No Network Issue On LG G4 H815T - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, I'm having a problem with lg g4 h815t. When I bought this device it was rooted and the update center was disabled. So I thought how would I update this phone, So I decided to flash stock kdz on this device. Even Downloaded a H815T10B.kdz file from storagecow but when I flashed it was giving me error that "couldn't match mmc......." and when I checked the hardware info it shows me H815 instead of H815T I checked my IMEI through the lg stock kdz link it shows me H815T and buyer as HKG (Hong Kong) and another issue which is main issue is now I can't connect to network because when I try to search for network it says "error while searching for network" and when I press on automatic reg then it says "cannot connect to the network" Although other phones works fine in my area but this one gave me a bad impression I have one phone right now So I can't make any call or text to any one......
Please help me or give me some suggestion to fix this problem
at the time when I was flashing stock rom I didn't make a backup of rooted rom so that's was my stupidity......
By the way now I'm on MM V20e-HKG-XX but the problem remains same as above

have you solved the problem?

any progress ? are fix it ?

lg g3 soft bricked/ problem with models

hello everyone
i don't know about android that much
when i first bought my lg g3 LS990 "sprint device" i had some issues with the 3G/LTE since i live in middle east and the only way to access 3g signals is through CDMA??!
anyway... i went to a repair man and told him about my problem he rooted my phone, flashed a custom recovery "TWRP", then flashed a custom rom
when everything was done he managed to fix the 3g signals some how but the phone still wasn't able to get 4g signals
the weird thing is that when i checked the system info the mobile's model was changed from LS990 to D855
i didn't pay much attention to that back then but in the meanwhile i did some stuff and i had to flash a custom rom so while doing that my phone soft bricked
now i'm trying to flash stock rom again the problem is when i tried to flash LS990 stock rom i had an error message that says "device model is different"
and when i try to flash D855 rom it proceeds to 6% then an error message occurs says "partition change fac... 00000064" can't see the whole error message cause flash tool is not re-sizable
so now im not able to flash D855 model's rom or ls990 one
what should i do please i need help if anybody knows
would try anything thanks in advance

LGD855 Changed to LS990 after flashing wrong rom.and wont go back

Hello Everyone I have a problem with my LG G3 which I have bought it recently was working nice but it had KitKat so I wanted to upgrade to lollipop but didn't know that LG G3 had different variant.
I've downloaded a wrong flash (LS990 sprint) and flashed it. so I lost the network and I noticed that the imei has changed. and I don't have the original IMEI of the phone ( the sticker on the back of phone is for D855 16GB not for D855 32GB).so I think its not the original IMEI.
After bricking the phone I've opened it and noticed that it was D855 written on the motherboard.
when trying to flash the original D855 rom it doesn't work (flashed it using the crossDLL method and using the Hex Method By changing D855 to LS990 to make the flash tool think Its LS990) the flash pass on both methods but i'm stuck on LG logo.
send it to some repairing services here in my country but they didn't fix it they thought its sprint so they flashed PrimeGSM but still no network.
I think I should change the IMEI before flashing D855 or something.
please Help me I've looked all over the NET but find no solution to this problem.
If you need more informations ask me. Help me as soon as possible this is the only phone that I have.
Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I have a ls990 which was flashed with PrimeGSM and is now detected as a d855... I have been trying to get this working for the last two days with no luck
Reply
Hello
What is the problem that you are facing ?
Is it a network problem or what ?
Primegsm is ported from d855 so i think it will show D855 on any lg g3 that does'nt mean that your phone detected as d855.
Make sure your phone is ls990 or another variant
And which country and carrier ? So i can help you.
I basically have a soft bricked phone - no OS as all. I am in New Zealand running on the Vodafone network.
I was using PrimeGSM and it was working fine but decided to go back to the stock ZV8, when running through LG Flash Tool I noticed Download mode was showing the model as a D855 and would not accept the LS990 DLL - I then made the mistake of using the generic DLL with a D855 image which started a boot loop - then made more mistakes and ended up with no OS and stuck at the LG logo.
At this stage I am able to get to fastboot and use fastboot boot to get into TWRP but cannot do much from there, I also have to use the D855 TWRP image as the LS990 fails with a device tree issue. fastboot will not erase any partitions or flash any images manually. Using terminal in TWRP I am able to browse the partition though but cannot mount the SD card or use adb to push or pull (fails with error closed)
I stuffed up quite a few times along the way but sure I can recover from it since I still have quite a bit of access to the device...
I managed to get my phone going again by following a guide I found in the forum, I am pretty sure it would solve the ops issue as well.
Really quick and easy, I just bridged the points with a needle and copper cable.

