[Q] Disable sms notification/wakeup screen, but keep vibrate ON

Hey guys title says it all. I feel like there has to be a way to disable this feature.
I KNOW that going into notification settings under the messenger app allows you to completely kill all notifications, but I just want to disable having the screen wake up everytime upon receiving a text, BUT still be able to vibrate.. \
It seems like the only way to have the one fixed is to kill both? Maybe I am missing something.

Maybe a third party SMS app like GO SMS or Handcent?

on any notification from email, whatsapp, sms, etc...

On the ICS ROM I'm running it gives the option to wake the screen under message settings when an sms is recieved. Not sure about gmail and other apps.

You are looking for the BLN mod (button light notification). Try searching for it, I know to enable it, it must be enabled in the kernal.

Not sure if you are just looking for a simple application for waking up the screen, but there is an application that can display notification as well as setting that can wake up your screen. It's called NotifierPro. A lil' bit like Notification Centre in iOS. Here, take a look at it.

I'll give it a try - EDIT: does the work but unlock the screen too :\
-BLN mod is just for the keys to light up i meant to wake up the phone to lock screen

The application's new update adds up wakelock, with an option to unlock the phone and wake timeout. Give it another try.

[Q] Tasker & screen off

I use a Tasker profile that in case of missed call or missed SMS every "X" time, remind the missed event with a vibration in case the volume is <=0 or with a sound in case the volume of the phone is > 0.
The problem: this profile works only when the screen is ON but neither in the profile, nor in the task there is a condition about the status of the screen!
Tasker's accessibility service is already enabled.
Why other profiles that switch on or off WiFi or bluetooth work while the screen is OFF?
There is something special about Z1C, Tasker to know?
Any smart Tasker user can help me, please?

Are you using Stamina mode? That may be preventing Tasker from running when you turn the screen off.

I'm using Stamina mode but I have found a solution right now!
In task properties flag keep device awake... et voilà!

How can I deactivate the Alert Slider?

Hi Community,
How can I deactivate the Alert Slider? I use Tasker to automate my soundsetting.
The Slider blocked my settings and i hope i can deactivate the Slider without root

I have the same issue I used 3rd party app from play store to add sound profile tile in my notification bar but the slider disables it everytime. Please let me know if there is any way to display it without rooting the device.

Is there a way to set priority/position of app notifications?

Is there a way of prioritising notifications so that a specific app's notifications will always appear at the top of the list?
I have a video doorbell app which I'd always like to access quickly if the doorbell is pressed.
