I bought a Verizon edition galaxy note 7 under the impression that it is unlocked out of the box. Everything is working except for picture messaging. Can someone please help me fix this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Using T-Mobile service.

Howdy,
Everywhere I have been searching and I can't seem to find the answer. Can I buy an unlocked version for Verizon? The reason I ask is because I look at the specs and I see LTE. Can someone help please. Thank you.

No, to use the Verizon service you will need to get the phone from Verizon and it will have logo on the front and back if it will work.

One more question even though my phone is unlock I thought that the phone will work if you put in a SIM card from another carrier that it would work even though they are on different networks?

I just purchased a used Samsung Galaxy SII for my girlfriend on Swappa. This is the T-Mobile version of the phone. According to the description, the phone is not unlocked. She uses Wal-Mart's Family Mobile powered by T-Mobile. I am wondering if I will need to unlock this phone for use on that network and if so, how do I go about doing it? I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can provide. Thank you very much.

I don't think you need to unlock to use it on Family Mobile. Just put the SIM in and you should be good to go.

U don't need to unlock because any T-Mobile based service will work on a T-Mobile phone without unlocking. APN might need to be changed that's all. I have used T-Mobile straight Sim on this phone and work great with no unlock

No you shouldn't but there is an easy free sim unlock anyways I use my t989 with straight talk att sim card right now....just flash an old radio can't rember which one off top my head but its on this fourm just Google it.. An ways flash certain old radio then that unlock network sim, then just flash newest radio back and the sim unlock will stay...just incase u needes the info..if I was u I would go ahead and sim unlock it so you will have it unlocked if later u decide to u a att sim sometime in future

Hello, all.
I recently decided that I must move from T Mobile to ATT because of unresolvable signal issues with the Note 3 at work. The phone was paid for in full at T-Mobile, and I was told that all I needed to do to move to ATT was to follow an unlocking procedure, which I did at the ATT store. At the ATT store I also moved my Nexus 5 over to ATT without a hitch, but the Note 3 has no LTE or data for that matter. Voice and text work fine. This had the ATT employee stumped.
Is there a technical reason for this and if so, how do I fix it? Many thanks.
You need to add the APN for AT&T data. I'm running a T-Mobile version on AT&T as well.

At&t is better than tmo? Better NAHHHH. Better speeds? Mayyyybe just maybe

I played around with the APN settings, eventually just copying what was on my Nexus 5 and PERFECT! Everything works now.
Much thanks!

I really didn't want to give up T-Mobile because I was getting amazing 40/10Mbps LTE. It doesn't matter to me what I get at home, since my home connection is 100/5. Now I'm on AT&T I am getting about 6/1 but at least I can use my phone at work without worrying about reliability.

How different are your nexus settings compared to mine? Also, don't just say thanks but slap the thanks button too.

Yes, just slightly.
But on the Note 3 the URLs were some sort of Cingular address.

if you go to this website... input your cellular info then the person you are going to sell to cellular info. it will tell you if it's compatible or not... based on your info.. if you S5 is unlocked, he/she is only getting 2/3G only. Give it a try.

Heed the site's results with caution. Well maybe just use it in addition to research. I found many incorrect results. Example Sprint Moto X 2013 (xt1056). Results showed no compatibility with it's gsm/umts against tmo/att. The xt1056 is an awesome buy especially if the ESN is ba, because they are cheap! The device works on 2g/3g//H+ after a quick fix to unlock it with your PC. Takes about 3 minutes to accomplish, however stick out the box it will not work as the site suggests.
My brother in law connected his Verizon s4 with simply mobile and he gets fast 4g
