Hi all, it seems impossible to regulate the incall volume on lineage and lineage based ROMs, the slider is moving but volume doesn't change for real. I have a Lenovo Zuk z1, this bug is still present since months and I read that is a general bug that other devices have too. Can someone confirm this? It's very very very annoying
Solved with these steps:
Enable speaker during a call
Adjust volume
Disable speaker
Now volume can be regulated

Hi, I just bought the moto z play, all is great just I am not happy as I am not getting a permanent solution to the in-call volume issue. I know while on a call i can low the in-call volume by volume buttons, but the annoying issue is its not remaining fixed!! If i call again, then again the volume is all full as i check and its not to the point where i lowered it in previois call. Please help me how to set it fixed for all calls ?? As i had htc m8 before and on it, it supposed to remain fixed and it had snapdragon 801 in it. Please do help else i'll go crazy lowering/adjusting it on all or many calls.
Helllo experts,
I have just upgraded OP3 to nougat.
One feature of nougat I dont like is :linking system and Bluetooth volume.
Please give a solution to unlink both volumes. So that I can change both volumes separately either one from Bluetooth headset and one from system. Or both from system.
Reason I want: I want my Bluetooth device volume to highest level. This gives me bass sound more.
And if I increase volume now from Bluetooth headset or from android system (mobile) both volume increases and shows as single volume on screen. Keeping volume to highest level gives me too much volume. I want more bass at less volume. Which can be possible if I keep bluetooth headset volume high. And system volume low/medium(adjustable).
Please can some one resolve this. This feature (a problem for me) depreciate my music listening experience.
I don't have this phone.
The option is called "Disable absolute volume" and it is located in Developer options on my phone.
Hi there! I'm using my Doss Traveller at work, and when I was Oreo I used to disable absolute volume, because volume of the speaker was either too loud or not loud enough - and it tried to auto adjust the volume with every new song/video. The toggle is not working in the latest DP. Is there another workaround?
One of the features I am unable to find in Lineage 17.1 is the ability to easily silence my phone when I receive a call.
With HTC Sense inverting the phone silences the ringer whilst picking it up reduces the volume and these are really great options !
Can anyone tell me where these are in Lineage or suggest any apps/mods which will achieve the same since the "Power + Volume Up" option is hardly ideal ?
I have the Redmi Note 8 (gingko), and when taking calls (eg WhatsApp) on earphones the volume is too loud, even when sliding the volume slider all the way down. This is not a problem specific to the earphones (connected via audio jack), I've tried several sets.
Since I currently runlineageOS 17.1, I tried adjusting the AudioFX equalizer to reduce volume, but it only works for playing music and not calls unfortunately.
With root I installed Viper4Android, which likewise is only effective for music but not calls.
Does anybody know of a solution with which I can reduce the in-call volume further beyond the minimum? Possibly there is a custom ROM, or a custom kernel I'm unaware of that resolves my issue.
Me (and my ears !) would gladly appreciate any help or pointers
