AFH is down for uploading right now. Give me about an hour and this should be uploaded. Today's first build is done, so I'm just waiting on AFH.
First build is up on AFH. Let me know what you think.

It's nightly. Just going to have more recent commits than the latest official weekly until the next weekly is released. It's just for fun I guess. You don't have to try, I just figured I'd put it online if others want to give it a shot. I'm running it and it runs fine.
Are you planning on adding in features, navigation bar tweaks or anything like that?
Can you confirm if active fingerprint sensor (no need to press button when locked) works and isn't buggy? Navigation Bar tweaks?
@dpryor88 make sure you explicitly state that users CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT switch between this and the OFFICIAL builds without a full wipe.
Furthermore, if anyone running these unofficial builds starts submitting bug reports, I'm going to be very annoyed.

It's not buggy on the official builds. You're placing your finger on the button/sensor wrong.

I don't mean the sensor itself... I mean the "wake and unlock" feature. It's supposed to pick up the finger without needing to press the button, and it does that at times right after it's been locked. However if you leave it locked for a period of time, and try to unlock it with the sensor, it wouldn't pick it up.

Isn't that all a given? I stated that they're unofficial nighties. That should be sufficient.

Try this... Settinvs->Apps->Gear icon->Special Access->Battery Optimization and then select the drop down menu then find Device Features and set it to Don't Optimize.
I've found this fixes my issue with the active scanning.

It made it slightly better, but after being locked for a couple of minutes, it still doesn't work unless i press the button... not a big deal but just thought i might raise it

Hmm... Yeah that is odd. Mine seems to do it sometimes intermittently after a reboot. I have found that after a clean flash that clearing the data and cache for Device Features seemed to also make it function more normally.

My appologies...<br>
People are reporting that your version has got better performance and SOT than most of the others so just wanted to download and try this one and found that I link isn't working. Do we have any alternate link? or we are supposed to wait more? ( either works for us as we have best developers like you ).. .

Hi,
On this thread I'll put my unofficial CM9 builds. They are fully vanilla, except for the volume slider in the status bar, they are exactly the same as Hashcode builds and they include the latest CM source changes. According to this, the issues and bugs are exactly the same.
Read this thread before posting: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1615355. DO NOT report any problem in the main discussion/dev thread! You can report them here and pray .

5) Optionally flash GApps
6) Reboot
Comming from any other ROM:
1) Reboot into Recovery (you must use TWRP 2.X, otherwise flashing will fail. DO NOT try to use Hashcode's CWMR since some users report serious partitioning issues when wiping data/factory reseting as of 05-12 CWMR 5.5.0.4 build)

Hey Trojan38, please check your PM.
Appreciate you doing this, one of the main reasons I tend to stay with Hashcode's builds is that I like them plain vanilla. I like to customize them myself, so again, thanks for doing this.
Only thing I will mention is that d/l is really slow. LOL

Here's the new build including the volume slider, and without Bluetooth and Airplane Mode toggles (thanks to twa_priv) :

Thanks! Just installed the latest ROM and it works like a charm. Love the Volume Slider and the fact that those unnecessary Bluetooth and Flight Mode sliders are gone.
The only thing missing now is a fully functional sleep mode. ATM the screen does come on every few minutes which diminishes battery life.

Never seen this on any build. Could be related to an app you have installed.
You could do the following:
Install better battery stats (available on xda for free or if you want to support the dev also on the market) and check your wakelocks.
Or, you could make a nandroid backup, also backup all user apps using titanium backup, and start over. Full wipe (cache, dalvik, data and system) and flash again. The observe if this still happens.
Then restore your apps one by one and observe.

New build up and running well. Thanks and also thanks twa_priv. Btw, I've never had issues with the screen coming on as referenced by Shahpur.Azizpour on any of the builds.
Also, I use Green Power which overrides system settings for turning off wifi. When the screen is off, Green Power turns off the wifi and has been pretty effective at saving battery for me.

