No Factory Reset Option in Bootloader - HTC One X

Hi all,
I have a stock HTC One X, when the phone updates it knackers android causing all sorts of crashes on boot. Generally I just boot into the bootloader and do a hard reset. This time I go into the bootloader but there is no option to do a factory reset. Any ideas on whats gone wrong or how I might resolve it please?

Stock Slide boot loop help

Weird issue here, wife's Slide has been working just fine all this time, needed a reboot this morning, is now stuck in a boot loop.
Phone is 100% stock and not rooted, now I have rooted other phones and know the processes involved BUT am looking for a simple fix first, wife doesn't care about anything other than a functioning phone.
Does anyone know if doing a factory reset would do the trick? I know how to get into recovery and all that, or any other idea? If it gets to it I will root and throw say Cyanogen on it, but will try to avoid anything drastic if possible.
Yes, factory reset/ wipe should help

G3 won't factory reset after bootloop

So, i bootlooped my device somehow, and now I'm trying to factory reset the damn thing. problem is, I go to the recovery screen, where I can choose safe mode, clear cache, and factory reset. I click factory reset, and the little android alien pops up for 1-2 seconds, and then it goes black and the phone restarts. In other words, its not letting me factory reset for some reason.
Please help asap!!

wtf? I never installed a custom ROM or anything. just a custom boot animation and a build.prop edit, and one of those two things boot looped my rig. when i try to factory reset via the hardware buttons, it restarts after 1 second of trying and goes back into the bootloop. i try ever different setting on the recovery screen, and they all have the same result (either safe mode, or delete cache)
how else can i factory reset so i can get my phone back'??

Stuck in Bootloop after entering a wifi password

Hello Guys,
since 2 days my phone stucks in a bootloop. I entered a wifi password, then my phone starts to reboot immediately. the lockscreen appear for just 1 sec and then the phone starts to reboot again. Im Using Android 6.0, unroot, usb debugging disabled, closed bootloader and no custom recovery. I can enter the download mode and the factory reset menu. I can reset my phone, but i dont wanna lose my pictures on the internal storage. Is it possible to save my pictures? Or how can i restore them after a Factory reset?
i also tried to reinstall Android 6.0 with the LG Flash Tool 2014, and did the installation without the factory reset, but it doesnt helped.
i hope someone could help me.
Thanks

A factory reset might fix it. This is why you should have stuff like that backed up.
Sent from my LG-D852 using XDA Labs
Have you fixed it yet ?

Cant factory reset my phone

Software bootloop 5.1.x

I believe there is an issue with one of the nexus 5x updates. I see several threads here and most people are quick to say its the old hardware bootloop issue. But, I don't believe this is the hardware bootloop issue since I was able to fix it once with factory reset. And this is a replacement phone that I got after the orginal had the hardware bootloop. So I'm looking for some confirmation that there is some sort of software bootloop issue with one of the nexus 5x updates.
I got into this mess because, I put off updating one of my phones for a while and recently I started updating several updates. I think one of these updates in conjunction with facebook or some other social app causes phone to crash and then be unable to boot.
I wiped cache and it didn't help. I did a factory reset and got it working again. Then I started updating again and the same thing happened. On another nexus 5x I don't use social apps and I never had this problem. I'm trying to do another factory reset and going to update up to the latest patch without using any social apps.
One symptom is that if u go into recovery mode, it says "no command". To get past that, you have to hold power for like 3-5 seconds and then while holding it, press volume up.
Now to do some factory resetting...
Okay I am not able to get into recovery anymore. Maybe the first time was luck that I was able to do a factory reset. This is looking like another hardware bootloop now.
