Accidentally formatted system partition. Now stuck at bootlogo - Micromax Canvas A1

While trying to flash a ROM , I formatted the system partition through TWRP and accidentally rebooted the phone. I was running MIUI 7 in the phone previously. I have TWRP backup of system and boot but the phone is stuck at bootlogo and power button volume down combo fires factory mode. I guess I deleted both the recovery and the OS. Phone is getting charged , as the battery indicator is displayed when plugged. Is there anyway to recover my A1?
Sorry if the question is a repeat. Any help would be appreciated.

yo man,
first of all for getting into recovery mode is ; power off your device > wait few seconds > then press power + volume up button, there you go.
then, if youve wiped your device's system partitions via twrp , nothin to worry, just download any rom, put it to your sd card, reboot recovery, wipe everything except sd card, choose downloaded zip to flash, swipe to confirm, once the flashing rom completes reboot your device. :good:

Hard Reset Won't Work On My Acer A100

I have tried a hard reset with the volume up button + power button until vibrates then switching screen lock on and off. I see the Erasing user data...Erasing cache... come up then I let go and all it does is gives me the acer logo and proceeds to bootup like normal. I have tried about 100 times lol
I am just trying to figure out how to reset the password on the device I purchased it and it was locked.
I have tried the update.zip thing which didn't work (see below)
Erasing Cache before SD update
SD Update cmd: recovery
--update-package=SDCARD: update.zip
Booting recovery kernel image
Recovery verified failed ...
The bootloader is: Bootloader v0.03.13-ICS: Starting fastboot USB download protocol
I am not sure if the bootloader is locked or not and I don't know if the tablet is rooted how would I check?
Thanks.

Sounds like someone relocked the boot loader with a custom recovery installed. It'll say unlocked if it is.
You could let it boot android and see if you can still adb in and get it unlocked again, if its failing to boot android and recovery you bought a tablet someone bricked.

Yeah I think it's bricked luckily the guy at the pawn shop said I could take it back within 30 days since I purchased it with the unknown password on it.
I managed to get a 32gb Nexus 7 from craigslist for $170 today so happy with that.
Thanks!!

I'm having the exact same issue. I'll let you know what I figure out. I've had mine rooted previously, but have since done a stock ICS update, which removed root. I let the kid play with it for a year and now it's in the exact state you describe. I'm hoping to get it going so I don't need to buy him another tablet!
did you fix this?? im having this issue

[Q] Root failed halfway through, now HTC One X continually reboots

I really hope someone can help me.
I tried to root my HTC One X a few days ago but it failed (don't know why) halfway through. It now continually reboots. I've gone into recovery and hit restore, wiped caches and factory reset but it's still doing it. I only have Jelly Bean on my OS card because I was trying to install that too. That just sits on the boot screen though. I even tried opening the phone to manually put the SD card in my computer to put a different update on it but there didn't seem to be an obvious SD card. It's a brick at the moment, can anyone help, please?
Hold the power button and the volume - button together as long as it takes to get into the bootloader. Once there you flash the boot.img from the new rom with fastboot commands
After that you enter the recovery and make a FULL wipe and install the rom
Ow and you can mount the sdcard as an usb diskdrive inside the recovery !

[Q] Android System Recovery <3e>

Hello. I'm stuck in Android System Recovery <3e> and i need your help, thank you in advance.
I'm afraid to brick the phone and i'd really appreciate some fast help! I'm affraid the phone could run out of battery even if plugged in!
I downloaded Samsung Galaxy NoteII Toolkit V4.1.0
I installed the drivers
I started to root my phone, I chose the fifth option
"Will either push the selected root file to your Internal Storage, guide you through flashing Custom Recovery via Odin. When the device reboots it will bot to recovery so root files can be flashed + rename the recovery restore files. Or install the zip file via adb sideload after recovery boots. plus busybox will also be installed"

I went trough Odin, and then when the phone was detected I chose cwm and it rebooted again, it went in Android System Recovery <3>
I can read this
Android System recovery <3e>
Volume up down to move highlight
power button to select
reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset.
wipe cache partition
Apply update from cache

The toolkit told me to press any button when i was in sideload mode. So i pressed and it said "error: closed" then i sayed press any button when file installed ready to reboot (something like that). I tried and i pressed a random key and it said "error: closed" and went back to main menu and i'm still in Android system recovery <3e>
Now, i'm still plugged to the computer. I'd would like to start all over. What should i do? Reboot system now? unplug the phone? Take the battery out? I already tried power + volume up combo. It reboot and goes back to where i was.
I'm afraid to brick the phone and i'd really appreciate some fast help! I'm affraid the phone could run out of battery even if plugged in!
Edit: I took a shot and chose "reboot system now". Everything seems to work fine but Root checkers says i'm not rooted. I would like to know if i can start again without worrying about what happen?

Hey.
First of don't cry.
Now, you have TWRP right?
Grab an external SD card and load a ROM onto it through the PC (for GPad)
Put SD in GPad, factory reset device.
Now go to install, external sd, locate ROM, Swipe to flash.
After flash wipe dalvik and cache then Boot to ROM.
If above fails.
Download LG PC suite and install LG drivers to PC.
Plug LG GPad in PC
Run the LG Suite click Upgrade recovery.
Now it will download stock LG ROM and after download will flash automatically.
Will then reboot after flash.
Hopefully now is fixed.
If hangs at boot screen boot to stock recovery, (power off, power button + Volume down, when LG logo appears let go off all buttons, now press all three in. Will need two hands for it,)
Then get a factory reset prompt, click power button twice to perform a factory reset.

Deleted OS,phone stuck at home screen,no access to bootloader

I rooted my phone. But accidentally deleted my OS. Before flashing with a new ROM, i wiped off the cache/system/Dalvik cache.
When i tried flashing my device, i got some failure. So, i tried to reboot my device.
But, now i am not able to get into bootloader mode. The device is stuck at home screen with HTC logo and is unresponsive. Nor the power button is working to shut it off. I have to wait to get the battery drained.
Also, Vol Dwn+Power is not working to move it to Fastboot mode, so dat i can recover with my TWRP backup.
Also, i have seen that when the device is powered off, i can access the storage using USB, but can't access it when it is powered ON.
I thought of trying flashing RUU but for that i guess i need USB access to device while it is powered ON.
Please suggest me how to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance

Hi Guys,
I sorted out the issue. Thanks to various information available which i need to put in together to fix.
FIrst of all, the good thing is that i had the TWRP recovery.
I was able to move into Fastboot mode once the device is switched off.
Steps i followed::
1) Place the TWRP backup in the sd card in the proper directory structure.
TWRP -> BACKUPS-> [phone's serial number] -> ROMName
2) Volume up+power button to shut it off.
3) Volume Down+power button to move to Fastboot mode.
4) Select Recovery. You will be moved to TWRP manager.
5) Select Restore there and select the proper recovery folder which u had copied in the sd card.
6) You are done!! BINGO
For those who don't have TWRP backup, they can flash it with a proper ROM available by simply placing the ROM zip in the sd card, wipe the cache from TWRP manager. Select Install from TWRP manager and select the ROM zip and you are done flashing with the new ROM.
