Using Venom and my Bluetooth volume is stuck at 50% all of a sudden. How does one resolve this annoyance?
Thanks in advance
You have to get the popup window where you confirm that too loud music can damage your hearing. Try to connect an headphone on the 3.5mm Jack, pump up the volume and confirm.
If it doesn't happen something might be broken.

Is there any way to stop the phone from recognizing things that are plugged to show as having a microphone? I have several headphones that do not have any headset controls or microphone but when there plugged in there recognized as headsets instead of just headphones.
If it didn't really change anything I wouldn't care but the problem is when it's like this, if there is a loud enough noise genius button opens and tries to pick it up and will sometimes make calls, open apps etc.
So I just want to know if there is a way to temporarily disable this somwhow
I was having this same problem.. make sure you are pushing the headphone jack ALL the way down

I gave that a shot and it still does the same thing.
Hi there.
I know that some people have the problems that the volume lowers itself when Headphones are plugged IN but I have the problem that it lowers if they are plugged OUT. This is the feature "safe headset volume" which is deactivated on my phone.
I turn up my volume to highest and plug in headphones or AUX cable and I hear the sound with highest volume. Once I plug the headphones or AUX out the volume lowers automatically.
I'm on AOKP JB Nightly#13.
Anyone knows how to get rid off that behavior? I searched the forums and every setting on my phone. I didn't have that problem in the past..Maybe a bug in the AOKP nightly#13 build?
Thanks in advance

ok so i have a GSmart 202+ phone and when i connect any earphones with a button the music is kinda off and i can barly hear the lyrics,
But if i press the button on the earphones it plays the music normally.
can't anyone help me?
i think there is a difference between a head/earphone that have a mic and doesnt have a mic. the cables are terminated differently at the connector end.
mute buttom
This sound like to mute buttom been sired wrong way round.
Unless the earphone is specified to be use for your dvice, sometime with a mute button or so call microphone has issue with certain device.
the jack plug certainly play part of this issue, a normal earphone has only two separator on the plug while the one with microphone has 3 separator (black plastic gap). So for the 3 separator you will have issue to adjust hw deep you should plug it in so it will get the correct connection for the left and right sound channel.
I found this out by accident. If you plug anything into the ear phone jack, the alarm volume will go up by 20 to 25% from max volume. It only works for alarms. I am hearing impaired and this made a big difference to me when using the phone to wake me up.
I was trying to connect an amplified speaker to the ear phone jack which did not work ?????? but the volume went up when I inserted the plug in the ear phone jack....go figure.
Hey guys,
could any of you maybe check if you have the same issue with the headphone jack volume at a certain level.
The volume at about 30% (idk exactly because obviosly there aren't numbers when you change the level) is louder than the volume at 40%,50%,60% ... and then when I go one step up the loudness drops down again.
(This is really annoying if you're connected to a speaker amplifier)
So any of you have this issue?
