Hello, xda-developers community!
I'm a fresh member of this community so let me say hello first. Recently I got Nexus 5X and I was doing some research about this phone. The smartphone doesn't have double-tap feature, but from what I know the CPU supports this thing. So, is there any way to enable double-tap function on Nexus 5X? Not gonna lie, it would be so helpful in daily use to double-tap to see notifications insted of clicking the power button.

ElementalX kernel supports this
Hi,
Do you think it is possible (and safe) to change the DPI of the Huawei Watch (rooted) ? Has anyone ever tried ?
I think I'll try but I liked to get feedback.
Thanks.
Is anyone working on a kernel to enable monitor mode on the built in wireless interface?
bump
I have used both Kalipwn and Nethunter , I have never come across any phone or tablet that has a wireless chipset capable of monitor mode, every setup I personally had Nexus 7, Nexus 9, Nexus 6P and ran Nethunter , I always had to have external USB wifi adapter capable of monitor mode like the RTL or a Broadcom version.

We would need a kernel that supports it, if someone could build one, you can merge the kali nethunter kernel here:

The Nexmon Project is the most Brilliant Thing ever.I am able to patch firmware of Various devices and run monitor mode by Preloading a lib file.Take a look and if your device's chip is listed then you just got lucky.

There is now a Kali kernel in the rom section

I wondered if MirrorLink was possible with the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G?
(This isn't the same as Android Auto which almost every Android device is capable of. MirrorLink is quite an exclusive feature)
The official Mirrorlink website is very slow to update and by the time it does Note 10 will be old news. So I'd like to know if it can do it now? Can anyone confirm if it does or doesn't?
Plus points for those who've actually done it.
Thank you!!

yes ,I have a note 10+ and mirrorlink works fine
I actually use ARU unrooted with it on a Microsoft wireless display adapter(mirrorlink)
Yep. Here's a screenshot from my Note 10+
Hi, I’ve been hunting all over the web hoping to see how I can mirror any app to my cars infotainment screen with a new Note 10+5g from Verizon. I’ve been using the iPhone jailbroken for a few years now so I’m behind on Android compared to back in the day when I was deep into Android adding roms or simply rooting my Android device. If I bought this new Note 10+5g from Verizon, I am hoping to stream a movie app to the car’s screen even while the car is moving for passengers to watch. The car has CarPlay and Android Auto and the screen also has a “projection” icon because it’s a Chevy. I stumbled upon this post and you sound like you know how to do this. Can you verify how I can go forward keeping in mind I will be buying the Verizon variant of the phone? I just need to be certain this is possible or the phone won’t work for my needs. Thanks in advance for any assistance at all. Would be very grateful. Also, just out of curiosity, do you happen to know if the Verizon variant can be rooted? I’ve found no easy answer because you never know if people are talking about the Exynos version in the development posts. Thank you so much for possibly answering.
Solution
Hey folks,
I'm new. Came in via Google for this very problem.
I've read the posts but saw nowhere a solution or remedy.
If there's any info available I just got the Note10+ 5gcand I kept saying to everyone. There's gotta be a way to mirror by now.... Etc etc
Anyhow if anyone could let me know how to do this that would be great.
Thank you,
Muntsy

no ,you need a Pioneer Radio with a hdmi imput and that supports appradio
use android auto and open it up so you can add other apps if you don't have that type of radio
the thread link I sent you will explain everything
and yes ,you don't need root

My Galaxy Note 10+ 5G used to work with mirrorlink, but when I upgraded to Androd 10, mirrorlink stopped working. Samsung were no use, saying that my car was the problem. In the end I downgraded the OS to Android 9 to get mirrorlink working again.
