Hi!
Today I installed my brand new car audio system (JVC KD-R871BT) which should enable me to make phone calls via bluetooth.
I have made some test-calls.
Unfortunately the conversational partner doesn't hear my voice (he says I he can't barely hear me).
The microphone volume over bluetooth seems much to low.
I played around with my car audios settings (noice canceling, mic boost, etc...). But nothing made it better.:crying:
Is anybody else experiencing this issue too?
Do you know how I can fix this?
Everything else works really fine. I can hear the conversational partner very clearly and loud enouch. Also the music-streaming via bluetooth works very smoothly... just the microphone volume seems to be buggy.
Please help!

Hi!
Update: this seems to be a problem with HTC One M8.
Today I tested it with another phone and it worked.
Anybody else with the described problem?

I recently bought a xiaomi mi6 in canada. It was working fine but there was occasional sound problem like no audio during a call. So in CIT mode i checked all microphones and speakers. They were all working. Then i tried to calibrate speakerphone PA. Now its all messed up. No sound at all. Though it works fine via headphones and bluetooth headsets. I have attached screenshots of errors i am getting when i try to calibrate speakers. Any help plz.

I was just wondering if you've got this sorted out?
And I'm thinking of getting one (I'm with Rogers), how's
been your experience ?
Thank you.
I am having a defective peice of headsets which have a malfunctioning mic ,when I call someone they can't hear me cause the audio is been taken from the headset microphone. I used to use soundabout to trick my device into thinking that the headsets are headphones and hence use the device mic during calls. But on the op5t the app's keep crashing. Is there an alternative or a fix for my problem?
Hellow i have the same problem did you find any solution i tried to buy the pro version but it doesnt work.. please keep me in touch if you found the solution
thank you
Hello.
I am on latest AEX 6.7, I have bought a pair of bluetooth 5.0 headphones, and the audio on call is really bad (they hear me far away). I'm pretty sure it's the ROM's fault (the headphones are of excellent quality).
Is bluetooth bad on any AOSP ROMs? Do you have any suggestions?

Is this module for record phone calls? The recording of phone calls is already integrated in the AEX, and that isn't the problem.. the problem is the poor quality of the microphone of the bluetooth earphones in phone calls.

You didn't understand the meaning of my post.
Phone microphone is ok, both in voice call (also recorded), and VoIP.
The problem is when I connect a bluetooth headset, so the default microphone becomes the bluetooth headset, so when I make a phone call (normal or VoIP) my voice feels very low and far, and my caller struggles to hear me.
So, I asked, since I'm sure the bluetooth headsets are of excellent quality, if I could do something to improve the bluetooth of the zuk in the calls, because I read around that the problem could be of the AOSP roms, but I don't want to go back to a rom stock only for bluetooth (and I'm not even sure it would improve).
(If even now you have not understood the meaning of my question, you are a troll)

Is the recording OK when not using BT headset keeping recording format same.
Just to let you know.. There are other users who have faced problem of similar kind whose issues have resolved by changing audio recording format to aac.. I also use Bluetooth headset seinhizer HD 4.40 BT.. I have no such issues coz I always use the module and no such issues for me.. That's why I suggested..
I don't troll.
Skavalex has option to select recording source as internal and not mic which could have solved your problem.

Ok, i will try. Thanks ?
Tws earphones are often limited in this, the mic is actually far away from your mouth so you might get low input from them, the fault isnt your phone, its just that even the pricier tws earphones suffer the same problem. Its just physics, when you speak, the sound goes forward but the mic of the tws is near your ear so the sound gain is very low. Try using the same tws on other phone amd see if the problem persists

Yes.. I solved it by changing the smartphone Unfortunately, by switching to ROM AOSP there is a worsening of many things, which come out in daily use, for example, the audio in VoIP video calls (whatsapp, Instagram, etc.) is poor .. they hear me very far away or with disturbances .
Hi all!
I've been using some custom ROMs for about 3-4 months and experiencing them.
Unfortunately for me, after one I installed, I started to face an issue on mobile's own handset.
For example; I tried that and the handset worked well just after installing Project Elixir 1.7 (ProjectElixir_1.7_ginkgo-12.1-20220523-1049-OFFICIAL).
But after a day (maybe restart phone for a few times), I got same issue:
- When I get a call or call someone, handset gives the sound out of the speaker directly and microphone doesn't work (nobody can not hear me when I am talking).
Otherwise, with headsets with cable or wireless ones on Bluetooth, phone caller works well.
I need to add this note, too; this problem occurs on some other custom ROMs.
Do you know any advice or suggestion to be able to fix the issue ?
Thanks in advance !

If other earphones work fine then your earphone is damaged.
