Is there any way , either by using an xposed module/app/etc., to make the (internal) speakerphone louder when playing music?
Thanks
If you have rooted phone, then: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/viperaudio-viperatmos-3-8-sq-driver-t3289075
Thanks for the reply.
I, maybe, should've mentioned that my bootloader can't be unlocked. Can I still use this app?
If you have root, why not...

Hi
is possible mod the audio on this phone the stock is too low?
any help
used XPOSED INSTALLER and install the XVolume30 Module.
or BUY Volume+ in the playstore. Can boost your speakerphone and even earpiece volume by A LOT (meaning you can phuck up your phone speaker hardware if you get carried away)...I had to use it in my car just today..and it works on JB still.

Hi!
The volume of the speaker is much to loud, compared with my old Z. I am speaking from media sounds (like music in games), ringtones are ok. Of course i put the volume down to the minimum, but that's still to loud. Xloud is turned off.
Any idea how to get the volume down? XZ1C with unlocked bootloader, root, Advanced stock kernel and .142.
Thanks!

Mine is actually doing good for me. Maybe, you're not yet use to it. And you're used with what you had.

Used to it... I don't think that's the problem, with my Z I could play a game at bed without disturbing my wife, with the Z1C that's not possible cause it's much louder than the Z was .
My phone is Huawei P6-C00, CDMA2000/GSM Dual SIM
No Ringtone, No Media Sound, No Notification Tone, No Sound when playing Music, Video. Although all ringtone, notification sounds are selected and all volumes are set to the highest, No sound came. Video plays with no sound. Music plays with no sound. No sound from speaker, no sound with headphones, no sound with bluetooth.
Phone call works fine. I can hear and talk during the call. The earpiece speaker works fine. The loud speaker works fine during the call. The headphones work fine during the call.
I've sent my phone to the local service center of which I bought my phone here in Yangon, Myanmar. They have no idea what's causing it. Have factory reset the phone. Tried Installing other ROMs. Restored Original ROM from backup. Upgrade it to 4.4 from 4.2. Doesn't solve.
I think it happens after reading a PDF from a memory stick with USB OTG cable. I unmounted safely from setting->storage. After that no sound comes. Before I send to the service center, I move all my data from the phone internal storage to the computer with the USB Cable and the sound comes back for 1 day and went off again. Till then I have been having problems with sound. No sound when phone call rings. No sound when playing music and videos.
It really annoying. I've spent quite an amount of money buying this phone but it's been only 5 months and now causing me a headache. Please suggest what's causing it....
Thanks,

Hi.
Have you veen able to fix the sound-problem with speaker etc.? I'v about same problem so i like to hear a solution.
See my message: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-p6/help/speaker-ascend-mate-mt1-u06-sound-t2972360
im late
i dont now what wxactly your problem is , but what i have read about the sound problems , all sound files refer to a file in your system folder : system/etc/audio/codec , that all sounds are in codec folder , maybe you should have the official form of this folder from someone els and replace it with yours by root explorer in r/w mode. im not shure about this method , but it was what i think , i know your post is for about one year ago but i wanted to reply , because i hate no answer and unfinished threads :/
So happy this actually works. Exact same procedure as for 6t.
Using the adb commands to enable the built in call recorder, turn immediately run adb for skvalex call recorder. I've rebooted several times and the settings stick and works.
Anyone need any help let me know.
We talking clear, INTERNAL audio recording as if using the OOS Call Recording Magisk Module?

That I couldn't tell you since I have never used magisk. My phones aren't rooted so I would default to say rooted is always going to better. I can say this method is clear enough to work. I would not call the quality the same as voice uplink/downlink.

Well, without root it's just the typical procedure. Increase the mic volume so the app, this one or ACR and others, can pick up more of the caller's audio. Increasing the background noise, too. So it's never clear.
So it's a shame that root continues to be the only practical solution to achieving in-call recording and not just recording the speaker.

Do you know how to use adb?
Yes, but please write them here.
Would love to know how - the reason I root phones is to install skvalex...
I know this is old and ive changed phones several times but this all worked where call recording is digital. Working on Android 12 also
Hello
The lowest possible speaker volume is too loud when listening to anything, Sirius or iHeart. My previous OP7P's volume was lower for the first volume setting.
Is there anything I can do to lower the decibels a bit?

Did you install the dolby atmos mod or viper4android?
Is this over wired usbc headphones, bluetooth, or the speaker?
There is a Bluetooth volume control in developer settings if it's bluetooth/headphone related.
The atmos or viper4android mods can make the volume a lot louder. I go turn my atmos from custom back to voice or movie.
It may help to post what version of android you're using and if you're rooted, for more help
Thank you App
I mentioned my op9p that, yes I'm rooted.
I'm on A112 and did install the Dolby mod you helped me with in another thread.
I am referring to the volume of the phone's speaker as I listen to Sirius, for example.

I must have missed it. I didn't recognize the name but try changing your dolby atmos setting to another preset setting or turn off "volume leveler" or "dialogue enhancer" and see how it sounds then
Thank you App
That did it. It was the volume leveler setting, I think.

Happy to help! Sorry I didn't recognize your name from the other thread or I would have said try that before asking about your viper/dolby.
I asked because I had the exact same issue. I was laying down with my kids like 'damn, this is awfully loud for volume 1' . I remembered the Dolby install earlier that day and that was my issue.
It's good to know it worked the same on a11 and a12 for future people wondering the same thing.
I had something similar happen on Viper on an older phone with my aux cable, it would sound distorted until adjusted in viper but only in my car aux. Not wired headphones or bluetooth
