Hey guys , so I own this great device and I am really happy that I own this, but there are problems I donot know how to solve. I searched the internet ALOT but couldn't get any result . I'd be really happy if you guys can help me : . Firstly I own the Gt-p5200 version of the tab , rooted , stock rom and stock kernel, no mods with Xposed or anything.
So the first problem is about the battery and I''ll go directly into it. I tried 3 Info apps ( Like Aida , Cpu z ) and each one showed different results of battery capacity. You can see those in the first three pics but I'll tell it here anyway .
Aida 64 - By android - 2100 mAh, by Database - 6400 mAh
Cpu-Z - 6400 mAh
Cpu z - 2100 mAh
You'd know the reaction on my face after I saw this . Why is it like this ?
The second problem is... I dont know under what category it comes in. Before I play games , I usually go to kernel adiutor to change the governor from interactive to ondemand/performance so that i could get better performance , but after I finish playing the games and go to kernel adiutor back to change the governor , I see that the device was in 1333 Mhz most of the time than on 1600Mhz but at the same time there was not much heating ( or atleast i couldnt feel it, I take the cover off while gaming. ) , the CPU never exceeds 57 degrees. So I went back to these info apps and in the thermal section I found that "msicdie" was at 69 degrees !! Other temperatures were normal , nothing exceeded 50 except Core0 and Core1 but this thing was always above 50 degrees ! I think 50 degrees for a cpu while gaming is okay and I think the frequency drops to 1333 mhz because of msicdie. So what is msicdie ? Why is it going to such high temps ? Please help me in this. ( Last 2 pics for more info ).
And for the last one , is it possible to change GPU frequencies on our tablet ? I just want to get the maximum performance from this tablet .
Thank you .
Anyone there ? Need help , msicdie goes upto 82 degrees C while gaming !

Hi,
I got this very weird results from Quadrant:
@ standard voltage for 300/600/1000 I get 1450 points
@ 22/33/53 voltage for the same clock I get only 1100 points
=> so the performance is directly dependant on voltage, not clock! My system ran stable for days under all circumstances.
to be more precise: Only the voltage for Vsel3 (= 1000mhz in my case) is important
What does that mean ? Can someone explain ?
nope..thats now true..try to run the test again..i bet u will get comparable difference in score..
more vsel value does nor give more score..
processor needs some minimum amount of voltage(threshold) to run smoothly..once it crosses the minimum voltage the remaining voltage is the excess voltage..which doesnt affect the performance of the cpu..and excessive voltage produces heat which is not gud for the mobile
so do the test again or even lower the vsel value and test again..u will not get less score(if u get less score then do the test again and u may get more score).
btw pls correct me if i m wrong
I ran the test about 5 times with each setting.
@ 55 voltage I always get good results, below 54 I always get bad results.
strange...i have [email protected],[email protected],[email protected] get 2200+
btw i m running CM7
yeah I know that CM7 is very effective but I'm still afraid of the whole flashing process... And I don't know if CM7 can be returned to stock froyo if necessary...
I'm on nordic right now, which I flashed with RSDlite...
its very easy to flash CM7..just follow the tutorial..u should try CM7..it is awesome..
All the best
Hey guys, i dont know if this has been already posted or if anyone else has noticed , some how...my cpu in Xperia s underclocks to 800 MHz by itself , after some heavy usage like gaming (till it gets a little bit hot i guess , maybe its some protective measure?? ) , and i notice a sudden lag spike after playing several minutes or so..when i check the cpu usage (overclocking options in xzx2 ), it shows 824 Mhz, and this happens all too often, before i thought the lag was caused by the RAM(because of near full memory) , and anyway, i just wanna know, if this is like a protective feature or its something serious ?? ....thanks in advance for any help... and if this is already been posted somewhere else, then, gladly remove my post !!
It's nothing strange. It's named throttling. It turning on automatically to avoid burning your CPU.
Sent from my LT26i using xda developers-app
Thanks for the reply, Vaith... !! now i know...now google searching throttling to understand a bit more !! thanks again
hi guys , since i got my HTC one x , i always looking for a way to increase my phone performance , as you know the HOX has a less performance as it should have . but in net or somewhere else i see some peoples gets so better performance than my device . in example if you download antutu benchmark x edition that says this version is for stoping cheats , there is some peoples that gets 28000 , 19000 and ... score in antutu but on my device i can't get more than 10800 , how it is possible which rom they use for getting this amazing performance ? i tried so many Roms and even i worked hard on Overclocking using deferent Governers and ... but i just got a bit more performance and it was not so much .
so do you think all this peoples cheats or there is any way for it ? HOX always lags on games , like asphalt 8 , it's not too lagy but still lags and i just searching for a rom or a kernel that gives me better performance as the others get . so can anybody help me how to do it ? which rom is faster , i mean not just in Benchmarks like CM roms , i need really better FPS on games . is there any way ?