LG G4 has different model numbers, cant find stock firmware.

Hello i need help with my LG G4. Am trying to find the offical firmware but i have failed.

I tried to use the LG Bridge to get the firmware and it got me F500K so when i tried to install it failed.
I have tried to install several firmwares using the LGUP but all fail bringing me an error of kdz is invalid.
I have tried the LG Flash Tool and it have failed too.

I bought the phone from a friend so it has no box
If it's a single SIM and not from America, probably H815.

If motherboard says F500l then it's a F500l

franken phone.. mean phone refurbished by other variant parts.. even they can edit software .. best thing to do is... open up phone and look at the motherboard model.. what ever the motherboard says thats your variant.. you have to phisically see it with your own eyes.. not by looking in software they also edit that..
Wen i checked the mother board, thr was F100L MAIN

The board version is F500L. But the software is of H818. Therefore flash tools would see the phone as H818 and generate invalid file error for any firmware other than H818. So you can recover it installing different firmwares of H818.
You can get its LP 10e here and 10b here.
By the way, how did you upgrade from LP to MM? Means using which tool?

[Solved] LG G4 NT-Code Error and no network service

Hi,
I just got LG G4 H815T with stock android 5.1 on it.
every thing was working just fine till I decided to force flash Marshmallow and I got the famous error message "NT-Code mcc/mnc...etc"
some people could solve this by editing the "cust_path_mapping.cfg" file using the values in the error message...but in my case I didn't get any values in the error message...just symbols like this [] as well as my Network is not working.
After some research I noticed that this error message and the "cust_path_mapping.cfg" file somehow connected to the NT-Code in the hidden menu (I mean the LG hidden menu which could be accessed by this code *#546368#*815#*) in the hidden menu you you can go in to SVC> Version info... and then you will find NT Code.
the NT code contains long addresses like this: "1","FFF,FFF,FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,11"
And it seems the last two digits refer to the area code, and for fixing the NT Code error message the "cust_path_mapping.cfg" file must contain a code line similar to that one in the NT Code. for example the file should has line like: FFFFFF,11=/cust/OPEN_COM
so the final tow digits in the NT Cod Address is the same in the Line code (which is 11)
So.. My problem is...I still couldn't fix my Netowork issue.. my be this because of my region (Middle East, Cairo). I am not really sure
any one can help me ?? ...especially if you are from the same region so you can send me the line codes for the "cust_path_mapping.cfg" and also the NT Code Address ??
sorry for taking long to explain my problem..I just thought that every detail could help to fix this issue
first of all, H815T is hong kong version
next thing what rom you force flashed on your phone? different phones have different baseband... cross flashing is always risky so you can face such problems ...

