Everytime I restart my phone I have to re-enable the developer options again (like Disable HW Overlays to prevent flickering).
Are there anyway for the phone to do keep the options enabled by default?

Hello!!
I have a One M8 Developer Edition and I am trying to get s-off. I tried to turn off my lock screen options but they are greyed out. Is there a way to disable my lock screen temporarily?
Thank you for your help,

Hello,
it seems like there is a Administrator active. Try disabling it: Settings -> Security -> Device Administrators. ( I saw you use Avast! and I think it might be his Admin whose blocking it.)
Also, it could be that the encryption is blocking it. Then you need to wipe data and need to start over.
greetz.

Avast! was the thing that was stopping me from disabling the password. Thank you!!
A strange thing happened yesterday. My phone OP3 was idle for few hours. When i picked it up, i saw that it had shutdown. On restarting it, I noticed that few of my settings had changed as below
Buttons swap : I had enabled it, but was disabled
Sound: Section System (Touch Sounds, Dial pad tones screen locking sounds) had been enabled from earlier disabled state
Gestures: All gestures disabled
I see no new notifications
I cant pull down the notification panel/tray. only see one line of shortcuts
Developer options menu is present but when i click it, I get message "Developer options are not enabled for this user"
My power long press options were reset to default (without recovery).
I cleared cache from recovery/launcher (oneplus) yet #4,#5,#6 are not fixed.
I found similar problem with solution for marshmallow but it doesnt work for me. http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ton-settings-button-dnt-work.html#post5083902
Last option would be a factory reset. Anyone faced similar issue?
PS: I had clean installed OB9 and then OB10 OTA with stock recovery.
How to hide developer options in Options?
Go to: Settings>apps> then find settings on list and clear data for it (but that option will be probably greyed out) if so then:
Download this app but it requires root
If you don't have it than only solution will be factory reset.
I can't disable the lock screen anymore.
It says "disabled by administrator encryption policy or credential storage".
Even in the developer options it's not possible to disable it. Same message.
What can I do now?
