Alarm Volume Quirk - Huawei Mate 20 X Questions & Answers

I found this out by accident. If you plug anything into the ear phone jack, the alarm volume will go up by 20 to 25% from max volume. It only works for alarms. I am hearing impaired and this made a big difference to me when using the phone to wake me up.
I was trying to connect an amplified speaker to the ear phone jack which did not work ?????? but the volume went up when I inserted the plug in the ear phone jack....go figure.

volume in ear piece to high

hi!
does anyone have the same problem, that the volume in the ear piece (the one you are using when you are normaly taking a call and
hold the device to your ear) of the TP2 is pretty loud even on the lowest level?
snyfer
Does your headset have volume buttons on itsself ?
i mean the loudspeaker at the front of the HTC Touch pro 2 the one you are using when you are normaly taking a call and
hold the device to your ear
Yes, same issue on car bluetooth - too loud, TP2 BT output level is too high. I can reduce volume in car, but sound still remains a bit distorted. Not so cool but I can live with it.

sorry but I do not meant a bluetooth device - possibly there is
a better wording for that?

Remember headphone volume

I have a set of great in-ear headphones, but they tend to be quite loud (because of the excellent seal around the ear canal). I turn down the media volume to about half when I have the headphones in, but then I have to remember to also turn down the ringer volume, or an incoming call will deafen me.
Is there any way to have my EVO remember what all my volume settings were the last time I had headphones plugged in, and remember that for every time (and go back to normal when I take the headphones out)?
I'm running Froyo (Cyanogenmod), if that matters.

[Q] Docking station ringtone volume

My issue is the ring tone volume when placed on the dock (which has a headphone jack built in). The actual noise that come from the phone not through the headphones jack but as a result of plugging the headphones jack in.
If you ring your phone, then plug a headphone jack into it while it is ringing you will hear what I mean, the ring tone goes very quiet, then when you pull it out the ring tone returns to normal (loud) again. I just want to be able to plug a jack into the phone without the ring tone level changing at all.
Basically unless your are sat next to your phone whilst it is in the dock you will miss any calls that come in............... very annoying, especially as apart from this issue the dock is a cracking bit of kit.
I've tried Dock Volume - no good.

CM10: WHY such painfully loud volume when switching audio output?

I swear to god my right ear is damaged from this.
If I go from listening to music with one thing to another, be it my bluetooth to headphones, headphones to different headphones, etc., the volume ALWAYS starts off EXTREMELY LOUD when the sound begins, until I hit the volume keys.
Why? Why does this STILL happen?
There's even a setting in Sound that is supposed to prevent this. That's like a straight slap to my face.
