Hi, I'm suffering from audio being well out of sync, like +7 seconds.
It just happens on YouTube app, that I barely use so I don't really know when did it start happening, I'm on the latest rootable software version with kingoroot.
Anyone had a similar experience.?
I did tried cleaning dalvik and cache partitions but it didn't help.

I have the exact same issue myself.
Some videos ive found do work correctly while majority 80% plus are well out of sync.
Im on fire os 5.0.5 but have another stick on 5.2.1.0 with same issue.
Would be a huge help if anyone has had this issue and knows how to resolve it.
Found a fix. Seems the firestick and streaming apps do not like running at 50hz mode. I changed it to 60hz as my tv supports both and voila, in sync

Seems to have sorted the issue, was pinning it on alot of different issues and no matter how much I tried to rule out it persisted.
Thanks again.
No problem. This resolution doesnt seem to be anywhere else on the internet. Pretty simple fix
Where do I find this setting? Is this the same one that can be set to automatic?? Because mine was set to automatic and still had the sync problem.

I'm using flashplayer(stock-browser) and mplayer to listen to radio streams but after 5 minutes of joy the stream drops.
How can i fix this?
Is the tablet going in suspended mode or is the screen staying on? If the screen goes off, the device will stop apps from consuming battery by continuing to run.
Also note that it doesn't go into full suspend as soon as the screen turns off; it might be a couple of minutes later.
No the screen stays on.I will try an app that doesn't put the tablet in suspend mode.
Non succesfull sometimes 3 min. or 5 then i got kicked again.
Today jwplayer on a random website was on my list to test.
Max 3 minutes then the vid stream stopped again.
Anyone else having problems with streaming audio and vids on this tablet?
Could it be a Honeycomb/Android bug ?
I have had some odd issues with the Wifi deciding to drop and reconnect. It caused stuff like you are seeing.
Im guessing the fix is going to be a patch. The work around I used that has so far eliminated the issue was just just change from DHCP to Static for that Wifi connection after connecting.
No idea if this will relate to what you are experiencing without more information. Its an easy thing to try however.

What version OS are you running? I recently updated mine to 2.007.04_com_gen1. That took care of alot of the software issues I was having. Go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18493425 and check out the update packages.
EDIT: Sorry, nor OS version but ROM version.
ummmmm............ could you repeat that?

What does GB stand for in 2.007.04_EMEA_GB? Is it a gingerbread rom? Or just made to look like gingerbread?

Don't worry, worry simple boost in ram and a reboot will fix the problem.

Maybe clearing the cache because I don't use all the memory that the phone offers.
I will say that this happens on my decently specced desktop. I'm not sure that this is a problem only your phone is experiencing.
Yeah, this happens when the network is going slow on my device. Not sure if it is a phone problem though.

After spending some more time with the phone, I can see what your are talking about. The video and audio are not in sync while playing a youtube video. During the beginning of the video, the video part freezes for part of a second, and the audio continues on. For the rest of the video, the audio is slightly before the video. Its only on the YouTube app, MX player plays network streams with no problem.

This happens to me as well. ON ALL VIDEO Players, from Facebook, in app videos browsers, and Google Chrome! I've also cleared cache on recovery. And yes restart is a temporary solution, but it still comes back! Please look into this Asus. Simply clearing cache and data on each apps doesn't do any good!

Yes it worked.
So, brand new thing I have ran into recently is that no matter what app I use when I turn the phone horizontal the screen goes black and I can't see the video. Any tips to fix this? I am rooted with xposed.
Is there a screen protector or cover possibly causing this issue?
Have you restarted? (Had a similar issue and restart fixed it)
Sincerely,
ASUS_USA
There is at least one other thread about this. Try the search to see if they found a fix. I had something similar, but only with mp4 files, no matter which app I used. Partial or completely black screen, but the sound was fine. It went away for me with the last firmware update.
No case on there for me.
Hi,
I encountered this problem and have a thread on this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/help/video-playback-issue-ze550ml-2-18-40-7-t3139304). Basically, I had to perform a factory reset in order to fix it. Hope it helps.
Cheers.
Hi, did you managed to fix the problem and how if you did?
I have already performed factory reset with the last update 9/7/15 but still have the same problem.
Is it video files or does this also happen with YouTube and other streaming apps?
Just videos, camera videos that I took and others, Youtube works normaly

Asus Splendid was the problem, it was disabled and after enabling and updating it works normally.
If someone have the same problem ...

