isnt it only illegal to download or provide the content? maybe more unethical to stream to your tv but dont think its illegal for those simply streamin a video off the internet

Depends where you live. It isn't illegal if you stream where I live just unethical
Best Kodi Add-on
My favorite Kodi add on is not even an ADD-on. I like a specific Build with all the add ons in it.
Google this: "spinz kodi builds"
I like The Royalist build; mostly because it has an interface that doesn't look like a poster you'd find on the wall of a teenage boy's bedroom. Nice, clean and minimalistic. Very tasteful
Dear god spare us the sad story lol
For me it's Ice Films, Kiss (Anime, Cartoon), and US TV Now.

Same here... Though in theory you could still be in trouble if you manage to get caught. The thing is it's to much bother for the Rights holders to just go after everyone with a Kodi Box. And for the moment there is no criminal code in the books to stop anyone from doing so.
So at worst it's a civil offence, and until that changes its up to one's own moral compass to judgde.
But is it not odd that the fist Ones to yapp up about this, are also the first ones that also condone ripping their DVDs & Bluerays into their NAS Boxes? Of course you point that hypocrisy to such People at you own risk. Of course back than it was still about how to read a TV Subscription SmartCard to be shared along a line of Networked DVRs. Again not against the law as such... But, definitely against the T&C's of the Contact.
I use Paradox build on all my devices.
Its quality one stop solution with frequent updates and good support
cali cord cutters krypton build with kodi 17 rc2.. ftw

Been on the zune website and the only way you can download the software is to get it from the american site, so I'm wondering when the new WP7 handsets come out and have zune access on them will we in england be able to use the service to buy music and videos (if they do it). Ive been looking though the site and the web but not really heard much about it.
As it stands we can only use zune on our xbox 360's and then it uses a stupid point system to purchase instead of saying "that will be £2.99 please", this is one of the reason I prefer the Playstation Networks film service it has more films and uses real money... on the other side its so slow to download anything
Anyway I digress, has anyone heard anything about the zune network and would like to share the info please
I can feel your pain, mate... I live in Belgium and had imported a Zune 80 gb a couple of years back and been happily using it until it died on my last year...
But I use everyday the Zune software, IMHO it's the best out there (unless for .mkv and .flac playback...)
Look, they haven't said muck, but with the Kin due to come out in Germany, and WP7 latter this year, well, it's only a matter of time until they bring out the Zune Pass over in Europe.
Have faith

Wat .
Yes, they have said that the Zune software (and service, not sure to what extent) will be available in all countries where Kin and WP7 are sold.

I mainly just want ffvII and metal gear solid.
If people will share the sites they use for roms, that'd be great!

It would also be against xda's no warez policy. Use Google. The damn emulator will even input the search terms for you.
What he said. There are no "legit" sites that sell rips of game CDs. You can rip your own or you can hunt around for rips of games you own.
While most wouldn't find ripping or downloading images of discs you own to be immoral, the distribution of them is probably illegal. Honestly you can find these kinds of things through any major search engine but I doubt this site wants anything to do with the legal or ethical implications.
sorry. I didn't realize this was against the rules. Any admins can go ahead and delete this thread. I'll just do my own dirty work.
It would be COOL if you could find ROMS...

I like many people on the internet do not normally purchase software, BUT psx are so cheap now, If you cant find it illegally, GO BUY THE GAME! seriously, Pawn shops and used games stores will sell psx games for less then $5.

They praise it and claim it's the future and all mobile devices depend on it.
I may be wrong in this case, but as far as I remember they didn't claim it's the future. All they said was that still loads of websites use Flash and it's not gonna replaced with HTML5 any time soon.
Personally I don't give a damn about Flash support in mobile browsers. I barely use the browser anyways.

In all my time with Android, and I have a lot of time, I still actively flash my HD2, my girlfriend's MyTouch, and play with a variety of Androids just to know what I'm having an opinion about, I've only used Flash maybe twice. I mean, my biggest need for it was YouTube, but there are dedicated players, addons, and now HTML5 support... This hopefully will allow Adobe to use its resources on more important mobile aspects, such as our official reader which needs work.

It's not all about YouTube or other video streaming sites. There are several sites that offer services that utilize flash on their site, rendering them useless when your browser doesn't support flash. But like I said, I wouldn't care to browse these sites on a mobile device anyways. But it's not up to me alone.