No they are not cheat just they use custom kernel with OC on the GPU and boost the max freq to 1,5GHz on all cores. The OC is not only change governor have lot more things

yaa i know the OC is not just changing kernels , but i mean it's some how impossible to reach 24000 points . htc one max with 1.7 krait and 2 gig ram get this point . the most point that i got ever was with sky dragon rom + lonelyx kernel that is really fantastic , but the score is 17374 . i put the max mhz on graphic cheap , turned oon all Cpu cores value to 1.5Ghz and .... but how they got 24000 points ? i think i just set everything to the maximum that is possible , because increasing the overclock value on graphic chip or cpu cores makes phone really unstable and you will not even finish the test process and your phone will be shut down .
i just want to know if is there anyway that i can get better performance , i'm now really happy with new Lonelyx kernel , but i'm wonder it's really possible to make it even better ?!!!
As Thant told you..Play with your kernel, try other kernels..OC gpu and cpu..But with that you must be very careful
And maybe HOX simply can't reach that number of points ^^
Hi guys i just got an Xperia ZL C6502 months ago and its a big headache im telling you the cellphone is great but whats really happening
The problem is that in heavy use the Snapdragon S Pro 600 Quad to 1.5ghz comes over 65°c or 149°F wich is absolute damn high so what? it drains the battery from 100% to 0% in around 2 or 3 hours and the cellphone is hot as hell, and not only in games, using apps like Whatsapp, Facebook, etc too.
When im not using it it drains normal ammount of battery like 2 or 3% per hour but when i use it a little while at least it drains 10% of it and im like charging it 2 or 3 times per day.
It has the lastest version of Android supported by it wich is 5.1.1 and rooted by Kingroot App i thougth that rooting it i was able to change the CPU frequencys but here comes the problem, i tried a lot of apps and no one seems to result, my intention was to clock it to 384 thath it seems to be the minimum it tolerates and 809 to maximum to reduce the battery consumption and the CPU heat but when i clock it or push the "apply this settings at startup" the clocks are set to 1512mhz minimum and maximum.
My question is, why this is happening and if there is a solution to my problem.
Sorry for my bad english im spanish and thanks by the way
Anyone?
Hello, first of all the right processor of this device is the Snapdrangon s4 pro (APQ8064).
Related to your problem I think you could try installing another CPU control app, there is one I've used before and is on the playstore "No-frills CPU control". Install it and change the CPU governor to "conservative" or try others... Hope this is helpful for you.
PD: I'm Mexican and speak Spanish also, send me a Personal Message if you want, I think I could help you
Hi guys I have an HTC One M8 , bought for nearly two months because I found an opportunity . I know that is not the latest model , but I have always heard great things about it . It is currently installed rom stock MM and Sense 7 ; in my typical day , the usual 16 hours of use ( 8am - 24pm ) get 3h and means of display on, sometimes 4 hours, sometimes 3h and 15 min etc . I would kindly ask you which rom and kernel do you recommend ( maybe a kernel that lowers the CPU voltage , or that it downclocks a little bit frequency ) based on Sense 7 to optimize fuel consumption and improve the autonomy ?
Thanks so much :good:

Dont get too much indulged in saving battery etc , android is never meant for that... As far as your question concerns, try latest Leedroid Rom V 8.2.2 .. check in development section... It has good battery backup...
