Completely power of the device by pressing the power button for 40 seconds. Then press volume up for ten seconds and while pressing connect to the computer. If the device is detected by the computer then try the first method of mega unbrick guide. Best of luck.

Used the mega unbrick guide
OnePlus never dies! He kills flagships.
Its fully unbrickable, screwed phone up lots off times experimenting with things and have always got phone back again.
Same! i got mine yesterday off swappa, original owner fked it all up by unrooting, flashing stock recovery and rom, and never took off the pin to decrypt the storage on twrp so i screwed the storage with resetting the userdata.img and it only showed 16gb out of 64 so i used the mega unbrick guide and now im back in buisness

Try this, pull out the battery, press the download mode combination(volume down, home button and power button) and while holding them insert the battery back again, if you are able to access download mode like that you might have a chance of unbricking your phone

That dosent sound like a hardbrick just a stuffed flash, put your Note 2 into download mode and reflash with ODIN should come back to life just fine. Do as mmk92 suggests pull battery and try and get download mode up.
Make sure u use the sammy cable for the note 2 not some cheap one and use a back USB port on your PC rather than front or a usb hub they can screw up the flash due to lots of reasons... good luck.
I had just successfully rooted my xperia play r800i and was installing CWM. After the installation was successful, I unplugged the phone as Flashtools said but it won't start. Now it's not even being detected by Flashtools. It is being detected by my laptop only with the beep sound and nothing else.
Also my battery was around 20% while I was flashing so maybe that had something to do with it.
Waiting for help by a generous XDA member, again.
Thanks in advance!

I think you should download firmware for your mobile and flash it.Put the firmware in sdcard/dload/update.app. by some card reader. Now insert sd card and press vol+ vol- and power button. Install firmware and also go to recovery mode and wipe cache. You can access recovery by pressing vol - and vol + button simultaneously.
Hope this works !!

is there any sign of connectivity with pc on inserting data cable?
I got the same issue trying to update to B117. Frozen dead. I'll bring it to the service today and get back when I have news on this.
Did you guys root or add custom roms ? Probably that interfering with update.
I've just rooted the phone and installed clockwork recovery. No custom ROM.
On the other hand it is strange that today the led started blinking red (battery under 10%). I've connected it to the charger and after sometime stopped blinking. So I draw the conclusion that the phone is in some idle frozen mode.
The issue is that the only thing I could do is to wait until the battery goes full dry and shuts down for real. Then charge it again and try to enter the factory mode.
I'll go on the warranty claim and see what the guys tell me.
If the battery would have been removable this would have been simple. I've never had this issue with no other older Android smartphone... and I've rooted and modded quite a few.
He returned the phone by service. Motherboard was broken.
My firmware now is P6-U06,Android_4.2,Emtion_UI,V100R001C678B103, kernel 3.0.8-00783-g2335f22.

In my case, the phone is still in service (1 week and counting). I assume it's going to have some hardware replaced. If it was just a software issue, this would have been solved way quicker. I am curious though whether is the same motherboard issue.
I tried to flash the new ver of TWRP 2.7 - it appeared to be ok after flashing. I then tried to reboot and my Nexus 7 is DEAD!
It had appox 70 charge so I am pretty sure that is not the problem. I have tried to manually boot into recovery - same result nothing.
Anyone have any ideas what I can do to fix the problem?
Thanks much!

How were you flashing it? Manually or toolkit? Can you get to the bootloader? If so, fastboot flash the factory image.

That is correct - Neither work, I have tried both many times.
I, also have connected it to my computer using the Nexus Tool Kit by Wugfresh. When I plug the usb cable into the Nexus there is a sound as if the computer sees the pad - but nothing works on the toolkit - it comes back saying it does no detect the ADB connection. it was working a couple of days ago when I used it.
STILL STUMPTED!

This is a stumper indeed.
How did you flash the new TWRP? Recovery, toolkit, or bootloader?
Are you using Windows? What shows up in the Windows Device Manager when you plug it into your computer?
This is a long shot, but sometimes you have to hold the power button down for more than a minute to get it to boot.

Hi -
I tried holding the power button down for over three minutes - no luck.
I downloaded the latest TRWP zip file from their website and then flashed it with the older version of TWRP - I thought I had done this before. Was that a bad move?
I am using Windows and the Device Manager shows the Yellow ! followed by "QHSUSB_Dload". I have no clue what that means - I hope it helps and someone recognizes it.
Thanks for the reply!

