How can I deactivate the Alert Slider? - OnePlus 7T Questions & Answers

Hi Community,
How can I deactivate the Alert Slider? I use Tasker to automate my soundsetting.
The Slider blocked my settings and i hope i can deactivate the Slider without root

I have the same issue I used 3rd party app from play store to add sound profile tile in my notification bar but the slider disables it everytime. Please let me know if there is any way to display it without rooting the device.

Notification when screen is on

Hi
There is any way to disable notifications (sound and vibrate) only when screen is on?
Thx you
Using an automation app like Tasker, Llama, IFTT, etc.

Is there any way for Tasker to detect the position of my OnePlus 3 alert slider?

My biggest problem with the OnePlus 3 is that they made the alert slider the only way to control Do Not Disturb modes. No automation.
So I have setup Tasker to do the automation, changing the modes throughout the day/night and it works great. However, there are occasionally situations where I want to put my phone in silent mode (a meeting for example), but I know that Tasker is scheduled to turn off silent mode half way through the meeting.
So if Tasker could somehow detect what position the alert slider is in, I could easily make it so that Tasker won't change DND modes if the slider is in certain positions.
Is there any way to accomplish this?

This seems to have Tasker support for an IAP

Thanks for the idea!
Unfortunately that requires Xposed and I'm running Nougat.

It is a guide to changing notifications mode according to slider position.
You can probably use the same variables for your own profiles.

Notification reminder

Is it possible to configure the edge light up for notifications reminder like how new notification is received? Currently seem like can only configure sound and vibration.

There's a app in the Play store. Search Note 10 Notifications, you'll find it. Make sure you go through the app settings to configure it.

Question Outdoor mode quick settings tile

Hi
First off, I'm trying to keep my phone unrooted.
I was looking into creating a quick settings tile to toggle sound outdoor mode.
I managed to do it with macrodroid but the helper app is out of date and a security message pops up. So I'm now looking for other options. I do have "custom quick settings". Which I think should be able to do it I just don't know how.
Thanks

toggle "sound outdoor mode" - do you mean toggle between earpiece and loudspeaker? have you tried using Tasker and mapping to an Air Trigger setting?

No. The phone has an outdoor more where the max volume of the speaker is increase as the expense of quality.
Trying to keep the number of apps in the background to minimum
