On Windows Phone 8.1, they're inside C:\PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Sounds\. You might wanna check it out

Looked for folder and found it but there is nothing for audio in there , searched around for sub folders and stuff, still no dice*?

Lumia 950 XL in C:\PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Sounds\

Do you know where the wallpapers are stored? On WP8.1 they're on C:\PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Wallpapers\ but on W10M, that folder is empty
UPDATE
Found them! They're in C:\Windows\System32\backgrounds and C:\Windows\System32\lockscreen

If you're using MTP, try to restart your phone. Some folders doesn't show up until you restart your phone. I downloaded Lumia 950 FFU from Lumia Firmware and browsed that folder. Here's what I found...

You are way past me brother, I just came from years of Android, I found the*C:\ and U:\ directories by glitch, but I still am not*able to mtp or*view anything*system hidden.....
I have installed interlop (sp)*lol tools*but it claims I need*vcreg, so I have been trying to get that it, but no luck yet,.. hammering away at*it.. great find, thank you for the foot work

Did you install PocketTwit on your phone's memory and not on a memory card?
@chopinfreak
You seem to have this panel building down to a science.
I'm impressed with your work.
Do you think it's possible to build a panel with sports scores that update at a user defined interval?
I'm in the US so I would like MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL scores represented.
Great job! I've downloaded your other panels as well!
It works. THank you!

Here is the only thing that works in winmo.

I can't just link the download because it has been updated a few times since January and the files are sprinkled throughout the thread.
It would be real nice if it could somehow be made into a panel.
Thanks for your reply

A few suggestion for Windows Phone 7 navigation

Since Microsoft first released Windows Phone 7, I convinced my self to "NOT BUY" the very first release because I know and I think most of us knows that a few months or weeks, an improved version will be available.. Well probably upgrading a ROM is the answer but anyway, my few suggestions to improve some navigations.
A like to suggest in horizontal panning effect which I think is a very nice and beautiful. But to improve the navigation, here are some my suggestion.

Ok. So another one would be, in Application List navigation.
also posted in my blog site

To be honest, those are nice concepts. I can easily see the Application list getting changed to allow grid support. Can't say much about the other.
FYI Windows Phone 7 is going to be very easy to update. It has a real updater unlike Windows Mobile. You wont have to flash a rom and wipe out all your apps and settings to get OS updates anymore. At least thats what Microsoft is claiming.

the question is, will it be "free" ? which I don't believe it will.
and if not .. well most of us I think will still swim around this kind of site for free upgrade, patched ROMs that we will still injecting in our phone's vains
EDIT:
-- ok, so hopefully it will be free like Windows OS
another suggestion would be
Bing search results.
Will it be nice to search inside your phone too such as Contacts, Applications, Calendar, and files? here's the preview.

Prefer to load media onto your Windows Phone 7 device the old fashioned way? Then it looks like your solution is just a simple Windows registry hack away. Coming shortly after the USB tethering hack, the folks at Mobile Tech World have now discovered that you can effectively turn your Windows Phone into a USB drive by modifying just three entries in the registry of your Windows desktop PC. Once done, you'll be able to drag and drop files to your heart's content -- albeit only on a computer that's had the registry hack done, of course. Hit up the source link below for the complete details.

Excellent news.
But what does the file structure look like? Does this break out of the isolated storage restrictions in any way?
I.e. can you create files in a general area accessible by multiple apps?
I'm thinking no, but we are now only one step away from Windows Phone 7 firmware becoming an actual operating system.

[Q] LED Flashlight App (Metro)

I'm looking to build an flashlight app with the LED flash. I know this has been done before, but I'm planning on making the most basic, Metro-style app possible, with really well fitting icon and interface. All the other apps out there that do this are ugly or have ugly interfaces. I'm planning on putting it out for free on here, and if Microsoft accepts it, on the Marketplace.
Only problem is, I'm not sure how to active the LED flash. According to this post, it's something to do with this:
Code:
ID_CAP_CAMERA
. So how do I use that to activate the flash? Having trouble figuring it out.
Thanks.
Please post in correct section.
Firstly this is a question
Second, its about software development.
Moved to WP7 Software Development
I know it is in the undocumented Mango APIs somewhere under System.Reflection. Somehow you capture video without really saving it (with the flash setting on).
Anyone have any more insight into this? I dont really care for any on the market they all have too much "extra" crap or terrible looking icons so I just figure I'll make what I want myself but I too need to know how to get the constant on LED. Anyone care to help?

It was discussed here a long time ago (should be in archives, available with forum search) but also take a look to the Dave's article and app http://www.daveamenta.com/2011-01/led-flashlight-for-windows-phone-7/
So, the key points are:
- you should delete recorded videos by yourself;
- to bypass marketplace validation, you should use Microsoft.Phone.Media.Extended assembly with dynamical load and dynamic function references.

Huawei Music app issue on OnePlus 5T

Hi there,
I loved the music all that I had on my Huawei P8 Lite and would love having this one again on my OnePlus 5T.
Now I noticed there are different versions of it but managed to find the version that I wanted. Sadly for some reason when I tap on the button to find songs on my device it says it found 721 items but then it doesn't show them in the app... So basically I can't listen to my music on the app...
Does someone know a way to solve this?
Thanks in advance!!

First off that site is a known warez site and banned on XDA. So I would remove the pic.
Without any logs taken to show what the error is The only guess would be it relies on that OEM framework to work properly.

Thanks! Not sure if I can get a log somewhere but I'll see, it just shows that songs were found but doesn't show them in the end, same issue is with other versions, although some of the Chinese ones (that I'm not looking for) shows the songs without issues

Do, a search for pulling a log cat. That will tell you how. The follow the directions and it will tell you what's wrong. You can compare the two versions to see why one works and the other doesn't.