I checked again and the problem was the app 'screen off and lock' after reinstall everything works fine.
But i noticed that charging was much much faster with the latest Hashcode build. Right now I'm charging with the stock kindle wall charger and it seems awfully slow....
The kernel is excatly the same, so there is no reason for .
In case anyone was wondering, I officially approve this thread.
It's been hell devving the kernel, recovery, bootloader and keeping a CM ROM up-to-date w/ the latest CM changes when I'm really just looking to test new kernel changes on a semi-currently CM build.
I will probably get the rest of the device tree good for merging w/ CM and then change my official build to something a bit different: A straight AOSP build from OmapZoom (TI) sources as a bleeding-edge build for testing new source changes on the device.
I was wondering a bit but figured Trojan38 would do the right thing by you before posting this up. Speaking of wondering, I've been wondering how you've been managing to keep all these pots cooking at the same time, with kernel, rom, bootloader and even recovery. Oh and I guess I forgot you also "tinker" a bit in the NT forum. WHEW!
You've been Super Man and I'm sure you realize that the KF community really appreciates your work. Looking forward to your future kernel development and thanks again.

Is there a way to have the notification sounds settings survive reboots? I have just been going through the settings each time and setting them all back to my choices each time I reboot.
Was it a dirty install? My settings are fine per reboot, aside from the Netflix issue and a freeze up that drained 40% battery, its been a decent ROM. I'm going to try the other 5.0 ROM whose thread says closed but is in fact still open.
It's a clean install. I had the same trouble on Kit Kat roms. I guess it may be something on my end.
-To clarify: this is only with custom sounds. MP3's or OGG files located either in stock internal location or external SD.

*If you dont use memory hungry apps disable KSM (it will improve your battery life just a little bit and performance)
*go to Settings/Developer options and reduce all animations to 0.5
*disable all touch sounds
*turn off Daydream in Settings/Display & lights
*turn off profiles if you do not use them
*go to Settings/Privacy and disable CyanogenMod statistics reporting
*also while you are there if you are not using Blacklist disable it

Hey Pavle,
Why do you suggest turning CM stat reporting off ? I understand it's not very useful, but is there a real performance gain, or just a marginal one ?

For me that is always off as it is pinging their servers on every boot and sometimes causes a wakelock.
I did notice a small boost in performance but that could very well be a placebo.
Disabling does not harm you,so why not turn it off
Haha, alright, I did not know about that potential wakelock.
BTW, I'll have my friend try out one these builds tomorrow to try and make that wifi work again. I'll keep you informed !

Hi! A couple days ago I saw there was a link in this thread to a version of this ROM with the Omni kernel, which would fix the wifi problem in Latin American devices. Now it's gone.
What happened? Did that fix not work out? I was planning to try it this weekend...
Thanks!

I had to remove it as it was going into bootloop after flash on new build.
I have to test it a bit more.
It works for my July build but in September I changed few things that apparently dont play well with codebame13 kernel.
If I dont sort it out,Ill upload whole July rom with his kernel packed in it!
Thanks for your work. I'm looking forward to it.
By the way, in case it's relevant, a while ago I tried your "fixWifi.zip" from an old release, and it wasn't working for me. (It disabled bluetooth like you said it would, but it didn't restore wifi.) I don't know if that has anything to do with how the new release will work, but I'm telling you just in case.

Strange,Im having trouble downloading it myself....
Seems that its a issue on androidfileshost side, sadly nothing I can do.
I'd suggest,if you are downloading it via phone,to try and download it via PC (Firefox,Chromium,Chrome......etc) and manually move ROM to SD Card,as sometimes theres an issue with browsers for phone.
Refresh few times download page and try again, meanwhile Ill send an email to androidfiles staff to see if they are doing anything on servers (maintenance or something else).
Thanks for report and I hope it gets sorted out soon!

Thanks for the UNHOLY.
Its running good on my L22 with a few glitches.
1. Not able to install modules (Viper & Atmos) from Magisk-13.0. Modules are downloaded though but I have flash them through TWRP only.
2. Not able to update Magisk from 13.0 to 13.2.
-Tried updating it, no success.
-Tried uninstalling the older version and installing newer version thru TWRP. The newer version installs but , After boot it does not load up.

