LG G4 Marshmallow CPU frequency - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, my g4 cpu frequency in lollipop is
A53 - 1.4 ghz
A57 - 1.8 ghz
But in marshmallow
A53 - 1.8 ghz
A57 - 1.4 ghz
Does anyone also experience that change in cpu frequency? Will this somehow help to prevent boot loop? Thanks

[Q] Overclocking

Is it safe to overclock the processor and GPU a bit? Asking this since this tablet's processor is simply an underclocked Snapdragon 600.
(If I do, I'll be using ElementalX)
I don't think it makes that much sense. The s4 pro is already fast and does everything (and I mean everything) 600s and 800s can (obviously not considering chipset-specific tasks that our devices are not capable of in any case). I own a n4, same exact SoC and clock speed, and overclocking can be done up to 1.75 GHz. Even if I were to overclock I'd avoid the GPU. In any case follow the instructions provided by your kernel dev, he surely knows best
When you install ElementalX, the installer will guide you.
I'd recommmend you to overclock the cpu to 1.7 GHz and the gpu to 450 MHz. With everything else, just stick to the default.

I overclocked to 1.7 GHz and the GPU up to 491 MHz, but the performance improvement wasn't even notable and I got only 800 more points on AnTuTu and 3 or 4 more FPS on 3DMark

[Q] My note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s exynos 5 octa not working correctly ?

My note's exynos should have a 4 arm cortex-a15 @ 1.90 GHz & a 4 arm cortex-a7 @ 1.30 GHz but my cortex-a7 has somehow been overclocked to 1.90 GHz and the cluster switch between these two has stopped and because of this i think all the cores run at the same time and my tablet over heats and runs out of battery very quick . what should i do ? please help

You must be the first man in the 'verse to run HMP (all cores together) on an exynos 5420 tablet
As for your problem you probably run all 4 A15 cores together at all times. This is called the performance governor and it's enough to overheat your tablet ... just change it back to interactive with whatever app the first change was made.

But it is on interactive

[Q&A] Is my phone over clocked?

I'm using MIUI 8 beta with Xcelerate kernel. I just checked "about phone" and I saw that it is showing 1.7 GHz as clock speed of processor instead of 1.6 GHz. Is my phone over clocked? Or it is just rounding off 1689 MHz as 1.7 GHz?
Its Xcelerated!

Yes it is since Xcelerate is an overclocked kernel but don't be afraid it won't run at max frequencies.

Overclocking

The processor of moto z2 force is snapdragon 835. It has 8 cores kryo 280(modified cortex a73). So if cortex a73 allow cores be overclocked up to 2.8 ghz, can snapdragon be overclocked up to 2.8 ghz?

I started getting instability over 2.6 GHz steps on Gold cluster and Silver can be clocked up to at least 2.1 GHz. You start getting barely any returns compared to power consumption. After 2.5 GHz, the overclock Tachyon has for Gold, I didn't see much performance increase compared to the near triple power consumption.
In short. We can OC to 2.6 without issue but that step uses 3x more power than the jump from 2.4-2.5 for barely any gains. Silver cluster can get to 2.1GHz without issue and not much power increase.

Undervolt and underclock the CPU - Samsung J2 Pro

I have rooted my Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro - SM-J210F. How low can I set the frequency?
Currently it shows only 5 presets - 768 MHz, 900 MHz, 1200 MHz, 1350 MHz, 1500MHz
How can I safely lower than this frequency and is there a way to undervolt my CPU - with and without having to flash a custom kernel? I want to know both possible options.
I have seen people claiming minimum frequency to be 300MHz. How do they achieve this?
