Hi,
Do you think it is possible (and safe) to change the DPI of the Huawei Watch (rooted) ? Has anyone ever tried ?
I think I'll try but I liked to get feedback.
Thanks.

Hey,
i´ve just received my Note 8.0. So far, so good ...but what is really annoying me is the dpi setting. It looks more like a granny device to me or for those with eye/visual problems.
Long story short: Did anyone try to mess with the dpi settings already?
And if so: any luck/recommendations?

Hello!
I'm new here, I just purchased an MTCB-KLD6 V2.86 with Android 5.1 for my Renault Megane 2.
I would like to change the Music stock app to another player app and make it the default system player. In my phone I use RocketPlayer and I like very much.
Can it be done? I guess I would have to do root ..... that gives me a little fear hehehe
Thank You!
I've not found the way to do this on a lollipop based ROM. On 4.4 (malysk ROM) I used XposedMTC to set the right app and disable inputs.
Can anybody confirm that we cannot do this anymore on 5.1? For me, this would definitely be the reason to switch back to 4.4.
I would also make Rocket default player.
I can use it "manualy" but steering wheel prew/next buttons trigers on radio or default music app.

Hello!
I've been using Android N on my 5x for a while, but I missed Xposed too much and snapchat started to refuse cooperating, so I downgraded to Marshmallow.
The only thing I miss from Nougat is the DPI setting, I've gotten used to having it smaller on N. So my question is, what is the DPI set to when you choose the "Smallest" (leftmost) option in the Display Size setting on Android N? Googling turned up nothing, and I need to know this number so I can manually set it on Marshmallow.
Thanks in advance!

That's the default density. For future reference to anyone who might find this thread, the number I was looking for was 356.

Hi Everyone,
Honor 7x doesn't come with hide app feature, i tried to find it but seems Huawei not include on EMUI 5.1 Android Nougat 7.0. Just to make sure I'm only one has this issue or you hvee the same? So, any suggestions to operate this feature without third party apps?
Thanks in advance for your reply!
How Serious Is This ?

Hello...
Two Questions Come To Mind...
1) Are you simply trying to deny access to a person or persons of the Application in question ?
2) Are you trying to hide something nefarious... that your Wife / Girlfriend (Boyfriend) / Kids can't see due to embarassment ?
If your choice is: *Number 1* then you can do it by going to: Settings / Security & Privacy/ App Lock.. Just chose your code.
If your choice is: *Number 2* Then................. You need to..eh... search elsewhere (3rd Party Software)..

P.S.
Keep Your Device Stock!
Rooting at this stage of the game is a waste of time... the updates you are about to receive far outweigh what you can do with root.. even if it gives you access to something that can gesture hide your app.
And there are no easy methods to return to stock for the foreseeable future..

Try the pinch out gesture on the home screen and you will get a vault like pop up where you can add any app to hide it. There is no password protection though.
Hi all,
I have joined you as a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 owner migrating from Huawei MediaPad X2.
I am used to TWRP and flashing ROMs
What ROM do I have installed ? (see screen shots attached)
What are my options with regards ROMs ? I see there is an Oreo nightly beta , how would I install it ?
Thank you
Also anyone recommend a case ideally transparent (I got the white full ceramic special edition 8/128Gb) but also that can also act as a stand for the phone in landscape orientation for media viewing
Regards
Mark

If you find a clear case with a stand please let me know. I'd love one of those!