First.. I tried the Europe version for marshmallow firmware, but when I faced this issue I tried to go back for lollipop, but nothing changed.
I tried many firmware included the Honk Gong , and Australia because both of them come with H815T version according to this list
http://lg-kdz-firmware.com/lg-g4-firmware/195.html
after all nothing changed and the device still has no service

Ok I will start from the beginning
First I tried to upgrade my phone to Marshmallow, so I went to this link http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/LG+G4/ then opened H815 then went to inside Marshmallow folder and downloaded the Europe version (I don't remember if it was the C or D, but I think I picked the H81520C version )
When I started to flash using LG Flash Tool 2014 the process stopped and it gave me error message (in the flash tool not in the device), and nothing happened to the device of course because this error appeared after checking process for the Kdz file, so every thing was ok.
But I told my self may I can flash the lollipop Firmware for Europe version too, then I'll try to get the OTA update from Marshmallow...and here when every thing started. After successful installing for the Lollipop Europe version (I picked this time the Europe general H815B from the same link) I got the NT Code error message on my device and my device signal is gone, like I don't have operators in my country. I started to research about this error and I noticed then that many people got similar one but with two differences.
The normal error message has values inside it for MCC, MNC and supset the message says "Current Version is not available for user. Can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc [xxxxx] subset [xx]" and instead of (X) you will find numbers or "F". In my case I got the same message but with empty brackets.
The second deference here is about the network signal, most of people who got the message (with values not empty like me) still have their signal work.. unlike me.
some people could solve the message by editing the "cust_path_mapping" file using the values in the error message as I explained before, but I didn't got any values so I told my self "the new version cause that error and that may be because the different bands"
I tried to search for the default version for my device which was H81510p as I remembered it , but sadly I couldn't find and Firmware versions end with 10P (just to be clear...it's not H815P...but I meant my version was H815T V10P)
I was confused so I choose to try another firmware. I piked this time H815P...that's because H815P used on UAE which considered in the same area here in Egypt and we both use some similar bands, but the problem still there.
In that moment I tried to go back for H815T Firmware with any versions from China (Honk Kong) and Australia, I tried the V10c , V10b and V10h ...and still no improvements.
My last tries was about changing the NT Code inside the hidden menu as I explained too..and I want mention that at the first..when I got the NT Code message with empty brackets..the Address inside NT Code in the hidden menu was like : "0","FFF,FFF,FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,FF"
but when I changed it trying to put my country code like this : "1","FFF,FFF,FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,20" I got the NT Code error message with same values I entered in that long address...so the message changed to "Can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc [FFFFF] subset [20]"
And here when I noticed the relation between this long address and the NT Code error message besides the cust_path_mapping file
The strange thing is...I couldn't change the address to it's first values..I mean...if I put 0 instead of 1 ...I got "NTCode write error" and nothing changed...but I can easily change the last two digits with any thing and I can go back for example to FF if I want. just the first number won't be changed to 0 again
I think that's all...do you have any conclusions ??
Here is screen shots from my Version info screen....the NT Code is now just "0", because I tried to delete it

LG G4 F500S bricked, stuck with download mode.

Hello Members,
I will start with a bit of a back story. I ordered a G4 H815 off ebay and the seller information showed it is coming from Hong Kong. Upon arrival, I checked the phone's hardware using CPU-Z and everything seemed fine. The back plate and the about section of the phone both said the phone is H815 model. The android version of the phone was 5.1 so I tried checking for the phone update through ota but it said there are no updates available. So I started searching on the internet for a H815 image file to update to Nougat but I found that Nougat is not available for the 815 model. So I searched and downloaded MM build for the 815 model (H81520b). I flashed it and then later bricked my phone. Sometimes the display stayed blank, sometimes it worked but the radio of the phone never worked. Now after flashing, the phone's about changed the model number to H818. After extensive research and digging through XDA I found that the phone I got is a F500 version refurb (LG or someone did a big scam here). So I downloaded the F500L20c image and flashed it and it fixed my phone.
Later when I checked with imei tracker websites, I found out that my model is F500S and although the L built worked fine for me, the network was very unstable. In order to fix this I downloaded the nougat built for F500S (F500s30b). It flashed perfectly on my phone but I got many errors on startup, so I decided to flash it again but with the refurbish option on the LGUP. The flash started like normal but got stuck at 38% and gives the error 0x2000. After that my phone only boots up to download mode. I tried many times using the refurbish and upgrade option, with the previous and other different kdz's but no success to any of my tries. Any help here would be appreciated.
