All Apps on homescreen (galaxy lab) - no app drawer - Note 7 Questions & Answers

Hi all,
I m waiting my exynos international version and I m wondering if it have the option to hide app drawer and show all app on homescreen.
I ve tried the retail version in the samsung point in a store (in Italy Note7 is not still available for sale) and I can't find this option.
Can you try with the app "QuickShortcutMaker" if are there some hidden feature to make this? Finding for example "galaxy lab" or "show all app" or "all app on homescreen" or something similar..
I need this feature. And if it is no available I m thinking that I will return the note7.
I dont know why samsung still do stupid thing: This option is present on note5 and s7.. there are no reasons to delete it

Yes, it's available...

Is it possible to purchase Samsung Dual Clock widget ?

Hello all- I like the Samsung widget "Dual Clock" but it seems to only be available while using the default TW Launcher. I would like to use it with launcher Pro.
I have not seen it available to purchase/download from the Samsung App site or anywhere else.
Is it possible to get this app anywhere ?

Apps not showing in App Drawer

Hello, just got my Note 10.1 and I love it!
One question though, my app drawer is missing some installed apps. I have Dropbox and Hangouts installed but they are not visible in the app drawer. They are not in the "disabled" apps either. The only way I can open them is to search for the app on the Google Play store. What am I missing? Thanks.

Go to settings apps all and see launcher then in bottom tap clear default touch home button and select always on launcher if still not fixed then try using other launchers like go launcher apex Nova next or others available at playstore.

Lol i dont know about that but thanks.
Yeah you can open up app drawer and then hit menu button and then edit.
Then click on the folder and move the apps out back outside into the app drawer and then just delete the folder if you want. Hopefully I explained that well lol if not message me again.

There are two multi app folders. This one and a samsung app folder. My efforts to seperate didnt work. Im using nova launcher and app drawer is normal with no folders. No need to root.

Correct, and to add to what you said,
If you want the entire folder gone and want to do it quickly, just bring up menu then select edit. Then drag said folder to "Remove" and it will delete folder and move all apps back to the App drawer.

Using another launcher & multi-window

Hi,
Thinkin about to buy the tab pro 10.1 version as it is on a pretty low price today in the Netherlands. (360 euro)
I read a lot of reviews and it seems good to replace samsungs touchwiz by another launcher (e.g. Nova).
I only wonder, does removing touchwiz as a launcher, also remove the unique multi-window / multi-task functionality on the galaxy tab pro? Or is that still working with another launcher?
Thanks for your replies.
I've used Go, Nova, and Next none of them effected multi-window at all. So, no worries on that point, on to your mext new purchase enjoy!

LG Health app missing?

Hey gang,
I can't find the shortcut to launch the LG Health app. It's NOWHERE to be found on my phone! I know the app is installed as I can access it via the 'G' screen on the left of the home screens. I don't have any apps hidden in the app drawer either.
Can any of you guys see it in your app drawer?
You have use the LG extra page, whatever the name, to see it. You can't start the app itself it seems.

Really?
How rubbish! I won't be using that then.
Thanks
Yeah you can only use the widget at the home screen.
Is there some smart app to create your own shortcut maybe? A lot of LG stuff goes out the window if you start using another launcher.

I've just done that very thing!
I'm using Nova and I've made an shortcut to a Nova 'Activity' which exposes everything the phone can do pretty much.
If you're not using Nova there are apps in the store that will do the same. Smart Shortcuts is one.

Interesting.... Have you found one that gives you access to the Widget 'Smart Notice'?
That is the one widget I would like to use with Nova.
It's also a shame Nova does not give you access to LG Health by means of a separate home screen. Yes you can do as you say, make a shortcut Activity to LG Health but an icon is not the same as swiping to its own widget style home screen!

No lockscreen shortcuts or widgets?

Anyone else surprised by this? I'm okay with no widgets, but not having the shortcuts on the lockscreen is very disappointing.

Same here, very disappointed
Well hopefully they add it in in future updates. Really do miss that. Other than that, loving this phone!

I this a touch wiz or verizon change ?
touchwiz hadn't had lock screen widget since the new s5 version came out. the tab series doesn't even have them either. I have a feeling they're dunzo especially since lolipop got rid of lockscreen widgets anyway.

Widgets are there, they moved them away from the tabbed format. They went backwards a hit. Do a long press on the screen and they will come up.
Bill
no he means on the lock screen.

Yeah last galaxy device I had was the S4. I didn't know lollipop got rid of them. I can do without the widgets, I just miss the shortcuts. I loved putting a a google voice search shortcut on the lock screen for when I'm driving.
