Hi Guys,
I own a Huawei Honor 6 in India and am trying to use earphones on the same. Somehow my headphone Mic does not work and it works with other devices like Samsung, Xiaomi etc. The Mic button which we used to play, pause, change song does not work at all. Also, when i call anyone, I can hear other person's voice but he cannot not hear mine.
I have tested this with Soundmagic, JBL, Skullcandy and Samsung earphones and still not able to figure out issue.
I have also checked the same on EMUI 2.3, EMUI 3.0, EMUI 3.1 and EMUI 4.0 and still the problem exists.
Can anyone please help me on the same.
Thank you,
Sumedh

Have you tried to give the headphone plug a twitch while inserted in the phone? You may have a bad contact.
If various headphones don't work with your device, it means the problem is your device and your should send it to RMA.
You should check your device with the nearest Honor service center for hardware issues.
Get the device serviced!!!!
headphone jack is broken

Just got myself a Galaxy Note 8.0 (WIFI) for about 2 weeks. Everything was working well until I need to watch a movie on the plane. Then realized I got no audio on the earphones. The earphones used is not the ones that comes with the Note 8.0. It was the ones from my Note 2.
But I don't think the problem lies with the earphones. Anyway I tried again with an external speakers. Again no audio.
The audio out on the built-in speakers are good.
I am using the default video player. And Android 4.2.2. Upgraded when I first booted up the machine.
Tried going through the system sound settings and software (video player) settings. But nothing works.
And when I plug in the earphones or speakers, the message "something" connected is shown in the status bar.
So is it because the input jack is not working or something else? Hate to bring it back to the service center cos it will be one month later when I get back to Singapore. Now I am in China.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Having an issue where I can't get the microphone on any of my Bluetooth devices to work with OK Google.
I have a motorcycle Bluetooth (china brand) and also a set of Jabra headphones. Both work done playing music and using them on phone calls but for the life of me when I activate OK Google it defaults to the internal microphone only and won't use the Bluetooth microphone.
I've tried changing all the settings under voice in the ok Google settings and also the settings to do with Bluetooth headset and hands-free bit still can't get it to work.
Is it just me, is it my settings or has OK Google stopped working via Bluetooth (I've read others have no issue)
Running 8.0 but have also tried it on a 7.2.1 S8
Any help or ideas?
Hi!
I just have to ask, did you ever get this working, and if so, how?!
I'm having the exact same problem as you, with a Galaxy S6 on 7.0 and a BT-S2 chinese helmet intercom.
I'm going crazy and really considering going back to iphone just because of this.
Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply. Did not get any notification about the reply.
Did not get it working. Turns out it needs to be included in the headset as a standard feature (which the china headset did not have) Now use Sena headsets and they work great.
Please bear with me, this is my first ever post.
I recently bought Huawei CM-Q3 ANC USB-C headphones and now I find out that they don't work for calls and that there are many compatibility issues with USB-C headphones. I have a rooted HTC 10 running Android 8.0.0 with Magisk. The headphones work fine for music and I use the Magisk module James DSP which seems to recognize it as headphones just fine. For what I found it seems to be a dailer/driver issue in which the headphones are not recognized as such but as a charging device when calling. Is there a workaround for this? A dailer app I can download? A driver maybe? Anything? I'd be willing to get a different ROM.
I'd very much appreciate any help from the community.
I'm using corvus 17.0 in my poco f3
Whenever I talk to someone on messenger or discord, they can't hear my sound properly,my headphone is 100% ok but still they can't hear me properly
This issue was also in the previous version 16.8.I changed 3 kernels still the problem doesn't go away. They say my mic sound is too much low, they can't hear anything.
How can I fix this problem?

Hello everyone, please tell me, there was a problem: when I connect TWS headphones and want to talk over cellular communication, through them, the sound from the microphones is very bad, the interlocutor constantly asks again and there are a lot of some noises. When I connect the same headphones to another phone, the sound is recorded clear, without interference and without noise, what can I do about it? Oneplus 9 pro phone, firmware c61 oxygen. Headphones: Sony WF-1000XM3 and also tried Xiaomi Airdots 3 pro. Maybe someone faced this problem?
