I plugged in my Pixel XL to charge and fell asleep. I woke up to the phone being frozen and had to force it to power down and reboot. I am rooted but I don't know if that was a factor. Has anyone else experienced this?

I am running Codename 1.0.2 and the other night my Verizon GNex shutdown on its own, with plenty of battery remaining. I tried to turn it on the normway way, but nothing happened. I then plugged it in to the charger just in case it had gone dead (though this was unlikely, because it had close to 60% battery within an hour before I noticed that it had shut down). This did not allow it to turn on, so I pulled the battery numerous times, still nothing. I tried to boot into recovery/bootloader and still the phone wouldn't respond. Finally after continuing to pull the battery and plug/unplug it into the charger, the phone finally responded and it is back up and running. At the time it shut down, I was not flashing ROMs or anything, it was just sitting on my desk just minding its' own business. Any thoughts on why this might have happened, or is there anyone with a similar experience? As of now (over 24 hours later) it has not had the issue again. Thanks!
Hello everyone,
I am currently having a problem with my note 2, running DN4v2 rom. My battery got drained today so I wanted to charge it. However, when I plug in the charger the phone auto-boots. Because there is no juice left in the battery the device goes into a loop of shutting down and powering up. Does anyone have a solution for this? How can I stop the phone from automatically booting whenever the charger gets plugged in?
Thanks in advance.
Edit:
Managed to solve it by putting the charger in a good number of times for 7 seconds and pull it out before the phone could boot. It barely got my phone staying on, on 0% but long enough for the charging process to keep on going. Mods may delete this or maybe let it open for others who run into the same issue.
Last night I was using my phone while it was charging, but the battery was being depleted by the apps I was running faster then it was being charged. When it got down to around 3% I decided to call it a night, tapped the power button to turn off the screen, and put my phone on my nightstand so it could charge overnight like I usually do. Shortly after that I heard the phone vibrate where it shut itself off due to the battery dying which I've had happen before while trying to charge my battery when it gets to a very low charge percentage, so I didn't think anything of it and went to sleep.
This morning when I woke up I saw that my phone was stuck on the "Samsung Note II" black bootup screen and tried holding the power button to turn it off. That didn't work so I took out the battery and reinserted it. When I tried to power it back on nothing happened and even though the charger was plugged in there was no red or green charging indicator LED showing.
Since then I've tried taking out the battery and leaving it out while holding the power button for 30 seconds which I read is supposed to clear the RAM in case that is causing an issue. I've also tried connecting my Note 2 to my computer using another charging cable and it still doesn't show as charging or as being connected to my PC. I've had it plugged in for about 3 hours now in case my battery had been completely drained since it may have been stuck on the bootup screen all night long but so far after around 3 hours I'm still not getting any response from my phone.
Now I'm completely at a loss of what to do so I was hoping someone here who had a similar issue could help or if there are any other remedies for troubleshooting I could try go through. I've ordered a replacement battery from amazon which comes with an external charger but I won't be receiving it until Monday. The only other remedy I've found online is removing a capacitor but I'm going to be holding off on doing that until I've exhausted every other option available.
Phone Specs:
Samsung Galaxy Note 2
SGH-T889 (T-Mobile)
Android 4.3 (I think)
Rooted but not running any custom ROMs
Hi Community,
I got a weird problem and hope you could have a look at it:
After a normal day, i recharge my Google Pixel XL during night on the charger shipped with the device.
Since a week or so my Pixel XL reboots somewhere in the night during charging on the default charger. This behavior only happens on the Google charger (the one shipped with the phone) and it doesn't happen when I don't charge the phone.
Any idea why this happens? Are there any logs or something where I can track down why the phone restarts?
Hi, I just got an RMA device and realized that while I am charging (with original charger), after a few minutes or so my screen becomes laggy. Not unusable but just laggier than when it's not plugged in. It gets fixed for a few minutes by turning off my display and turning it back on, but then it comes back. Anyone else have this problem?

I would think if plugging in gets you lag it might possibly be from syncing Google Photos and updating apps. I use my phone while plugged in during my driving and Android Auto or playing YouTube and screen reaction feels fine.
