edit: Can't change title, it's actually download mode I cannot get into.
So I need to bring my phone to stock. Not for the first time.
However now when I try to get into download mode (Take out batt, hold vol up and plug phone into pc) nothing happens except a triangle with ! in it.
If I try to do it but keep the battery in, it goes to download mode. I can assign port etc, but when I run LGFlashtool it does not see the phone at all.
This happens with any rom it has installed on it.
Any ideas guys?

When you connect your device to your computer with the triangle on the screen, what does Windows device manager see the phone as? Does it say Qualcomm or LG USB? You may have to run the LG diagnostic tool to repair phone?

I unlocked my LGOG today, and I decided to flash CM, so I did. Next step was installing gapps, so I downloaded .zip, and transfered it on my phone. After that I entered recovery, and saw that none of my files are visible, so i wiped everything to start over. Now my ROM isn't starting. All i can do is:
-enter fastboot
-enter recovery
What are my options to make the phone work again?
PLS help
What wipes have you made...you know..sometimes i'm trully amazed by the lazyness of some of you...if you would've used the damn search function BEFORE start flashing new roms..or even if you would've googled around...you'd found that files from 4.1.2 are seen on 4.2 on /data/media folder and you nees root explorer to get there...now...do whatever you want...from now on i will ignore stupidity, ignorance and lazyness.
Hint...kdz updater...or tinybin...but go for kdz updater...

WTH are you talking about. I flashed a lot CM phones without a problem. This is first time i face issue like this.
I can't get into Root Explorer, cos i can't boot.
KDZ etc can't recognize my phone.
I tried pushing some filles into recovery, but adb says "device offline".
tinybin method doesn't work to because PC doesn't see my phone.
Calm down man
Well honestly that happened to me too haha (newbie thing). I tried everything but as the fcking pc didn't recognize the phone i got pissed off and gave my phone to a friend (someone who knows) and he had it for a week. Had to somehow convert it to n4 in order to the pc recognize the phone then had to flash a hongkong kdz (e977) so he could use emergency mode to flash the original one. Can't give you the proper details cause he didn't give them to me but was a PAIN in the ass.
I would be very glad if u could send me somÄ™ hints
Have you tried lgnpst?

When i start LGNPST it can't recognize phone :/
Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Should I do it from fastboot, and THEN plug it to PC and start LGNPST or what?

If you shut your phone off, then start it holding both volume up and down so you get into Download mode. After that you can KDZ or LGNPST(I Think, never LGNPST, but thats how you do for KDZ restore).
since I unlocked my bootloader with freegee, I can't enter download mode (pressing both up and down vol and plugging micro USB to the phone)
why (
Turn off phone..
Pres vol down
Plug phone to pc..
Voila...download mode.

nothing happens :| ... I know how to enter download mode. I flashed 2 official ROMs and there was red writing "DOWNLOAD MODE" and now. Just black screen ... I think I'm fu**ed.
I have the ATT model of LG Optimus G Pro E980.
Today, I rooted my phone and everything went smoothly as it usually does. Everything seemed fine until i tried flashing this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2428207
Now I can only boot and get a LG screen and then it just turns black. I got into download mode maybe once or twice but I can't repeat it and the device doesn't seem to show up on my computer either way. I booted into CWM maybe once by smashing keys and it just randomly popped up but its also not repeatable . Any suggestions, I'll honestly try everything.
Thanks

1) Pull out the battery. Your phone will be turned off
2) Insert the battery but the phone shoud stay turned off. Plug usb cable to the phone but not to the pc
3) While the phone is off and battery is in, press both volume up and down buttons together (Do it with your single hand)
4) While you are pressing the buttons with your hand, plug the usb cable to the pc with your other hand.
5) You should see phone gets into download mode (DOWNLAD will be written on the screen)
6) Now the pc should recognize the phone.
7) Open LG Mobile Support Tool
8) You should be able to see that it recognizes the phone. If it doesn't, repeat the first 4 steps when LG mobile support tool is open.
9) After your phone is seen by the pc, choose Upgrade Recovery from Options.
10) It will check the FW from internet by using the imei Number of the phone or you can enter E988 and your serial number manually
11) Then it will download the FW and recover your phone. It will take time according your connection speed.

The Support Tool does recognize the phone, but I am unable to upgrade recovery. It goes all the way to downloading software, but the time elapsed stays at 00:00:13 (13 seconds). I do have the firmware installed on my computer though, and I am now able to access CWM. Help?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I solved my problem by going into download mode and flashing the default att rom. If anyone else has this problem you can pm me or i think there is a thread on here titled something like solving lg optimus g pro softbrick
My T-Mobile LG G4 is stuck in download mode (says Firmware Update, Do not unplug the USB connection until the process is complete). My device is not rooted. When I take out the battery for a couple of minutes, the screen stays the same. Any combination of power and volume keys does not change the screen. My computer does not recognize my phone is connected to it when I check it in Windows Explorer. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
Take out the battery and unplug the USB. If the screen stays the same you have a magic phone that runs without power.
Otherwise if it always boots into download mode, head over to one of the kdz threads for your phone.
Download the KDZ your phone has or the latest if you aren't sure.
Download the USB drivers and install.
Download the LG2014 flash tool and install.
Try doing a "Normal" flash of the KDZ and it should boot up without loss of your data.
If that doesn't work try a "CSE" flash.

Do you have a USB jig? This can be used to force the phone into download mode so you can at least tell if the phone is alive.
Also, on a Windows computer, open device manager, connect the phone with the battery installed to the computer, and look for any new device that appears.

Good day.
I was trying to restore my phone back to its original LG OS. Getting rid of the unsuccessful root. But I can't go to USB mode whenever I connect it to the USB. I can see the download mode if I press the vol up. But after that, the screen just turns black. I'm sure the PC is not the problem since my PC has a voice command whenever a device was putted or pulled out.
I am following this guide and I'm doing great with it. But my phone won't get recognize by my laptop (HP/Windows 8.0)

I hope you can all help me so that I can use my phone again. Thank you