Just curious. Are there any way for find 7 to install nano gapps? I keep on getting insufficient storage... Sad...
Am having problem of cold start gps. Takes about 8-10 mins before locking in. However, once lock in,everything work perfectly.
Updated on 18july.now everything is perfect. Even the battery life got better.
thank you???

You can delete the storage check in the installer script. Did it before and worked fine. I'm gonna try it tonight with this build.
Update: Stucked in bootloop. Gonna try tommorow again.
Update#2: Here is my working solution:
1. Flashing rom
2. Flashing addonsu
3. Flashing openGapps micro
Whats the perception about the Lineage<color>Accent.apks ?
They seemed to compromise my device and after removing these system aps
my find7 starts twice as fast as before.
In Settings->Apps they are all active but do nothing and their names are renamed like kakao lavendel kirsche carbon...
I'dont know whats this about,
but I feel Hacked and compromised by these apks!
Please explain what these apks are good for
and why it is stated in Settings->Apps that they do nothing else as being in background active
nor is anything protokollised from their activity!
I did a clean fresh install with these Custom Rom,
wiping all partitions and installing them with TWRP 3.2.2.0
With best regards Zoltan-X
P.S.: Find7 works better without these and no Errors are caused in usage so far!!!

Are you serious? These are just simple apks for the styles you can change from display settings.
If you are so curious about "being hacked" look at the source: https://github.com/LineageOS/android_packages_overlays_Lineage
Curios i've had in those app a data collecting folder structure,
like db, files, and more, maybe a rootkit on my device???
I don't know, since i removed those my find7 works again really well,
what it didn't do since a long time in this year....
With best regards
Code looks fine and i'll recheck if the image was compromised or not or how, but later these days.
thank you for the quick hint to those files!
P.S.: I've dirty reflashed the image i used to install lineageOS, after the expected remove, and no these nightly seems not been compromised,
Sorry for the alert,
but in the last days many hacks occured in my private relationships with my dearest, so I was a little curios, but seems now clean on my device!
Thank You verry much,
and Kudos Kudos Kudos to your quick hint reply.
I just installed lineage-15.1-20180806-nightly-find7-signed.zip to replace my stock Oppo Find7 firmware on the weekend and after a few days with it, so far so good! I had to lose the LVM unfortunately, but I'd rather have an up to date OS.
The battery life seems shorter than the stock firmware. I can still get through the day, but down to 40 or 50% or less by 6PM instead of much more with the stock Oppo FW. I haven't tried tweaking any battery life settings yet though.
Two minor things with the install compared to the LineageOS howto - the SD card path was different to what was documented ( /internal_sd not /sdcard) , and I had to install open_gapps-arm-8.1-pico-20180812.zip (pico instead of the documented nano version)... but this was minor stuff and I got where I wanted to go.
Awesome. Thanks for this release. Everything (almost) works great. Feels like a new phone. Only video recording does not work. Any ideas ?

Got the latest build. All fine Thanks
Allthough its not supported i've got unified working. not reliable tho. the only way i got it working when flashing los and direct rebooting into recovery again and then flashing the cm-13.0-find7-unified-storage-patch.zip from the according thread. cuz the original link is dead incl mirror i got my copy uploaded to gdrive here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sZ72qUD5P7qL4tsIF3MB-cQk9x9pamRR/view?usp=sharing
only drawback being you cant reboot anymore cuz that will somehow give you the your-sdcard-is-****ed message. havent found a reasonable routine so i guess you'll have to try your luck yourself and maybe give feedback?
Hi, could you disable CABC(Content Adaptive Brightness Control) or provide a way to disable it? The hardware of Find 7 use it and it really makes some troubles, brightness, color. Really thanks if you have that time
I read that the problem of heavy games crashing on Bacon (Oneplus One) was resolved recently with this commit https://review.lineageos.org/#/c/LineageOS/android_device_oneplus_bacon/+/218799/
I have the same problem with the Oppo Find 7/s (i.e. heavy games are crashing). As this device has the same processor and RAM as that of the Bacon, is it possible to get the same fix for Find 7 as well?
