Reflashed android 6.0.1 factory image and set up my phone, enrolled in the android beta programme and got the android 7.0 update.. so I downloaded it and it started to say it would install and started to countdown to reboot but it didn't reboot and didn't install now when I check for updates it says phone is up to date.

My tablet is currently on stock MRA58K. I've rooted it, installed TWRP, and have Xposed installed (if that matters). I've been holding off installing the OTA system update(s) because I didn't want to mess with re-rooting (I see that's not a concern). Anyways, after searching for a fix to my Netflix playback problem, I see that it was fixed with one of the monthly updates (MRA58U). With this information I went through the steps of installing the OTA update (Settings->About Tablet->System updates). The updated downloaded and asked me if I wanted to install it and restart the tablet. Everything looked normal. When the tablet rebooted it booted straight into recover (TWRP). Confused by this, I just rebooted into system from TWRP. As far as I can tell the update didn't install. The build is still MRA58K and I still have the Netflix playback issue.
Is there a way to manually download and install the incremental monthly updates? I don't want to install the full blown factory image and have to re-setup the tablet.
Thanks
Maybe just get some MRA58V ROM since you have TWRP? And yeah, you wont be able to install official OTA with TWRP, you need to be stock for that.
anyone can help?
why my Robin's didn't get update for nougat
first i bought this phone is MM 6.0
then i upgraded to MM 6.0.1
and then, it was show that i had 7.0 Nougat upgrade
i downloaded it, but when i'm installing, and it brought me to the Recovery Mode
then i reboot the system
when the Robin is on it is still MM 6.0.1
and now, when i go to System Updates in the settings, there is no update for Nougat and it's tell my Android is up to date but still in MM 6.0.1
anyone can help? sorry for my bad english
Try this
-Go into Settings -> Apps -> Hit the Menu and select Show System - > Find Google Services Framework
-Select Storage, you will see a button for Clear Data; clear it.
-Go into your dialer and type *#*#2432546#*#* - This will cause a force check-in. You will notice that it shows check-in succeeded across the top.
Go back to Setting -> About Phone -> System updates and then click the check now button.
Hope this work for you..

Flash the lastest factory image via fastboot.
I've already updated to the latest android 7.1.2 via adb tool. The image download from developers.google.com/android/ota.
But I still recieving android 7.1.1 ota updates notification.
If accept the update. It will process the download. After downloading finish, it says there's no need to install the update because my system is up to date, then the notification will disappear. But after a while the update notification will show again .
What's the problem with that. I haven't rooted my device.
I'm not currently enrolled in the beta program because I've been having random issues with some things that aren't present in the latest stable November release. I decided to test things out again and flashed taimen-opp6.171019.012 which is the latest DP2 beta for 8.1 ... But, after initial setup I get a notification to install the latest 8.0.0 build.. It's a 513.2 MB File... says it's the latest public release.. Why am I getting this notification? I can't get it to go away even after a reboot. I haven't tried re-flashing .. I'll do that but.. Why so odd Google?!?!?
Your gonna get that if you aren't enrolled in the beta program. Just enroll and if you don't like it, unenroll and you'll get the notification to go back or manually flash the latest 8.0 image. When you enroll in the beta, the notification will go away
Hello everyone.
I've downloaded HD1903_11_F (almost 4GB) using Oxygen Updater.
Uninstalled Magisk
Installed the update
Installed Magisk to the inactive slot and then restarted the phone.
After restart, OS still on version 11. I've repeated the steps several times and always have the same result. It does not update.
Any idea why and how to bypass this?
Thanks,
kodiak.
P.S - Although I was able to download the file using Oxygen Updater, on system updates, it says my phone is up to date. This is the first time. Whenever I had an update on Oxygen Updater, system updates also showed that update.
Local install?
Yes. Local upgrade
I upgraded to Android 12 by installing the HD1901_11_F file from Oxygen Updater. I have now downloaded HD1903_11_F from Oxygen Updater, however, it fails to install at 0%.
