3 and put it into my phone and he told me it will be working again for sure !
So please guys help me I’m stuck !! Is there anyone know something about these files or their names?? And if he can provide me them I’ll be so grateful. :good:

Haven't seen this problem before. A file issue? Perhaps do another complete factory reset then do a complete wipe flash of the global rom, using the LG flash tool. Get the rom here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/lg-g3-android-marshmallow-discussions-t3216143
I use that rom so there shouldn't be any issues. Hope this helps

Have u tried flashing the modem ??? Thats the file u need for ur model u can flash it via twrp recovery... Also try flashing any custom modems of ur model since MM doesnt work

LG G3 VS985 No Sim Card Detected.

Hey guys. I have a Verizon LG G3 running Resurrection Remix Nougat 7.1.1_r9 Nightly build. Before I was running this ROM I was running CM12 and then one day my phone said no sim card detected. I went back to stock and updated and I still had the same issue. I am now on Resurrection and my phone was fixed for a little bit. Then it stopped working. Then it worked. Now it has stopped again and only came on once yesterday randomly when my wifi wouldn't connect (I restarted my phone). I have tried just about everything I could. I got a new sim card from Verizon, I cleaned the sim tray and did not notice any damage to the tray (all pins are in contact). I'm at a brick wall right now and could use some help. Thanks!

I have the same issue with my LG g3 vs985 . With the same rom also . When I press on cellular networks in settings, it says that "com.android.phone has stopped " . I've cleared cache and data of com.android.phone app and it still the same problem. I need help . Thanks .

Exact same thing happened to me. I just got a new battery and re-flashed the 35b bootstack and modem and still, nothing.

It would be better to flash this custom rom ; it's working perfectly ; just wait a moment until it recognise the sim card ; this Cr droid rom is based on android 7.1 and it comes also with night light . Now , the problem is solved for me !! :good:
go to the " androidfilehost " website and search for this " crDroidAndroid-7.1-20161029-vs985 " then download the zip file

I have a weird issue with my vs985 it takes too much time to boot up.. some time it boots and some time it does not boot.. i had to pull out battery fot 20 or more minutes .. i dony know either its software are hardware issue . may be some one experienced this issue .. is there anyone who know about this issue .. i need help...

So i have that strange issue
First my phone work fine but when someone try to call me or when i recive a msg ( via sim of course )
The phone strat to click ( tap) on every where in the screen and going crasy at that moment .
It start to be annoying. Specialy when i use the data mobile internet it gets worse the issue start at any time.
So when i use my wifi i got that prob if someone call or send msg.
If i use the data mobile internet it gets worse.
Any idea or solution . what can i do to solve it
Ps :
1- I didn't have this problem in the past.
2- i didn't try the factory reste coz i m afraid to get that boot loop issue ?
3- this is the original phone system . i didn't try any thing
