Tilt2 - "Recommended Device management task"

I tried the "AT&T Software Updates" link in my Tilt2s -> Start->Settings->System page. I got this:
"A recommended device management task from https://mdm.mycingular.net/opm/ht/omadm/dm is available to maintain your device. This task requires a data connection. Do you want to connect and begin the task?"
I hit No and got out - just curious what is this? Has anyone hit yes and seen what happens?
I hit yes and then it started trying to do something but failed with an error. I just left it at that.
While I was on the AT&T ROM, I also got an error when I hit yes. Something about not being able to contact the server or whatnot.
I got the same problem. When I hit Yes, nothing happens. When I close the application, I have a text message that a connection to the server cannot be established. Had the same problem with the "stocks" tab - it wouldn't connect, but it began to work miraculously a few days ago.

Internal Error :0

Greetings.
I have Sprint TP2. It's a stock install except I disabled touchflo3d and i'm using plain WinMo home screen.
Ever since yesterday I noticed that when I check my phone after its been in sleep mode for a few minutes there is a small popup window waiting for me on the home screen.
Title of that popup window is "Internal Error"
Body is a red X icon and text ":0"
If i press ok button that window goes away but then after a few minutes its back.
Rebooting the phone doesn't solve this.
How would i troubleshoot/solve this?
Have you installed any software that didn't come on the phone? If so, try uninstalling one by one to see if you find your troublesome app. If you have all stock software the best bet would be to hard reset. But be sure to backup all data (contact, text messages, etc) if you hard reset.
I have the same issue. mxxcon, did you ever determine root cause?
I'm getting the same thing on both of my Touch Pro 2's, one is with Verizon and the other is with U.S. Cellular, and it seems to have started for me tonight. It's not hurting anything that I can tell, just annoying. However, I'm not seeing it on my HTC Pure (AT&T), so it seems to be specific to the Touch Pro 2.
Edit-It looks like it might be related to the newest version of Google Maps, I wonder if leaving it running in the background is causing this?

I have the same issue on my ATT Fuze. It is definitely the goggle map application, I wonder if its cause i have it running on the SD card.
Anyone else having the problem?

well so far 20 mins later no error message

Thanks for the idea.
ATT Tilt, WM6.1
I nominate for The 2010 Most Useless Error Message Award ":0" --> read: "I have no plonking clue." LOL!!!
Hard reset, install google maps 3.1 to SD, returns :0 on the first try.
(It -may- have even trashed my email and messaging - desktop icons stopped working - but not willing to re-re-re-re-reinstall to test that further.)
Just for fun, uninstall GM, install from CAB to SD and returns :0 simply on the **install**!!!!!!
Hard reset, changed install to main memory rather than SD, and it installed and ran perfectly on the first try. Several soft resets later it still runs like a bunny.
Actually GM is working better than previously. I used to get constant failures from GM to connect to the GPS in the phone ('not found' and such). I used to have to -first- turn on VisualGPSce, and -then- GM would find it immediately. GM is now aaallll grown up and can now do that aaallll by itself.
Have a day!

[Q] Google Now - some commands aren't working

Hello guys!
First of all, my Nexus is running 4.1.2 yakju, Google Now App is up to date. System language is English US.
Actually every known command should work on my device. But there are some few ones which only give a google search result, without a card or voice output (see screenshots). These are for example:
- What is the cast of ...
- Movies with .... / Where did .... play in?
- What is the slogan of (e.g. Apple) ....
The strange thing is, these commands worked for a while but some day my google now started to answer every command with “According to Wikipedia... “, and reading out the first sentences of the Wikipedia article on the asked topic. That went on for two weeks and went back to normal again. Since then the two commands above (and a few more) aren't working properly anymore.
Am I the only one facing this issue? Could you please check this? What could be the problem? How to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

Can't read book bought in play store.

TL;DR: Can't view book I bought in play store, get "this book isn't available for offline reading right now. check your internet connection then try again." error message, yet I have internet.
The story. I preordered a book ("The time of contempt", if it helps any) and eagerly waited it's release on the 27th. This morning I gleefully opened up the play store and clicked "read", to be greeted by a not so friendly "this book is not available for viewing now" error. Shrugging disappointedly, I went about my day and tried to forget about it. Ever since then whenever I try and open it on my N7 I get this error message: "This book isn't available for offline reading right now. check your internet connection then try again." The kicker here is I have a connection, and tried it on 3 different wifis (and my phone's tethering). Everything else works that requires internet, just the book wont load. My other books work fine (but they are local content), and most odd is that I can access the book just fine on my HTC one, no problem at all. I've tried google searching that error but it seems I may actually be the only person who's experienced the problem (or at least the first one to complain).
Things I've tried:
>clearing data for google play and google play services apps
>googling
>waiting and trying again
>switching wifis
>crying
I'm out of options, I may just reset it to factory to try and get it. I'm running pure stock if it helps the diagnosis any.
What do?

Can't reach google at the moment

Dear Friends.
Some functions on my Moto 360 watch work but others just give me a "can't reach Google at the moment" message.
This happens with voice commands or answering whattsapp or telegram messages...
I have read this is because of the MTK processors (I have a Iocean X7S Octacore) and also because of the BT certification. Not all BT hardware is certified for all smartphones.
Help me please!
I'm having same problems trying to answer telegram and messenger (Facebook), paired with my Nexus 5.
It's getting annoying because i want to be able to answer my messages through my moto 360!
This happens to me too with my Note 4.
I am also experiencing this issue with my Moto 360 paired to my Nexus 6. I often get "offline" or cannot reach Google, although I am connected to my phone. Would love to figure out a solution to this, it happens just about 50% of the time I say "Ok Google"
Ok guys, i solved this by downloading the offline language package of my native language in google now (my phone and moto 360 are in portuguese, so i downloaded the portuguese offline language package in google now).
Try this and see if it solves your problem too!

Sadly, it didn't work for me, it drives me nuts!
Try to set the language on your phone and moto 360 to english and see if it works. If it works, it is a problem with language interface on the Android Wear
I had the same problem. However, the probably just resolved itself yesterday in its own. It looks like fault lies on Google end.
I have this issue all the time. To be honest, speaking to the watch is the main input and it works well only about 30 percent of the time. Another 40 percent it stalls for a good 20+ seconds and then works. The rest of the time I get the can't reach Google message. After so many software updates, it's really sad that this is still happening. The reality is that in most cases, I'm better off just taking my phone out to do anything. The watch is only to view notifications.
Same thing happens to me and I have it paired to the 2nd gen Moto X. You'd think these two devices would work well together since they are by the same company. Funny thing is, when I first got it this wouldn't happen much, but now it seems to be happening all the time. I'm not sure if it's because of the recent firmware upgrade or not, but that could be it. It's pretty frustrating trying to reply to a text or show a friend the cool feature of the watch and have it keep saying "can't reach Google at the moment".