The TWRP site only has img files available for download, so I'm not sure which file you flashed.
I don't have any experience with qhusb_dload. Searching through the forums here didn't reveal much except to say that holding volume down and power eventually got to the bootloader.
Hopefully somebody else reading this has some ideas...

This is not true there is a flashable version too, that's how I flashed mine. Silly question have you plugged your pad into the mains charger for at least half an hour, and try again =hold down -volume and power botton. hope it works mate!

Bootloader is corrupt, no way one can bring it back on. I think you must have flashed recovery of some other device.
Send it back to asus or find someone who can jtag it.
Btw where are flashable zips of recovery on official twrp website? I have only seen img files
First things first, NEVER RESTORE A TWRP BACKUP YOU CREATED IN ONE VERSION IN ANOTHER VERSION.
Now coming to my situation, I installed the Deodexed Stable Zui Oreo ROM but as usual got bored with the zui and wanted to go back to my fav Pixel experience Rom so I clean flashed it from the unofficial hendibudi recovery but I couldn't use my internal storage and I once earlier read in another thread that installing 3.0.3 decrypts it so I installed that recovery and clean flashed AEX5.2 Rom this time and same internal storage problem continued so my lazy ass thought I'll restore the TWRP backup I created when I unlocked the bootloader instead of flashing through qfil and that was my mistake.
I created the backup on 3.1.0 but now I was on 3.0.3 so as soon as I restored the backup and rebooted, my phone didn't turn on, no zuk logo or led or anything, if I long press the power button it just vibrates and the led flashes for a sec, that's all.
Edit: feels like this thread belongs to the News/Discussions section than here but meh
Edit2: Solution in Post #4
It seems like qfil, mi flash method is last as your bootloader is also corrupted, and this happens because there are many critical hidden partition on our device so it mess up, when you install first twrp releases, you will notice there are 7 8 partition and in latest one they all are hidden.

well if it's that easy I wouldn't be worried at all but unfortunately my situation is a bit different, I can't flash anything as my phone is recognized as 900E, to flash anything the phone should be recognized in 9008(edl) mode and for that I have to strip the cable and short circuit with it and all that, which is really a hit or miss kinda situation so kinda worried!
But seems like I have no other choice so let's see what happens, I tried stripping the stock usb cable and it got split into half lmao
now I'll buy another cable and will try the copper wire method instead of splitting it
Edit: yeah ik that different versions of TWRP are different but I wanted to restore only the data partition and my data was already encrypted so I thought I have nothing to lose, I was like if it doesn't work I'll flash the full firmware again but didn't expect it to fully brick the phone
Okay the primary reason for me creating this thread was to let y'all know how I bricked my device so that y'all won't repeat my mistake but I saw some people here and there recently asking how to resurrect their device so thought I'll share how I got mine working wishing it'll help such people.
My phone was completely dead, the hardware buttons weren't doing anything, the phone doesn't power off but all I could see was a black screen, so I had to follow THIS GUIDE.
But the above situation is a rarity, I guess most of you ppl could get to the zuk logo or your led keeps flashing and you can use your hardware buttons, in such situations, follow THIS GUIDE.
The above links are for you to get your phone to 9008 mode to be able to flash the stock firmware, but if you don't know how to flash,
refer THIS GUIDE.

Only one solution is there.. after u get sahara error.. disconnect your phone and cable, then again turn your phone on. And then turn it off... After that press volume up+ power button simultaneously while connecting to the usb port, if you are successful, within 2-3 seconds you have to press the download button on QFIL.. then it should work... You can try 2-3 times... For demo, but thia is the only way out of this hard brick
.. i suffered in the sahara error for 3 days since i flashed OOS on my z2 , till today i finally got the solution

Not 2 minutes but i think 30 seconds at max.. and by successful i mean that you get into Qualcomm 9008 qdloader mode in qfil

The main thing is you have to immediately press the download button(within 2-3 seconds) after reconnecting into 9008 mode

Unfortunately learnt this after unbricking my device
I had installed RR mix rom in my Zuk Z2 plus. while trying to enter fastboot mode, it went off. Now it is completely dead. not being recoganized in my PC.In device manager it is not shown. Tried to deep flash through Qfil, but didn't recoganize port.If i plug in charger also no LED indication, If I disconnect battery & plug in for charging, white LED slowly blinks, in the same mode if I connect charger blinking white LED continues. But once I remove charge & reconnect it shows nothing. again if I remove battery & reconnect, again white LED starts blinking. Apart from this nothing is shown, phone completely dead. Can anybody help please. I tried through Qfil, tried by shorting black & green cable, all types of key combinations.
