Prefer to load media onto your Windows Phone 7 device the old fashioned way? Then it looks like your solution is just a simple Windows registry hack away. Coming shortly after the USB tethering hack, the folks at Mobile Tech World have now discovered that you can effectively turn your Windows Phone into a USB drive by modifying just three entries in the registry of your Windows desktop PC. Once done, you'll be able to drag and drop files to your heart's content -- albeit only on a computer that's had the registry hack done, of course. Hit up the source link below for the complete details.

Excellent news.
But what does the file structure look like? Does this break out of the isolated storage restrictions in any way?
I.e. can you create files in a general area accessible by multiple apps?
I'm thinking no, but we are now only one step away from Windows Phone 7 firmware becoming an actual operating system.

Did you install PocketTwit on your phone's memory and not on a memory card?
@chopinfreak
You seem to have this panel building down to a science.
I'm impressed with your work.
Do you think it's possible to build a panel with sports scores that update at a user defined interval?
I'm in the US so I would like MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL scores represented.
Great job! I've downloaded your other panels as well!
It works. THank you!

Here is the only thing that works in winmo.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=4161&highlight=pocket+sports+center
I can't just link the download because it has been updated a few times since January and the files are sprinkled throughout the thread.
It would be real nice if it could somehow be made into a panel.
Thanks for your reply

yep simple mistake did not read the DONT INSTALL ON MMC LOL am trying now
Since Microsoft first released Windows Phone 7, I convinced my self to "NOT BUY" the very first release because I know and I think most of us knows that a few months or weeks, an improved version will be available.. Well probably upgrading a ROM is the answer but anyway, my few suggestions to improve some navigations.
A like to suggest in horizontal panning effect which I think is a very nice and beautiful. But to improve the navigation, here are some my suggestion.

Ok. So another one would be, in Application List navigation.
also posted in my blog site

To be honest, those are nice concepts. I can easily see the Application list getting changed to allow grid support. Can't say much about the other.
FYI Windows Phone 7 is going to be very easy to update. It has a real updater unlike Windows Mobile. You wont have to flash a rom and wipe out all your apps and settings to get OS updates anymore. At least thats what Microsoft is claiming.

the question is, will it be "free" ? which I don't believe it will.
and if not .. well most of us I think will still swim around this kind of site for free upgrade, patched ROMs that we will still injecting in our phone's vains
EDIT:
-- ok, so hopefully it will be free like Windows OS
another suggestion would be
Bing search results.
Will it be nice to search inside your phone too such as Contacts, Applications, Calendar, and files? here's the preview.
Make your Windows 7 Desktop looking like your WP7

Should work as long as you have everything else installed.
You can find the HTC clock here

Let me know if it works.
Wow this is gorgeous!
New one im working on
I am going to download and install this when i get home. Is there any easy way to remove this if i dont like?
A simple uninistall and your back to normal.
awesome staff
This would be better if we could use Live/Hotmail instead of Gmail, and if there was a Songbird panel, though I could probably make one of those.
EDIT: The developers of Omnimo created a panel editor which allowed me to create a Songbird panel, and I can just use the Outlook panel to monitor my Live.com email.

Hopefully we will be rocking Ubuntu soon!
What's everyone think about this?
I have a sneaky suspicion this is one of the main reasons Samsung went with a Smart Dock for the GN2.
Add it up - quad core system with resources, ubuntu, way to hook up peripherals....
That really makes a portable desktop short of virtualization.
you may be interested in this thread, I found through the main page portal: Linux on Android
I haven't tried it yet. Could be a nice option for those things that just aren't mobile friendly.
Big Meh from me.

I don't think this is the same. Ubuntu for Android is a phone operating system and desktop in one OS. What you are running is Ubuntu desktop on a phone. Ubuntu for Android allows you to make phone calls, text etc....

Any ideas how we get this on our devices yet?

Agreed. Thus is why I said may be of interests.
As for the mobile ubuntu OS, I think you're going to have to wait a bit. It wasn't announced that long ago. It's only recently been shown in any kind of working format, which was on a Nexus phone. Once the code is released, then will be challenges or getting everything to work such as LTE and S pen.

If you're using MTP, try to restart your phone. Some folders doesn't show up until you restart your phone. I downloaded Lumia 950 FFU from Lumia Firmware and browsed that folder. Here's what I found...
