What is NamelessROM?
NamelessROM Gerrit Review
What is NamelessROM ?
Simple - NamelessROM is opportunity.
An opportunity to have a voice to the development team of the after-market firmware that you run on your device.
The main goal of NamelessROM is to provide quality development for android devices, phones and tablets alike.
NamelessROM developers are available nearly 24/7 and respond to bug reports and feature requests almost instantly.
This availability will allow you, the end-user, to have direct input into exactly what features and functions are included on the firmware that YOU run.
NamelessROM maintains features and functions of several well-known open-source, AOSP-based ROMs, as well as many features of our own.
Visit our website for more detailed information.
NamelessROM = endless possibilities. Unless you have an iPhone, then you're out of luck.

You need to config it in settings. Don't know why it defaults like this.
Currently I am only fixing device specific things. Need to fix proximity though...

Is there a way to have the notification sounds settings survive reboots? I have just been going through the settings each time and setting them all back to my choices each time I reboot.
Was it a dirty install? My settings are fine per reboot, aside from the Netflix issue and a freeze up that drained 40% battery, its been a decent ROM. I'm going to try the other 5.0 ROM whose thread says closed but is in fact still open.
It's a clean install. I had the same trouble on Kit Kat roms. I guess it may be something on my end.
-To clarify: this is only with custom sounds. MP3's or OGG files located either in stock internal location or external SD.

CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

The ROM works nice for me, no issues at all. Camera quality is quite good, photos and videos work. I think the stock ROM's photos were a little bit sharper, but it's not a big difference.

Almost everything works, but some features are broken or not implemented.
This ROM isn't meant for every day use, it's just to play around with it as now.
UPDATE: starting with 20141118 nightly the system is almost completely stable and usable, yet you shouldn't use it as your daily driver.
This ROM is NOT my work. It was compiled DIRECTLY from CyanogenMod source, without cherrypicks or other additions.
Here is a video overview of the ROM, please subscribe if you want to support me
UPDATE: the video is now outdated. Nightly 20141118 has solved many of the bugs you see.
UPDATE: Here's a new video showing CM12 working WELL on the G2:

No, all these issues are still there
I think a list of bugs in the first post would be useful
The Thread has been cleaned.
Now a warning to everyone. Want to throw insults? Dont. Want to threaten to have people banned? Nice way to get yourself banned in the process. The next person that thinks they can swear just because it stars it out is mistaken. You will still be removed from the site for doing it.
So here is my advise. Dont like the rom. Then move on somewhere else and keep your thoughts to yourself. Have an issue with someone? Take it to PM.
I think stealing other people's hard work porting cyanogenmod is not worth a few of them leaving our forum to develop on alternatives. is this what you guys want for g2 development?
This is clearly the result of some assistance by the original Cm12 team posting their code on github. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THERMAL CONTROL! I don't know any more details other than that this release is very closely timed with the last and it seems quite suspicious. Let's hope development continues in the future, that will now be the indicator for the future.
I have no other opinions but this is simply disrespectful to the open source community and is costing us the creator of blackbird kernel

Don't use this build... That's a good indicator.
What he's trying to say is that he hasn't tried it most likely on anything but an emulator..
Wow! some people jump to conclusions so quick.
I assume this build is from the github.com/cyanogenmod cm12 branch and the other build is by github.com/lg-devs cm12 branch. Different source and technically that would make this the official CM but just early stages and compiled by un-official devs.

Anything known as broken right now? Thank you so much by the way! Stellar work!
I just flashed it. it boots and is fast with low ram usage.
Got one soft reboot. did not try calling. but wifi worked fine and lte worked too.
The wifi calling support that was announced on 10/31/15 is not functional yet that I could find.
I would not call it a DD yet.

Also, whenever you restart the phone (and on the very first boot) about half of the screen is offset from the other half. It's like one half of the screen has been scooted ten pixels or so above the other half. This is really hard to explain, and the problem seems to fix itself before I can screenshot it (so it's not a big issue right now)

Installed 11/26 nightly and tried GPS and again another soft boot. Turned GPS off, started maps and of course no problem. Tried again after turning GPS on and again hit with soft boot. Came back to it some time later thinking WTF might as well and low and behold all is well. All apps that utilize GPS which is nearly everything these days seems to be running fine.
I can not explain it but am happy! It's now a DD.
should the bootup take very long? I've been sitting here for 20mins for it to finish booting up. has anyone experienced any bootloops on initial startup?

About
MoKee Open Source is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 12.1 (Sv2), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Ah sorry about that. Same as 11 then?
If you are in the states, I could send you some mods if you need them for testing.

Thank You @Fazwalrus for developing the rom, I have xt1980-4 Verizon I want to try this rom on it.
For this purpose when I try to unlock the bootloader I get this error.
fastboot oem get_unlock_data
(bootloader) Failed to get unlock data.
Is there any way to fix this, any help is much appreciated, thank you in advance.

Huh. Let me know if you ever find the solution
Just finished installing and it works really well!
Fingerprint works flawlessly and the general OS speed is fantastic! Only issues I've noticed is that there's this small LED constantly on to the immediate left of the front speaker grill. I've restarted a couple times and that hasn't fixed it. Not a big deal but wanted to share! I'm not sure if that's a notification light or something.
Also - is there a Gapps build for this? Or something I can install over the current build to integrate Google's services?

Glad to hear that. As of now I haven't made a GApps build
Flashed. Fingerprints working better than what the stock software had. Looking forward to moto mod update.
Fantastic work.
What's the limitation of using a normal gapps package from the forums?
Also noticed a minor bug. Looks like audio only comes out of the head phone not the bottom firing speaker. Don't know if it's possible to go full stereo with it

I'll start flashing ones from the Moto GSI thread and see if they work
Anyone ever get a gapps package to work?
I tried both:
MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220416_174313
MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605_112439
but neither worked.

I haven't tried any yet, but someone from the Telegram group got one to work. But I might build Pixel Experience for this device in a couple months of you're into that.