Thanks a lot. That safed me hours of searching! I was just starting to think about the videocodec and all other things I changed..... Would have led me in the wrong direction.....
Hi All,
So I've just bought this TV and I've done all the updates I can, and even checked the website for any manual updates. I've done at least 3 full resets too.
As the title says, I'm getting random crashes or reboots - even when it's just sat on a menu screen doing nothing. Streaming anything such as Netflix seems to exacerbate the issue. I'm very lucky if I can even watch a single 40 min TV episode without it rebooting.
Any ideas? Has anybody else had this? Philips are being useless at the moment and simply referred me back to some instructions for 2014 Android TV's despite this one being a 2019 model, and then closed the support ticket before I could even reply.
Cheers,
James
Do you have any firmware updates?
Have you done any firmware updates on your TV?
Also did u check any auto-shut down feature?
Hello,
Thanks for the reply. As I stated I've done all updates already and also checked the website for any manual updates.
The TV isn't shutting down, it's rebooting randomly during viewing, and crashing when doing nothing requiring me to pull the plug to get it working again.
Any other suggestions?

Do you have any HDMIs, SATALLITES connected to your TV?
Please remove them and maybe re-installing the latest firmware would help

Hello, my apologies I didn't see the notification for reply.
I've tried leaving it disconnected but unfortunately the issue still occurs. I will look at reinstalling the firmware.
Thanks for your help so far.
Hi all again,
I just wanted to provide a small update. So I think I've worked out that it's the remote causing the crashing. Which in turn suggests a Bluetooth issue. It isn't consistent, so I'm now monitoring but it seems when the remote gets moved and goes to reconnect it then crashes and reboots. I'll post another update if my findings seem true.
on my Phillips the Isuue came from firetvstick4k.
If i changed Always HDR i have massive problems with lag in UI of my Phillips 65PSU7310.
If i changed it in Firetv to Adaptive...all Lag was gone from my Phillips TV
https://www.4kfilme.de/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Amazon-Fire-TV-Adaptives-HDR.jpg
Also AptoideTV app has given me much Bootloops.
After deinstalled AptoideTV and Gave Firetvstick only Adaptive HDR.All Problems has gone.no bootloop and no Lags anymore.
Perhaps it helps you !
greatz
I habe the Same Problems and Philip’s Support think That i am stupid“did. you try a firmware Update?“ and some other things like That. The Problem is since the Last Auto Update 6-8weeks ago most it happens After 1hour streaming youtube. First reboots android, than nothing Happens After That Philip’s bootlogo and then android Boot apears again all Bye its own.

Hi James2k2,
I know this post is a bit old but I have a Philips OLED with exactly the same random reboot as you get.
You just said it was maybe a Bluetooth issue, can you tell me if you could confirm that? and how did you resolve this please?
Thanks a lot

Hey drgonzo69,
Unfortunately I never got the issue resolved. Philips support just asked me to reinstall the firmware, which I did and I still had the problem. In the end the supplier accepted it back and I bought an LG TV instead (should have gone with my gut and done this in the first place instead of trying to save some money).

Thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately warranty is expired and I can't give the tv back... I'm just going to wait for new firmwares hoping that system will be eventually more stable.

Ah that's a shame! I have to say, for the money the display itself wasn't bad at all. Hopefully a fix will come out.
Hi,
I've searched the forum and Google and did not find any information about this issue...
I have an A70 with Android 10 as you can see on the screenshot.
The issue i have is, when i make a video with the stock camera and super steady activated, the sync is messed up, the videio and audios are out of sync...
I've tryed and clear cache and data of the camera app and did not solve the issue. The only way to have a synced video/audio is to deactivate the super steady option...
Do anyone have this issue too?
Thanks in advance for your answers.
No one has this issue on A70?
I just noticed it too. The video is about 1 second late.

Yeah, me too ? Have you found any other bugs so far?
Turning off super steady doesnt help.
I have the feeling, today's software is written by idiots who don't test their own work. It's simply an unacceptable bug.
