I was wondering if anyone has tried to install Magisk after flashing the sprint firmware and then the verizon files. Id rather not test it myself because flashing things seem to always go bad for me. (Xposed for example) If anyone actually installed this, let me know!

SuperSU can't update the binaries or it can't install the binaries? You can install the app SuperSU without being rooted all day long, but the binaries can't be installed via SuperSU; so if installing is the problem, that's why. Download a root checker app and make sure you actually have root; if not, you'll have to root again. As far as voiding the warranty, if you flashed a custom recovery (which you said you have TWRP now) then your warranty is void.
Can anyone give me pointers. I came from note 3 and things was easy. Any thing I need to be aware of since I am on lg now.
Download rom, boot into recovery, wipe system, data, cache. Install rom, reboot.

Id say for now stick to the stock rom, remove as much bloatware as possible and install the xposed modules you like ( you must be rooted, obviously) But as for now there isn't many roms available. Just wait i guarantee you there are going to be a plethora coming out soon.
If you want to root and remove bloatware easy use PurpleDrake tool

My sister has been playing Pokemon Go with galaxy note 2 (n7100) last month and now she can't login due to new update (0.37) that restricts use of any custom ROMs I assume. I've tried removing and hiding root but no luck. There is DN4 rom installed and it is so good that I don't like to change it without purpose. Can someone share your experience with this game? Can you play it using modded/stock 4.4.2 roms? Or maybe using Magisk on newer roms?.. What a cruel way to ruin childern mood, Niantic!
Magisk is supposed to work. But try at your own risk.

OR you can always install the older version (if they still let you play it, but No Buddy System in it.)
Hi, i've the same issue.
I'm french user, i tried "hide my root" apk, i never cheat with the root it only necessary for me to block ads and because of cheaters we are blocked !
I have no success with hiding root.
Is the 0.37 update upgrade the test of compatible device and made the GN2 definitively unavailable or is the root ability which made issues ?
Thanks
So.. just a thought.. but technically if I am not mistaken.. This sud work out..
1. Use kingoroot and root ur device.
2. Install lucky patcher and install flygps/fake gps app as a system app (this way mock locations isn't required to be turned on)
3. Unroot using the same app, kingoroot claims it unroots as well.
4. Play pokemonGo.
Since I really can't find anything about the compatibility of Magisk with the Verizon Note 7 with root access from the userdebug kernal, I want to ask if anyone has flashed the SuperSu 2.78 SR1 beta and suhide to get android pay and other apps that block their access with root to work? Im wanting to try to install this so I can use said apps, but I want to make sure that it is actually safe to use it. Ive had issues installing xposed so Im just being cautious on what I mess with on my Note 7.
Im going off of this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/suhide-t3450396
Yea it bricked my phone.
I tired to install it on my Verizon Note 7, it blocks my phone from booting up due to custom binary blocked by secure boot (boot.img) after installing suhide.

Same... Im stuck at work without a phone for now.... Wish I would have just waited for people to tell me no instead of saying screw it and installing it.
Im just gonna reroot it when I get home in 3 hours...
Ouch, that sucks. I tried Magisk but it says I have to root through them, and I believe it has to be a systemless root. Anyway I didn't go further with it as it's just way too much work to get Samsung pay. I'm bummed that so few people are able to root, it seems we are stuck with not much help.
So after doing a lot of reading, I learned a few things.
1) Titanium back up and root doesn't seem to work (at least on Oreo) and installed Magisk
2) You really can't debloat device, without jumping through all kinds of hoops.
Question has anyone one with Sprint successfully installed any of the many roms? and which have you installed? with no issues ie: still have service etc... I want more than anything a rom that works, and is debloated of all the OEM junk, and be able to install mods of my own. Thanks.

I have been off of stock since Feb and haven't looked back. Almost everything works. Only service that isn't working is volte and WiFi calling.