But that's my point, my only need on the phone was for streaming, as any site worth any mobile browsing has a mobile version. What bothers me the most about these people who say they -MUST- browse these flash heavy sites is that they're the same people constantly using mobile bandwith as an excuse against things like the cloud. So, you can't transfer a 19kb .doc file, but you can browse extremely large flash sites? But I'm like you, I have no interest in most full sites on my phone anyway.
Whatever will be chosen in the future for devices, it's fine with users.
Until devices simply support these features.
So until Flash is not effectively dead in every website etc., it should be supported. And will be, on some platforms.
I know that many users here use the browser mainly for posting on forums,
but some other use it actually for something.
But discussing with idiocy is completely pointless.
I think users should be given a choice. If Microsoft doesn't want to support flash with their IE9, it's okay. But they should give companies like Opera or whatsoever the opportunity to develope their own native browser which may then support flash.
I for one mainly use the browser for searching purposes. I have dedicated apps for most other things I do on my smartphone. These apps offer exactly what I need and expect and do their job better than a website could do on such a small display. But that's me. Each to his own.

How come every other post you send refers to Board Express?

My wifes old photography website was purely flashed based (built using WIX)and found it embarrasssing when prospective customers couldnt view on their Apple iDevices for example. She was forced to use a pure HTML website instead (WordPress).
Not a personal attack, facts about his arguments in every thread. HTML5 is the topic here, not Silverlight.

No way to do it until all the internet will revert to HTML 5.
So, I won't be able to watch my daughter volleyball games streamed live on livestream.com anytime soon in my HD7 or live soccer games @ rojadirecta.es
Too bad.

you could petition livestream to port there iphone app iphone has no flash yet it has an app so happy days for them. Flash would kill your phone unless your on a power cord and then you probhave a laptop with a screen that has an apropriate size to watch it without flacking out like flash does on android.

NFPS. I suggest strongly stay away from public trackers. dish constantly monitors these events. I've seen nfps up for long but isin't NFPS reseller Wuffman that sold subs info to dish.

Its too risky of a water to play with. Surely the match isin't anywhere that expensive to buy legally. Its fun as a hobby for sure but the risk that comes with it. No thank you. !!
In canada its not illegal to watch internet streams.. the one who could be breaking the law is the one serving the feed, not the client accessing it.. (torrents are now illegal as you serve some data out... streames only come in, there is a difference..) using stalker is no different than using icefilms, or primewire, or any other of the plethora of streaming sites out there.
It was different when NFPS was doing purely IKS.. because they were providing encryption keys.. and using unauthorized decryption keys IS illegal in canada. IPTV streams come already decoded.. 2 very different beasts.
But don't take my word for it, im no lawyer. as navigates says, use at your own risk.
BUMP
Is it possible to add a working VPN on the firestick? I was going to try IPvanish for a month until I noticed that once you sign up and pay for that month you are tied in for a longer period and funds auto deducted. I just want a pay as you go sort of thing if it's not free of course.
I want to be able to use all my addons on Kodi not just a few due to the ip limitations. :good:
I guess, to use VPN on Fire TV or Fire TV Stick, it must be rooted. Smart DNSes like Smart DNS Proxy can be used to access geo restricted content.
Can the new fire sticks with the latest software update still be rooted ? I read somewhere that currently the only way to root the Fire TV Stick is to directly manipulate the file system by soldering leads to the 8GB storage chip. I've not heard of Smart DNSes or DNS Proxy so I'll look into that now. Is it straight forward to setup and will it allow me to use the USB stick aboard and still get access to geo restricted content ?
As far as I know there is no easy way to root the Fire TV Stick.
Yes, DNSes like Smart DNS Proxy is very easy to set up and can be used from anywhere in the world to access geo restricted content.
Maybe once you subscribe, you can also push your referral link on other people, friends and family members whenever the topic comes up to try to earn further commissions and "increase your bank account."
https://www.smartdnsproxy.com/Affiliates
You can alter the provided link if you don't want to be used as "a referral."
There are lots of other competing services out there, not just ones that use Amway style marketing.
Maybe the link spam wouldn't have rubbed me the wrong way if gopichandpai had been a little more honest in the multiple threads he linked using his affiliate ID... But no such transparency of motives appeared.
Such is the way of the world

Well, the idea is to $ earned from referral(as well as from my pocket) to donate the amazing developers here.
It wouldn't matter to me if you were using the proceeds to build a worldwide kitten extermination machine. My concern was that you were /are promoting a company not because they may provide a better product or service, but because they give you money. You should mention that you are biased and that your link is a referral when you publish that in a message.
