A strange thing happened yesterday. My phone OP3 was idle for few hours. When i picked it up, i saw that it had shutdown. On restarting it, I noticed that few of my settings had changed as below
Buttons swap : I had enabled it, but was disabled
Sound: Section System (Touch Sounds, Dial pad tones screen locking sounds) had been enabled from earlier disabled state
Gestures: All gestures disabled
I see no new notifications
I cant pull down the notification panel/tray. only see one line of shortcuts
Developer options menu is present but when i click it, I get message "Developer options are not enabled for this user"
My power long press options were reset to default (without recovery).
I cleared cache from recovery/launcher (oneplus) yet #4,#5,#6 are not fixed.
I found similar problem with solution for marshmallow but it doesnt work for me. http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ton-settings-button-dnt-work.html#post5083902
Last option would be a factory reset. Anyone faced similar issue?
PS: I had clean installed OB9 and then OB10 OTA with stock recovery.

After having the UI crashes which resulted from the M6 upgrade I reinstalled to the previous nightly build which worked well on my device. Now I am having multiple problems with the status bar, notifications, home button and the power button menu.
1. Notifications do not show up in the notification bar. The notification sound plays, but the notifications do not show up in the pull down
2. The Quick Settings Panel no longer is accessible from the status bar
3. The additional Power Button menu settings for reboot options, profiles etc are lost and are not resettable via the settings. Only the default power button menu is available. I've seen a thread about another device that suggested taking a picture somehow restored the menu settings after an install which obviously isn't an option here.
4. The Home button is non-functional now. I tried a reset on the navigation buttons but that didn't restore them.
When I performed the reinstall, I did not do a full device wipe first, but I did do a cache wipe after the install. Can anyone provide any insight on how I can recover this functionality without having to perform a full device wipe and reinstall?
Never mind. Much more just was not functional at all so I ended up doing a full device wipe and reinstall and now I am reinstalling and reconfiguring everything. So far, all the issues I had before have been resolved after the device wipe.
I must say that the M6 update was a real disaster for me.
You are still on M6 or the older ROM ???
I flash this ROM M6 a week ago with full wipe..data,cache, dalvik, system .notice no problem on my part
Hello guys !
I have a Nexus 5X and i got quite a big issue since yesterday :
- My home and "multitask" buttons don't work anymore (but the back button is ok)
- I can't see anymore my notifications (none at all)
- I can't expand the notification bar twice (I'm stuck with the quick settings) and even clicking on the little arrow doesn't do anything
- I have no mobile data, even if they are activated in the settings..
All that came all of a sudden : I had no problem during the day and I was just using my phone when it started
I've tried :
Reboot, wipe cache in recovery mode, I even upgraded to Android O and it is still the same
If you have any idea before I factory reset it....
Thanks

@bourliam: restore any nougat-backup?
Hello,
I have a weird problem with my phone. Few days ago I've drained my battery and swapped it to the fresh one. But after phone booted up everything is broken.
My wallpaper changed to the one i don't know, it even doesn't look like stock one (Screenshot 1).
Notifications doesn't show up. Probably because upper drawer doesn't work now as well (i can slide it down only once, to show me date. But can't slide it down further to change sound profile, wi-fi etc. Screenshot 2).
Home button doesn't work, square button (the one for switching between applications) doesn't work either.
Half of the settings got reset to factory, some of them stayed unchanged but doesn't work anymore. For example, I've had my lock screen protected by pin. It still shows in the settings that I've set pin code, but there is no actual pin lock when I'm locking my phone (Screenshot 3).
Developer options menu says that they "are not available for this user" (Screenshot 4).
Even my QuickCircle case doesn't work anymore.
I have F400L one with Fulmics ROM 7.6 (6.0 Android).
I've tried to dirty flash it (i was on Fulmics 7.5 before). But after flashing new version of ROM everything still the same.
I've tried to wipe Dalvik + Cache, no luck either.
I don't want to do a full wipe, it will be a huge pain it the ass to reinstall and reconfigure all of my apps. Especially ones like Google Authenticator.
Dear community, do you have any suggestions what happened and how i may fix it?
UPDATE:
Found same problem: https://plus.google.com/u/0/+PaulOBrien/posts/8EGNvpY9jQa
Solution is to type this command (through adb or terminal):
am start -n com.google.android.setupwizard/.SetupWizardTestActivity
At this moment, this command resolved probably all of issues occured.
Hello all, I have a weird bug after accepting the OTA to Android 10 two days ago. I noticed that the UI is stuck in immersive mode, meaning the nav bar and status bar disappear after a second or two. I am rooted but have not modified any system files. Went into Custom Restrictions and made sure that there was nothing checked. Not sure what else could be causing this or is there a setting somewhere that I am not finding. I toggled gestures back to 3-button and that didn't do anything either. Thanks
I managed to fix it...
Not sure how or what caused this command to be executed but "settings put global policy_control immersive.full=*" was enabled, had to rerun it without the *

I´m on stock rom, but since first miui 11 update the phone only vibrates when charging. I´ve tried to change all settings on accessibility and "sound and vibration", nothing solves the problem.
Any hints?
Found a solution! Looks like a bug, vibration isn't restored when phone leaves battery saving mode. Vibrations can be restored via ADB (but you need to allow write secure settings in developer options) using
settings put global battery_saver_constants "vibration_disabled=false,animation_disabled=true,adjust_brightness_disabled=false"
EDIT: after some time vibration was disabled again, even without entering battery saving mode.
I'm facing this also with PocoF1
